This is a long one, but hopefully it shows just a glimpse of what's always going on in the background of the business, some our thoughts, and our processes! Also, let us know if you want more long-form videos like this!
5% and always looking forward to more content! As a fellow reseller I greatly appreciate all that you offer, I've learned a lot watching your videos and I'm always amazed by your finds!
5% and thanks so much for the deep dive I like the long form content sprinkled in there. What a crazy blessing of a collection! Thanks for the awesome content and all the work that was put in on the back end Skylar and Dave!! God bless everyone!!!
I love seeing all these rare games, not a huge fan of the grading games thing, but I understand for amazing pieces like these, awesome video as always!
Hi Chase, I live in the Uk and love your videos but I miss out on the full journey because I cant see the wattnott sales so could you do a live youtube show the same time as the wattnott auction thanks Mystery.
love the continuing show, it pays to know your fellow graders and be up on what company gives you the best value for the price just sensible business practices. even tho you are looking for profit your advice and common sense approach always makes your videos fun and good watching.
5% 😉 It s amazing the way you explain all your ways to build up your company. And most important in my eyes is that you are so genuine and good towards the different people you work with in garage sales, collector's sale, etc. Last but not least, you can find the right people to grow your team. Congrats! Cheers from Cambodia
5%! Absolutely love watching your videos. So informative and truly educational. I’ve learnt so much from you guys and a complete inspiration. continue to do amazing things!
5% watched the entire thing n loved it all . Pure 🔥 on all your sales, Graded games sold items . Still curious on your full buy in from the collector. But, you guys are amazing n having a great business and helping the community.
Love these videos and would love to watch the full story of this and learn. What’s spent, what’s time and hours, what’s made, and is their profit. Just love watching this stuff
Love this channel, you guys are awesome and help us other resalers out tremendously. Can't thank y'all enough. We the community need some catrp patches so we can represent the crew I know I'd buy them if y'all made them.
Your videos easily cause me to hit the 5% everytime. I can't believe how some of the cardboard cased games are hitting A++. That is incredible. Happy for you guys!
Mad respect to you guys, always enjoy all of your videos on each channel. I sell some on the side and it’s something I love doing but it can get monotonous. One thing you guys always help me remember is to keep it light and fun when you can. Keep pumping out these awesome videos fellas!
5% ! Love the vids boys! Im very familar with selling games not as familar with the grading aspect. Would be super cool to see a video from you guys going over the whole " What are the signs that tell you a game is worth grading". Ive come across a few sealed games( low buy cost) but dont know if they were re sealed. Anyways! Thanks again loved the longform vid
Nail polish remover works really well in removing sticky labels.. obviously on plastic it works great but on laminated cardboard you have to be very careful in case you rub too hard..
The tape on the game may have come from the retail store. I used to work at a cd store that would put tape on some high-priced or high-theft items. Or if the original shrink-wrap got broken.
I remember when i worked at Amazon's trade in program, the video game department would see mutiple SEALED Gameboys and other consoles and have to break the seal and take out the corroded batteries and sell them as used.
You guys should start a virtual library (save a picture)of every game you have ever owned, then even after selling it you have a memory of the collection as a whole! And if you still don't own it you can say you did at one time!! If you have it on your site we can follow along as well!
Old guy question, but can you get insurance policy to cover the value of this collection? In case something happened to the barn? I know shoe collectors have issues getting the true value insured but I never thought about a game collection.
Shoes are different. An Insurance policy should cover the ACV (actual cash value) of the product. Meaning the actual cost to replace the game. The price would be the worth of the game, not the cost of a basic game. Shoes can be looked at differently as most would consider them shoes, not a collector piece.
I do question why Dwight didn't do a heap of grading when he was no doubt watching the boom in game sales in the covid era knowing he had all these sealed gems in his basement. I bet his kinda glad he didn't after Karl's expose on wata. Regardless I'm glad you got all these sweet gems sealed up tight and wish you all the luck in selling them to grateful collectors. Keep up the great work guys. Love all the vids. 5%
5% every upload. I think a lot of us would like to see more of how the grading process works. If you could connect with one of the grading companies and show the process, or at least show off more of the notes and why, it would make a great video.
5% one. I’m just wondering, is the sealed/graded market really that interesting? Do those games really sell easy? Certainly WATA graded games, here in Europe WATA doesn’t have a good name.
This is some pretty wild stuff. My biggest suprises were Knuckles Caotix, Atari Collection for PSP, Doom for Jaguar, The Virtual Boy games. These retro gamer collectors take this very seriously ! Over $400 for the worst version of Doom !! (sealed, Of Course) Yikes...
I believe that they would BUT only if it INCREASED the value & asking price. They wouldn't bother, just for the sake of having completeness. In some instances, finding JUST the original game manual (alone) is difficult if not impossible. To them they make their money on the sale. Collectors are their customers. If something is missing or not sealed they take the loss and be happy with just that. Then move on to the next customer.
When you buy a collection like this after you keep what you want do you reach out to other collectors like retro Rick or retro Wolf etc.... before selling them on eBay or whatnot
This is a long one, but hopefully it shows just a glimpse of what's always going on in the background of the business, some our thoughts, and our processes! Also, let us know if you want more long-form videos like this!
Appreciate the long form video, it's packed full of information and honestly just fun to listen to and watch.
Didn’t the guy you bought it from in the main channel say that you only paid $700 for this? (Why do you guys keep saying a high buy cost?)
@@MitchellPSmith-hl9fu they paid 700 for extra stuff not originally included in the lot
Love the long vids as means i don't miss any info if told over three vids x
I personally prefer the longer-form videos. You guys are awesome. Best of luck on selling off this beautiful collection.
5%! Glad you guys are taking your time on this amazing collection. Can't wait to see what the final numbers on sales are.
I’d like to see the final profit (net of all fees) on the $100,000 collection.
I'm glad you record this, living vicariously through you on this one
5%!! Great video - I was drooling over alot of those games and systems - can't wait to see more :)

