  • In this talk, Bhante discusses Numerical Discourses, the Book of Sixes, no. 55. Here, the monk Sona exhausts himself from striving too vigorously. The Buddha uses the simile of the lute to teach him the middle way of practice. Sona follows the Buddha's advice, attains arahantship, and proclaims the arahant's qualities in verse.
