Hmmm... beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I may be rising sixty and only started riding horses four years ago but this is special. I thought "modern" dressage was wonderful but as others have said, to see horses so relaxed and not behind the vertical is very pleasing. Not to mention that much of the performance is done in collection... Beautifully choreographed and executed and a joy to watch. Could any one put such a performance together today?
Thank you so much for posting this. I saw this video back in the 80s when we were in Germany. I believe the 5th horse is Rubin who we bought from Jo Hinneman. not long after this video was made. It's not easy to get 12 Gran Prix horses together to practice a quadrille!! And this one is quite long
