- Demonstrates the effectiveness of cleaning a cloth boat cover with the Ultra One G5 cleaner. The cover was dirty with mold and dirt from being out all summer. The part that was cleaned looked like new.

As someone who has cleaned a TON of boat canvas. Id suggest being VERY careful using a pressure washer. It can create "burns" in the fabric if the pressure gets too close. It basically cuts the threads in the fabric and you can definitely see them when its dry.

This is a valid point. Esp with older covers, point-blank pressure washing can not only cut right into it, but leave streaks/marks in cover. Note to anyone reading/researching this: it’s worth being especially careful near the button snaps, this portion of the canvas is usually bit more stretched over time from connection point, and fabric can be a little weaker in this areas.
Have seen great results though with pressure washer: foam gun attachment to pre-soak, and using rotary tip (turbo nozzle) at medium distance makes short work of cleaning cover for maintenance cleaning. Though my 4000psi pressure washer would easily handle the task, I just use my little 1000psi electric one for cover and works great. For stubborn spots, just do those by hand.

Dwight, just purchased a gallon to clean my cover, do i need to dilute the product with water when using the pump sprayer? Or just use it straight? Thanks!
I need to know, what are those types of stains on the cover? My pontoon cover has the same crap on it and I dont know what to call it. Are those white spots mildew? Obviously I know the brown parts are dirt. Im just trying to figure this out so I know what kind of cleaner I need to get.
Yes most likely mold spores starting not always Black at first
Does the mold take off the waterproofing of the cover?

How are you I would try that first next time before putting a chemical on it that is going a week in the fibers in the fabric and cause it to rip the first time is pulled tight or drags across something sharp after dealing with these chemicals no matter how much you rent it out that's the reason why people's boat seats are ripping where the vinyl is sewn together because they constantly want to use mold and mildew remover and Clorox because they don't want to put any elbow grease with a magic eraser and just plain old water that has the same results.

With that much pressure washing you don't need the soap
