    In this video interview, Dr Mazizi also discusses the ARC’s ongoing research into bird nutrition, with a particular emphasis on feed efficiency. He elaborates on what constitutes a healthy bird, the basic requirements to raise productive chickens, and how nutrition relates to this. He also stresses the importance of biosecurity from a production point of view, as well as how communal or small-scale farmers can ensure the health of their birds.
