Nice short video. Straight to the point, no BS, and good product shots without begging us to buy. Great video. Keep making them like this. I just sub'd and looking into the products.
I use the beard oil prior to using a blow dryer (on heat setting). Otherwise it can dry out your beard, which makes it look brittle and less dense.🧔🏻♂️
yes sir exactly! Using oil first is an essential step to hydrating the skin and hair before using the blow dryer 🤘
Short & concise. I dig it.
I have an 18 inch all white beard. This video is the correct way to straighten your beard without doing damage that using a heated hair straightener can cause. Blow dry on medium heat and then cold air. Result....straight beard and no heat damage!
👏👏👏👏💯
Hey dusty my brother. Great video bro
Awesome video brother! Live Bearded is the ONLY way to go!
Great video brother. Can you just explain about the heat settings, high / low and cool shot? Which one or what sequence do you use the 3. Thank you.
I get conflicting opinions about oil before blow-dry and such. All the opinions I see are from guys who have great beards! Which makes it tough to know what's correct and what not. Guess I'll try both and see what works for me
Typically, I don't use oil because at high heat it tends to cook and break down a bit. I use a little water instead, it works wonders for me and avoids any damage!
it is already straight, use a dude with a curly beard
This is how I do my beard I use beard wash, or a just wet it , towel, dry it where it damn comb it out then I proceed with the beard oil wait five minutes then I blow dry it then after that I use the beard butter and style it that every morning I do this
Same here brother, solid routine!
What's the best temperature of the blow dryer, cool, medium as hot makes the hairs fluffy
If your goal is to straighten the beard hairs, you're going to need heat. You want to aim that blow dryer downwards against the beard while you comb, so you'll want medium-high heat while you do that! Cold won't help with straightening at all!
Your beard is already straight !!
Great video brother what’s that brush you use want to grab one
Nice vid brother. how can I avoid having the line caused by the mask!!! and how often I should dry my beard with the Blow Dryer? FYI i have curly hair.
Mask beard is never fun, I use the blow dryer daily in my routine after I put in the butter. If you us our products you can just come the beard out every time you take your mask off and be good!
Oil before heat
Oil before heat is no bueno. The oil is a great conductor for heat. The oil will lock in the heat and allow it to travel up the hair potentially damaging your follicles. I would not recommend oil before you apply heat. This routine is solid. No dryness for spilt ends. As long as you follow this routine you will have a super soft and healthy mane!

That's weird. I've always heard oil then wait 5 to 10 minutes then blow dry Always.
Heatshield sprays are literally argon oil meant to be used before blow drying to prevent hair damage. Guess it all depends on the oil used. But yes I typically do not like using my beard oil before the blow dry. It also changes the scent cause it literally burns it
what brush are you using? it looks epic dude..
Just a simple roller brush from walmart!

What about beard butter before blowdrying ?
@@dustystutler7513 I’m not convinced. Others recommend it for protection, so I’m unsure. Do we have any evidence
@@Swectorioussame, I'll stick w Dan C.
Looks good!
Looking good Dusty.
What is the brush you use in this video?
Great beard 👍
What brush is that?
Not sure what Brush he used for this my friend!
My beard is impossible to groom.. still have pubes, waves and curls all over no matter what I do... I have about 2.5 inches of growth... absolutely NOTHING works, I've tried so many different methods
I followed your same method and a beard still wants to curl at the bottom of the cheek bone
It may take some time to train it brother, I would be patient and see what happens after a few weeks of consistency!
@@livebearded I hear that after I get out of the hot shower I put beard oil in and then I use a heat straightening brush sometimes I’ll do it twice a day I’ll just stay at it
Here is where the bearded lose me... Y'all put more products into your beards than women do in their hair. Sack up fellas. 🤦♂️
How's your beard looking?
@@MrAustinH like a beard. I wash it with head and shoulders and keep it trimmed, I'm not saying putting some baby oil in it now and then is wrong, just saying that men are buying massive amounts of "special creams and ointments" for their beards, it puts a woman's hair care products to shame.... Men ain't men anymore.
Lmao never heard a more insecure man. "Oh no, women use products so if I do the same I may become a woman!" 🤣
You’ll understand what you grow one…😂
