Thunderhill East 3-Mile Track - 3 Good Laps - 22-10-10 FTD B-Group S04

Final track day of the year at Thunderhill East 3-Mile track. It was a beautiful, warm late summer day. Track temperatures were toasty enough to give us all good grip and good confidence. For hard-working B-Group, an excellent end to the Thunderhill season on the faster East-side track. Riding with the faster, more consistent riders in B-Group has really solidified my confidence to try new approaches and just go for it, in terms of an advanced pace. In this session, I tried to keep my laps smooth and focused, with deliberate choice and decisions about when to make changes and where to learn how to improve, by observation. That attention to detail was enough to close the year out with some new personal-best lap times.
At the beginning of the year, I set myself 2 goals. but I missed them both this year:
1) Lapping at 2:20 i.e. at 140 S [My best shot was off by an agonizing 1.1 s
2) Hitting 225 km.h
There's always next year.
