Exactly the video I was looking for , I couldn’t work out how to smoothly circle around an area and the camera target was what I needed to input. Thanks for the info fella
Congrats again team, i'm on the floor with mind blown energy, superb features - truly well done. My Notes: 0:45 right click set camera target, 1:50 move camera target 5:20 smooth _ linear unlink, 5:58 camera angles NSEW, 6:35 ! caution alert, 7:30 Influence from 0 to 100% blending ..
Very cool! An idea: use this to generate a control path for a drone (which would be awesome) and you could duplicate the result in real life and compare side-by-side.
Amazing idea. You can create drone paths in the DJI Fly software, but it's super basic compared to this. Would be so cool if we could import from GES. Maybe it's possible....
"Camera Target" and "Camera Position" are two different things! Mind ... blown ... and "Camera Rotation" is different than "Camera Position"! I feel like Doc Brown pacing and yelling "1.21 gigawatts!"
This is an extremely powerful tool and I can't believe about the video being 4 years old and me not knowing about it before. Very well explained, btw! 🙌
@@dogger2727 It's still very interesting. But expect to have a "learning curve". Sometimes I struggle with keyframes and angles and decide to start over. Have fun and success! 👋😉👍
This really did help a lot! Thank you! You have to get used to the fact that camera rotation is overwritten by the cam target :-) The effect setting is good to switch it off temporarily. Well done!
Why the camera with target make a 180 twist, if you try to zoom from europe view, for example, to your place of interest? And you cannot correct it at all. Even if you still trying to keep north-to-top orientation.
Congratulations to the the Google Earth Studio team. Excellent that you can control the camera focal length. Ditto for the ability to save cloud layer in its original timeframe... this will be very useful. Cannot wait to try out the new GE Studio tool. Wondering: (1) Can it export KML/KMZ to GE Earth Pro? (2) Does this GE Studio support gpx tracks import?
Sorry to be off topic but does someone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the login password. I appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Lyle Pedro thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I think a lot of things have changed since this video was made. For example if the keyframe is set, it doesn't seem possible to move the target as shown.
Note: if you Set Target and you don't get a split screen with the Top view and the Camera view side-by-side, go to the View menu and select Multi-View > 2 Viewports.
Something strange happened yesterday. Once I set the camera target and keyframe, I can no longer drag and move the camera target icon and camera icon as seen in this tutorial. Only thing I can move seems to be Camera Rotation (even though the camera target is set). Probably I messed something up accidentally. Can someone can help me to correct this?
at 08:09 what if I want to cancel the camera target and navigate the camera freely again, I did this here trying to add a keyframe that disable the camera target, however the camera pan/tilt value change at once that make the preview change at once over a frame which doesn't look good, do you have a solution for this? thank you.
ola tudo bem, gravei um passeio pelo rio de janeiro, e criou uma linha, gostaria de colocar uma camera nessa linha para fazer o trajeto, como um drone, teria como ? poderia explicar ? obrigado.

Very good and useful for short clip of a Google Earth Studio video. Making an animated clip. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome to the new Google Earth earthtopomaps.com/ Thanks for watching!
Very useful combination with google maps...much more precise animation can be made.

I just made beautiful magic in Google Earth Studio ... in just a minute or two ... because of this video ... after struggling all day. Thank you.
Excellent and very helpful tutorial. I'm already having great fun with Google Earth Studio!
GOOGLE EARTH STUDIO IS THE BEST

Hello. Could you tell.? installed the program. everything works except the earth itself. Not active and in gray. What can be done?

Great tutorial. One funny thing: why would he say 'command click' and not control? Or would google workers actually use apple computers? :) haha
Can camera angles and targets be set in Google Earth, or do I need Google Earth Studio?
definitely will try this one... Amazing
Thanks a lot
1:30 When I grab the camera, it's the map that moves not the camera. Is there a setting I need to change ?
Excellent
Super awesome!!!💯
