Love her voice and aesthetic and sound and just her entire vibe. Its old country meets punk maybe...? Like a country street kid if anyone's picking up what im putting down. Whatever it is I love it! Gives me goosebumps every single time. I can not wait to someday see her live. Im in the east coast and too broke to travel post baby, divorce and pandemic. But its on my bucket list and I'll make it happen no matter what ive got to do. Sierra inspired me to pixk up my own guitar after almost 2 years of not touching it and I will forever be grateful to her for that. It all started with "Hey me hey mama" which i then sent round to my entire family and friend group and they fell in love with her too! It restores my faith in our generation that music like this IS INFACT STILL BEING MADE!
I believe I know what you're getting at, because she affects me in a like way. She's wonderful with her band, but it happens to me more often when it's just her and her guitar. It begins at the heart and moves up to my head and it all starts to vibrate. A feeling of joyousness so overwhelming that I start to cry, and then begin to laugh at that ridiculousness. I never imagined a joyous, crying, laugh to be possible. If I pulled that one at one of her concerts, I'd be locked up for sure.
She's an absolute treasure. I keep expecting to see her take off as the next big thing in country. Hard to believe the lame stream establishment of country music hasn't got a wiff of her yet.
I think this IS the mainstream, now. The legacy music industry is a dinosaur, and ruins great talent like Sierra. I don’t want to see her chewed up and spit out like old bubble gum.
Hell no. She is anti mainstream. This is traditional old times county. Think Hank Williams Sr. NOT junior, yuck. They are not into septum piercings in mainstream. Thank God. Colter Wall n Tyler Childers etc will never ever cave and go into crap modern country!!!! That isn't even country at all! This is Rooooots!
I hope the hooting hollering a holes aren't there so you can actually hear the music and not them. I appreciate the exuberance but have some consideration for the other people who didn't pay to hear you hoot and holler.
Yep, I do believe that's true. She can sing well with her musicianship too.. Hope she doesn't catch a tangent & spin out of control or off - direction...
Just saw this remarkable woman and her outstanding band in Felton Ca. a couple nights ago, we had a great time! Very fun to see and especially hear them play!!! 😊☮️
Me and my friends ,got up and danced like madmen . we're in a Scottish keiley band ,this is our kind of music, go on girl keep up the the guid sounds , ol the best Lassie from Bonny Scotland xx
I've been trying to get to a show for 3 years. My event schedule either keeps me thousands of miles away, or such a tight timeframe I can't get there. At one point I was close and gifted tickets to a new friend that went and loved the show. Time to check the fall tour schedule.
May I express an opinion? With your permission, please? This curveball, not-a-rhyme bit of lyrics : "...for a garden needs sunshine, a garden needs rain, but my tears are too salty to water the garden..." awfully eloquent. Put your own adjective of high praise in this space: ____________ . Sierra Ferre!! ! btw She seems to always bring a big spirit for her live audiences; she's especially radiant in this video. I''m talkin' 'bout Sierra Ferre!! ! Put the songbird qualities in with the songwriter qualities omg.
What an amazing unique talent, but at the same time her music is old, in a good way. I mean no disrespect to anyone, only respect, but could she be Hank Williams reincarnated? Listening to Sierra sing and play brings happy tears to my eyes! Authentic, real and beautiful. She’s doing a fine job standing on the shoulders of giants making her way to becoming a giant herself!
I think Sierra knows that there are people who are too broke and too far away to go see her shows and she gives her love. ... Buying her Records would Help her too.
Nick, That song reminds me of my Grandmother Nellie Mack, and Methodist hymns like I told Sierra. And I am sure that lady would have washed your mouth out. Although you dig the music
I know exactly what you mean, but it's also apparent to me that she loved it, and absorbed that energy and gave it right back to them. That woman is a powerful artist. Nothing was going to put her off her game that night.
bro whoever that is trynna keep a beat in the crowd does not have an single ounce of rhythm in their body, holy fuck. it would be so hard to play w/ somebody doing that right next to you.
I had the same reaction when I first started watching, but after 30 seconds I was so captivated by the power of her song and presence that I forgot all about it until I read your comment!

she just has it!!
God bless her (& you, Jess)

@@freddyfedora8544I always advise take hankies to her shows. Most vocally moving.
@@johnmurray2214 Keeping them handy at home works, too.
Exactly.
...been following her for a couple years now. She'll be the next Dolly Parton. So much talent for a youngin!
Mountain music is back!!!
I've been around a long time but I've never had my soul stirred like the way Sierra Ferrell can
Love her so much. Great musicians too!
She's an absolute treasure. I keep expecting to see her take off as the next big thing in country. Hard to believe the lame stream establishment of country music hasn't got a wiff of her yet.

bro country 🤮
Oh, they know about Miss Ferrell. I'm sure she wants nothing to do with them.
@@zedhead2864 You're damn skippy they do, and she doesn't....

