I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one fussing with fabrics. Many designers make it look like everything is always peachy. I get frustrated with my fabric choices often. I like the rich aunty vibes one the best, but I'd probably wear all three.
Woo I'd like to see the day where everything goes peachy in a project. I haven't encountered that yet. At the bare minimum, a seam will be taken out and redone. Thanks, I think the rich aunty has the most character to it, maybe because of the print. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for watching and your welcome. I actually don’t like turtlenecks because I feel like I’m being suffocated through the day but I learned by making these that they’re just too tight. These ones don’t choke me. 😂
Thank you. It definitely does take patience because you just want the thing done already. ...and sometimes machines go haywire but the end result of putting it on and it coming out right is a dope feeling.
I love turtlenecks & have been wanting to get into a new hobby. I might have to take up sewing (I donno if mine will come out this nice lol). I really like that first material!
Lol if you do get into sewing, definitely tasks your time with it. A turtle neck was actually one of the first items I made myself when I got into sewing back in high school. It’s beginner friendly. Buying a sewing pattern would be a lot easier than making one from scratch though lok
Thank you. Same, I actually usually hate turtle necks because I feel restricted and like I’m being chocked but after making these, I think it’s because I have a thicker neck for store bought sizes. These neck aren’t as tight and They didn’t bother me.
You make this look so easy but I KNOW it’s not. I wouldn’t have a turtle neck it would be a totally different animal lol but such a gorgeous fabric choice!
Hahahaha no not a totally different animal?! Good one. 😂. I actually had a talk w/ my man about it being easy that morning. He asked me what I was making and I told him “just a turtleneck” and he said, “you’re saying ‘just’ as if it’s easy.” That’s not how I meant it when I said it but it did remind me that what’s easy for me isn’t easy for everyone else. Also...I did spend an hour on 1 hem...so don’t let this 10 minute video full you lol

This is gorgeous. I haven’t worn a turtleneck in a while, but this is the perfect season for them. I may try this
Thank you. It is the perfect season. They’re warm and comfortable and great for feeling like you’re dressing up while at home. 🥴
Recently ordered some turtle necks. Love them, thank you for sharing 😍
I’ve come to respect them a little more after doing these lol. They make you look more put together even though it’s basically a t-shirt.
You did a really good job on this.
Thank you. Appreciate it. Thanks for watching.
U def are super knowledgeable! I feel like i could follow your instructions.
