You have a wonderful way of explaining things. I had all but given up on Scrivener until you made it click in your "Getting Started with Scrivener" video. Thanks again.
I really appreciate your videos. I just finished a full rough draft of one of my stories and I'm going to get scrivener and finish it on there. I learned a lot from your channel, keep up the good work!
Loved this. I've started using Scrivner and I love it so much. I didn't know about the name generator, so I'm glad to have that tool with me now, since I'm always looking for specific names with specific meanings
Up to now you've free-written your character and world descriptions. Did you know and cover the templates of those aspects that come with Scrivener? In the templates section at the bottom left, you pick a template, copy it and place it in the appropriate section. I use Abbie Emmons' novel template with some mods so the templates are different from the ones that come with Scrivener.
Okay, this is the stupidest little thing, but I keep trying to use split screen horizontal and I hate it and I never realized I could do it vertically. Thanks!
Hi Alexa! I recently downloaded Scrivener, but I am unable to use it due to overtyping! My text won't drop down. Instead it just goes back to the front of the first line and overtypes it. I cannot figure out how to fix it. Please help?
In Scrivener, I only know how to see the word count for a scene or the entire manuscript. How do I see the word count for a chapter, or an arc? (I have multiple scenes on each chapters) (I only heard of the 'compile' process to see word counts for chapters, but I want an easier method to view it repeatedly)
I’m blind in one eye and blind-ish in the other…was wondering if Scrivener can accommodate bigger font sizes and/or zooming in. For reference, I usually work in Word in about size 20 font, or zoomed in to equivalent display.
I love scrivener, but I am writing in German and the dictionary doesn’t include a lot of words I am using and marks them as mistakes (or I am just very bad with grammar). Does anyone have a similar problem and any tips?
Hi there, loving your channel I had a question about the split screen feature. I want to edit my novel in split screen, making changes to the second side, and keeping the original intact. When I click split-screen, it automatically copies my scene into the second screen, and when I attempt to make changes to the second side, it alters the original version as well. Do you know how to keep this from happening? Thanks so much!
How do you go back to where you were just before doing something when you make a mistake and want to start over from where you just began without having to uninstall Scriveners and reinstall?

The more videos I watch on Scrivener the more I realize this just might be the best tool for me to finish my projects.

This was wonderful, thank you Alexa! (They should sponsor you.)

Scrivener is cool, but my biggest issue with it is lack of Undo options.
I urge you to read the whole of the manual. There are some real beaut features.

You can select everything you want to see and the combined word count will show up in the footer bar.
@@auroramartell Thanks!

I love your on-screen demos. Am I too much of a basic bitch if I ask for one on Word?
Sorry, I just saw you've already got a Word demo ♥
Name generator is awesome for people who don't want baby stuff advertised at them
Quite the little cutie...
Is "advanced basics" an oxymoron? 😉
Your books are terrible
Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to say something nasty and hurt somebody. Nice.
@@sbwyo1966 Thank YOU for writing this comment, you have made my day! Also, don't worry, she's a redhead, she won't be hurt!