She has an amazing voice. Left all the boys howlin!!
Good job girl
She’s picked up a fiddle !!!!!! 😍
Sierra's fiddle is the new Aladdin's lantern - she draws her bow back and forth on it and Josie Toney pops out!
damn she is mesmerizing. i can't wait to see her live
Saw her live last week. Holy hell. Never seen anyone this good live.
Where’d you buy tickets
I hope the hooting hollering a holes aren't there so you can actually hear the music and not them. I appreciate the exuberance but have some consideration for the other people who didn't pay to hear you hoot and holler.
That woman can damn sure sing!
Yep, I do believe that's true. She can sing well with her musicianship too.. Hope she doesn't catch a tangent & spin out of control or off - direction...
I love that woman so much. She really is a national treasure.
Dude. The garden song is my favorite right now. It's rugged and raw. And got so much soul. Hey, Sierra! Kiss my hat! ❤️
Her voice is as haunting as Hank Williams in her first song.
I don't think I could love her any more than I love her now. Gosh.
Hey mama, where you B.E.E.N?...you know that we sing that verse Sierra @ the Garden...( mama and papa)...
I wasn't awake , but the white dove she was...
Lol goodness
That's why I was slew footed this morning...( verse)..
I was walking slew footed...and here we are Sierra.....
Pure talent right here folks , this is real country
current and future of modern country music....awesome talent
But my tears are too salty, for the garden today...
She performed fox hunt again last night and it's incredible to see how much she improved at the fiddle, absolutely captivating performance
She's such a natural talent.

Shes such a doll 😩🔥

Still listening to this daily. Thank you!!
Your voice is a rare gem, smashed it out of the park! listening from Australia.
I want to see her at the Gympie Muster
Looking forward to seeing her in London next month.
I'm not sure what I am more captivated by, her voice or her beauty;
Stunning.
Adorable and badass at the same time! Amazing!

Absolutely electric. She's a bad mama Jamma
"I got a woman with a head like a rock. Wish I had a woman who could make my knees knock". John Prine

She plays to fiddle too. Such a talented lady!

Every time I see this woman she is different. Not sure I've seen her play a fiddle before.
Genius.
Awesome video thanks for the upload 💯🤙 go Sierra I'm going to upload the ones I have from SF next week

Not a mention in the comments about the band. Good job by all ......

SHES COMING BACK TO PHOENIX IN APRIL
She certainly has an excess of cool, doesn't she? Damn.

Man I love her she is the no b******* real f****** deal
I look forward to seeing more new releases! I posted these 2 new songs from the OKC show 2/19/22
Go see her but don’t video her on your cell phone - there’s plenty of those already out there - immerse yourself and totally enjoy every single moment
Truly the best advice....she's a show!!
I think Sierra knows that there are people who are too broke and too far away to go see her shows and she gives her love. ... Buying her Records would Help her too.

Songs called ??
danm white thunderbirds
I just love how people come out to the smoking section saying I just seen her on my you tube but I love hr more than you and really get aggressive
Love it all except the nose ring… original creation works fine, no need to embellish . Sing the song 🎉❤
What do all those hyenas think they are bringing to the party? Save you howling until the song is over, oafs.
I know exactly what you mean, but it's also apparent to me that she loved it, and absorbed that energy and gave it right back to them. That woman is a powerful artist. Nothing was going to put her off her game that night.
Iris
It is good to be Demented.
Seems like some people came to hear themselves

But', she's sumfin else'
Someone tell the drunks in the background to shut up Sierra is amazing
Mountain songbird
I absolutely love her guitar pickin'........but not the nose ring.
Such a ring is to express rebellion, not to invite attraction. So she succeeded even there. Damn, woman!
I had the same reaction when I first started watching, but after 30 seconds I was so captivated by the power of her song and presence that I forgot all about it until I read your comment!
she's got snot coming out of her nose' 🤔
Forgot to twist the booger valve shut before getting on stage. She's still lovely though.
she's a 21st century Kitty Wells
Amazing
Wow!
