Why would you want to go through wada ? With all of the problems with them. Like jack up bids so they can control the market.
Nail polish remover works really well in removing sticky labels.. obviously on plastic it works great but on laminated cardboard you have to be very careful in case you rub too hard..

i remember all my sealed n64 came with a red nintendo strip, are those re sealed maybe?
The tape on the game may have come from the retail store. I used to work at a cd store that would put tape on some high-priced or high-theft items. Or if the original shrink-wrap got broken.

Would be super cool to see a video from you guys going over the whole " What are the signs that tell you a game is worth grading". I remember when i worked at Amazon's trade in program, the video game department would see mutiple SEALED Gameboys and other consoles and have to break the seal and take out the corroded batteries and sell them as used.

You guys should start a virtual library (save a picture)of every game you have ever owned, then even after selling it you have a memory of the collection as a whole! And if you still don't own it you can say you did at one time!! If you have it on your site we can follow along as well!

When you buy a collection like this after you keep what you want do you reach out to other collectors like retro Rick or retro Wolf etc.... before selling them on eBay or whatnot

5% one. I’m just wondering, is the sealed/graded market really that interesting? Do those games really sell easy? Certainly WATA graded games, here in Europe WATA doesn’t have a good name.
Vga doesn’t cost $150
It’s $90 and if any of those did 90 or even 85+ they are worth more than any wata grade you received.
I was interested in a bunch of these till I saw the grades. Fire damaged 9.8’s are fun though.
This is some pretty wild stuff. My biggest suprises were Knuckles Caotix, Atari Collection for PSP, Doom for Jaguar, The Virtual Boy games. These retro gamer collectors take this very seriously ! Over $400 for the worst version of Doom !! (sealed, Of Course) Yikes...
I've always wondered with graded games and cards if you opened the case and sent them back how much different the grade would be. Obviously, that's not cost-effective.

I do question why Dwight didn't do a heap of grading when he was no doubt watching the boom in game sales in the covid era knowing he had all these sealed gems in his basement. Yeah I hate grading and think it’s stupid. You could easily buy something to put collectibles in to protect the condition. The only reason to grade is to add imaginary value for resale based on a random grader’s opinion. Hoping grading prices plummet and grading slowly dies but that’s a long shot unfortunately.
