    I find all the videos are as clear as mud it’s over explained it needs a description of the anatomy and then simply the best place to put the injection I would have struggled if I was taught like this

    This is so helpful. Question: When you do the brow lift I've noticed that a crease forms within that triangle where the muscle is lifting causing a crease above the brow. Is there a way to fix or avoid this?

    If that area is left untreated wouldn’t that area be over working causing a bulging on top of the eyebrow? Everything else is frozen but that area- leaving it to have lines and more wrinkling when the eyebrow naturally moves. I find if I add one unit of Botox right in the middle of the triangular area you drew it helps with that specific issue and then also one unit at the inner corner (directly underneath) of the eyebrow for lift. Those two counter acting one another creating a more softer naturally lifted eyebrow.

    Hi I'm a customer not a practitioner I have hooded eyes and I've had botox a few times for forehead lines but each time I get a brow droop which looks awful.
    I'm not sure where it should be injected as I'm not medically trained but this time I had a surgeon/ consultant do my botox and I've still got brow droop/ heavy brows which makes me look tired ( please help) I'm fed up with paying for expensive treatments that dont work 🙈 where would it need to be injected to put this right??? Thx

    I'm not know if I'm missing this but to create a eye lift you should not injected in the area of the tribe area.you should inject to the left of the triangle? if that is correct I think a lot of people are missing the technique is not to inject over the eye to get the lift. And injecting to the left the triangular line towards the center of the forehead will give the lift.so basically there is no injection spot so to speak to lift the eye. You should just avoid doing in the triangular. Please let me know if this is the correct understanding

    Thank you for the video very interesting and love the geometry, makes very good sense. I appreciate that injecting into the supralateral aspect of the orbicularis occuli can increase the risk of ptosis and even inability to close the eye (major problem) but do you ever do this to enhance the lift and if so have you noticed forehead lines within the triangle due to unopposed pull of frontalis? Thanks in advance.

    This is such a great video!! Thank you! The triangle that your talking about that should not be injected is that just referring to the frontalis? ie. The lateral corrugator injections are recommended to still treat even if it falls into the no injection triangle zone correct?

    • @tpearce9320
      @tpearce9320 7 років тому +2

      The focus of this video is deciding where not to inject. The middle part of the forehead medial to the two triangles and above the horizontal line is safe to inject, probably about 8-10 units evenly spread out.

    • @nehashah7093
      @nehashah7093 7 років тому +1

      You drew a box in the middle, why would you not inject there? Is it to allow you still to "lift"?

    • @obmitty1
      @obmitty1 7 років тому +1

      Neha Shah this area of muscle supports the medial brow. Inject here and your risk of a medial brow ptosis increases significantly. Makes you look slightly cross or tired.

    • @violetta_skincare_doc
      @violetta_skincare_doc 5 років тому

      Karrie Glasgow, the trail of the corrugator should not be injected because it will interfere in the lift of the brow.

    I did a treatment and one of the eyebrows lifted very nice but the other other didn't , you say I shouldn't inject within the triangule?

  • @cleona130
    @cleona130 7 років тому +25

    boy is that confusing?! perhaps you should just concentrate on WHERE TO INJECT. I would darken the area Not to be injected or put angular lines through it and brighten the area where you should inject. " No injection" and "Inject here" or something like that. Looks like you have three or four boxes Outside the box or inside the box, below the line or above the line, inside the triangle or outside the triangle. huh?

    • @tpearce9320
      @tpearce9320 7 років тому +5

      Sorry, that's confusing for you, it's aimed at people who have done training with us already, and in that context makes more sense. However, the biggest skill in the forehead is knowing where NOT to inject because of that's what causes all the problems. The space left in the middle of the forehead is safe to inject. I cover markings in detail on my elearning course at Drtimpearce.com.

    • @cleona130
      @cleona130 7 років тому +3

      Yes, that's why I remarked, "it's confusing", non-professionals watching the demonstration may try injecting and get the areas confused. Therefore, it may be prudent to mark areas NOT TO BE INJECTED so it is clearly understood as a courtesy and a caution preventing adverse affects.

I could deal with a mess up on one, but opposite mess ups on both is just too much. I actually have pain in the one that is hanging. I suppose I should have checked the actual dates on my doc's certificates. Argh.

    It is so important to have an MD or nurse do the injections to try and make sure that you don't end up with any unwanted facial drooping 💖

    • @phatmonkey11
      @phatmonkey11 3 роки тому

      I would say a doctor or an intelligent, well trained esthetician. The anatomy I learned in nursing school didn't go in to any in-depth training on facial anatomy. Estheticians are trained specifically on this. In some states they are allowed to inject under a doctor's (so-called) supervision.