I’m the 5% as always. Gotta love the collection. Not a fan of grading but with this sealed collection it seems to make sense. That Jack Bros 😮

That was super exciting!
5% Love this content so much!!
5% Loving these videos! You've got a great team there!
You should have did pedigree status on this collection with CGC. They would grade and label it from this particular collection.
Love the longer videos- keep up the good work guys👌
5% every time! You guys make great content and I’m always looking forward to seeing the next project.
5%. Pretty sure I bought some of the 32X games and a few others on the Whatnot show you sold some of this collection on. Great Job as usual!!

Nail polish remover works really well in removing sticky labels.. obviously on plastic it works great but on laminated cardboard you have to be very careful in case you rub too hard..

End result a museum ... hopefully
Woot one of the 5%! Love the longer videos guys!
WATA or CGC needs to have y’all for a factory tour showing the process, etc..
Would make for an interesting video.
The tape on the game may have come from the retail store. I used to work at a cd store that would put tape on some high-priced or high-theft items. Or if the original shrink-wrap got broken.
Nice to be one of the 5%!
5%er. Enjoyed this run. What an amazing collection.
5% Very cool to see. congrats on the good return. great grades
Always in the 5%! Great job! 👏👏👏
5% Awesome video, nostalgia hitting hard
5% Crazy to see this volume of stuff in that condition!
Those alien hominids stickers are hard to remove. There’s most likely an anti theft magnetic strip behind it
Gotta respect Al Pal for the Dave Ramsey podcast in the background - learning to make that money lol
One of the 5%!! Enjoyed early dinner with a good video.
5% keep marking these once in a life time deals the content is great
Show us the full process on how to properly grade video games
I remember when i worked at Amazon's trade in program, the video game department would see mutiple SEALED Gameboys and other consoles and have to break the seal and take out the corroded batteries and sell them as used.
Nice outfit, Chase! Should’ve wore yellow socks with blue borders too! 😅😘
i remember all my sealed n64 came with a red nintendo strip, are those re sealed maybe?
If sealed blackthrones are going for less than 800, it makes zero sense to pay 500 for an opened one.
5%'er!! Great content, keep it up!
5% and congrats to AL Pal being a Dad!
Five Percent. Thanks for the video gents!
5% - enjoyed the video...what an awesome collection.
5%, always 🔥 Awesome content

Can you do a video of you prepping the games for grading and the steps that needed before sending them off
5% right here Brotha! 🙌🏻
5%. Of course. I don’t skip on Chase or CATRP videos. (Except for the ad bits). Bartledo
5% from Wigan UK. Taco Bell just opened in our town but i just can't get the accent right the way Thayne and Chase do it 😂
How often do you keep inventory for the holiday rush??
Do you ever sit on it knowing it may go up in the coming months??
Old guy question, but can you get insurance policy to cover the value of this collection? In case something happened to the barn? I know shoe collectors have issues getting the true value insured but I never thought about a game collection.

5%. Love this collection. Did I miss the buy cost or was it not said?
5%!! Great video!
is it possible to show up to your game barn and buy from you directly
I say either take em to gamestop or sell them however you want but continue the $10 thrift challenge
I do question why Dwight didn't do a heap of grading when he was no doubt watching the boom in game sales in the covid era knowing he had all these sealed gems in his basement. When will you be selling sealed n64 games and sealed GameCube games either on whatnot or on your eBay store..?
5% every upload. I think a lot of us would like to see more of how the grading process works. If you could connect with one of the grading companies and show the process, or at least show off more of the notes and why, it would make a great video.
What’s up with the A++ or A+ and it gets a 9.2?
please show all the math on the purchase, and the sales!!!!!!!!!! so interesting!
Love seeing when you get museum quality collections pieces. 5%
I want that Jack Bros... In that condition I'd easily pay $1500 - $2000. NVM you graded it sooo now it's probably more than I'd be willing to pay.
I am the 5%! Awesome video

5% one. I’m just wondering, is the sealed/graded market really that interesting? Do those games really sell easy? Certainly WATA graded games, here in Europe WATA doesn’t have a good name.
Hey guys can you look at this? Look at that!
5 percent. great video and im not interested in video games or resale
VERY interested in purchasing the Katamari Damacy if its still available !
%5 love your videos man!
For games like the N64 Worms Armageddon without the manual, would you buy the manual separately to complete it?
I believe that they would BUT only if it INCREASED the value & asking price. They wouldn't bother, just for the sake of having completeness. In some instances, finding JUST the original game manual (alone) is difficult if not impossible. To them they make their money on the sale. Collectors are their customers. If something is missing or not sealed they take the loss and be happy with just that. Then move on to the next customer.
Well, leave it shrink wrapped to be putting on a shelf even if you want to unwrapped it soon.
When you buy a collection like this after you keep what you want do you reach out to other collectors like retro Rick or retro Wolf etc.... before selling them on eBay or whatnot
