      What on earth is that supposed to mean? 'Not without its fundamental issues'? As an academic historian myself, I sincerely doubt whether this person has even picked up Keith Thomas's book, let alone read it.

      I remember how happy I was when I was able to afford a paperback copy of the book in 1995 at the University of the Philippines bookstore.
