And to celebrate, we wanted to share with you THE answer, the answer to the universe and everything.

I am the proudest mom because he is the kindest, sweetest, most wonderful guy I have ever met. His smile is contagious and his happiness and tenderness make us all better people. Thank you for making me a mommy.

@@AnaLampWoman off topic but having issues with our son’s volume control, saying stuff he shouldn’t, raising voice in public, what are ways you have used to quickly shush the noise in the moment? And methods to teach? My wife rachel is wondering if a very gentle hand over the mouth is ok to use at appropriate times? Have you ever tried it?
@@nickg267 hello Nick, thank you for your question.
I have not put my hand over my sons mouth to quiet them. I will usually will just tell them I need them to be quiet or “please don’t say this or that” (getting down to their level and looking at them in the eyes helps) and if that doesn’t work I will take them out of the room to talk to them again. Sometimes they get loud because they are just playing and getting excited and sometimes they are just trying to get my attention, walking away and talking to them gives them the chance to tell me what they need. And I must admit, I have used a bribe or two to get them to listen… lol “if you let mommy finish this conversation without interrupting, I will give you a gummy when we get home” 🤪 haha sometimes you gotta do what you need to do.

@@AnaLampWoman this is Rachel, thanks! Great ideas, especially about the gummy’s. Very helpful. Our son is 3 lol. So regarding hand over the mouth, would you ever do it playfully or jokingly like at the end of the video where your son was making the funny noise? Like a game. Trying to teach him to be quiet while doing it playfully lol
