House idea, has a bunch of portals, hoiks, aether, just a bunch of stuff placed around that makes traveling to individual rooms unnecessarily complicated and difficult.

Wacky house idea: The uninhabitable house
A house that has the essentials, but it keeps trying to kick the player out of it (without killing, preferably). It uses conveyor belts, actuators, hoiks, portal guns or whatever else it can to keep the player out
This is a legit mechanical challenge I would love to see.
Why not try making the highest and maybe the lowest ranking houses using the objective or your subjective block tearlists

the timelapse "commentary" during the time when your audio broke gave me a chuckle. I especially liked the "Oooh"s in sync with the music
its pretty funny how you can make a house in hell, fill it in lava, place the guide there, and make an automatic WoF spawner.

You should make a house that’s deadly for other players not in the house! A bunch of buttons and switches to release various traps, actuators that lead into death pits, grates to release lava and enemies to hurt the players. All while you sit inside within the confines of your home.

Midwatch Build Appreciation Comment (my house suggestion is in another!): I actually REALLY liked the sort of twisty vibe the first wall you made gave off with the block palette used. It made it almost feel like a bit of a spiral feeling in the middle where the alternating blocks connected with it. It may not fit this build, but it really does look super cool! I would suggest testing that texture out as a pillar design for backgrounds. I'm not a skilled builder at all, but just from watching so many of your videos over the years I feel like I've gained some sense of "Hmmm, that might look good in this situation actually" thanks to you. Thanks Khaios!

My 10 year old son loves your channel and seeing how you build structures. He asked me to leave a comment saying how cool he thinks this build is and asked : “for your next build, could you maybe build New York City?” :)
Suggestions:
1. Since you like the poo block so much, I feel like you need a throne bathroom house.
2. I don't know if I've seen a hobbit style house from you yet, but I think that would be great, and maybe have one for each grassed biome.
3. How close could you get to making the home alone houses?
4. A maze house! How confusing can you make it to navigate to all rooms of a house (with hidden buttons and TPs) while making every room accessible in some way?
5. I've tried to make a MASSIVE castle several times, in the theme of Birmingham Palace, The Magic Kingdom at Disney, or castles inspired by LOTR. Would be interesting to see an actual builder like you do it.
6. What's the prettiest house you can make late-game in Terraria? What's the prettiest house you can make with the most obscure/unused blocks to in game play?
7. An Aquarium Museum House?
8. A Butterfly House themed like one of the real life ones?
9. A plane crash house? Or a starship crash house?
10. A bouncy everything house? (Boulders and blocks)
11. Houses themed towards the events (Blood Moon, Eclipse, Frost & Pumpkin Moons)
12. A prank house that locks players inside (like say a lihzard brick echo block trapped house)
13. Your favorite video games used to theme some houses. Same for movies.
14. A workout gym house!
15. Other common business places, like a restaurant or grocery store.
Hopefully some of those are good and you haven't tried them yet!
Hey Khaios, i have a couple ideas if you want to hear, I really liked those micro houses you did about 5 years ago, and would find very intresting to seed another video in that style. I also am currently trying to make labyrinth which is also a functional base, while also looking good. For an exemple on what you could do, the one i am making is a miner's shack, but the shack itself is just the entrance to the true build, a basement of small tunnels with a few bigger rooms once in a while, where only the miner who dig the tunnels up would know the way. don't know if that appeals to you, but it does to me 🙂

The house looks so cool, I think the bridge/lava trap is my favourite part. I love your underground builds in general ♥ the forward base and dwarven city are some of my faves. Would love to see more underground concepts! Maybe an old-fashioned mine?
Some points you can use to help your survival in the deadly house:
• Terraspark Boots incorporate the Obsidian Skull into their craft, which provides immunity to fire blocks, and while I'm not entirely certain, the boots themselves might also provide immunity to the basic burning debuff.
• The Ankh Shield is made from the Cobalt Shield and has the Medicated Bandage in it's craft. All told, this will prevent you from bleeding or getting poisoned, as well as preventing you from getting thrown around into other traps.
• You can avoid the suffocation while crossing the doorways through the use of a Rod of Discord. Be careful, however, as hasty teleportation may cause you to trigger another of the traps instead.

I like the idea of something incongruous. A Flesh/Lession evil-themed house in a Hallow biome, appropriately painted, Hell freezing over, that kind of thing.

Here's an idea. A playthrough using Gravity potions the whole time. All builds will be upside down, all boss fights upside down. I think this would be a very cool vid to watch and see how you go about handling the situations

Not entirely sure how you'd theme it, but a house focused on having lots of secrets/hidden rooms would be really cool!

You could make a row of NPC prisons with hoiks/teleporters and player sensors, so that the NPCs are moved to the same spot every day, for "easy" access, but every time the player gets near to interact, the NPC is _yoinked_ away!
House Idea: The loudest house... Basically, use stuff that will trigger a bunch of random noises. Like actuators dropping a bunch of coins, a bunch of teleporters instantly teleporting enemies, statues that summon loud enemies, every chest having a gas trap, buttons that will trigger explosives at the distance (so you'll hear the explosion while the house is safe), etc...
I’ve been on a Valve binge lately, I think something that could be easy or difficult depending on the details, would be an aperture/portal themed house. Would be kind of cool, especially if the house resembles an actual chamber from portal. Or something along those lines!

Make the most beautiful house using only dirt blocks and dirt walls, including the patterned dirt walls from ecto mist. Paint, hammering, and actuating is allowed.
You should make a house filled with secrets and Easter eggs! You could use hidden switches, puzzles, secret rooms and other stuff like that

It might not exactly fit the theme here, but imagine a player, who is afraid of exploring the world, and instead settled down in the coziest cave house - like a hobbit hole!

House idea: Incredibly inconvenient house
It could work as a mini challenge map
Inside space is too tight but tight enough for you to walk around, and stuff always feels like it should be doable/in reach but you still need to make an effort to interact with something or get something done, like storing, crafting and talking to NPCs. Thematically, it could be a really nice looking apartment or some kind of animal colony system

I'd love to see a Siily Balloon house, bonus if it's valid, and in the shape of a balloon animal (It also has a matching furniture set, so it should be viable)
- I own traps for home defense, since that’s what ReLogic intended
- four players break into my house
- “what the voodoo demon?!” as I grab my Ironskin potion and defensive armor set
- a boulder trap lands on the first man, he’s smushed on the spot
- lava spills on the bridge, doesn’t phase him because he has an obsidian skin potion and makes the Angler leave
- I have to resort to the geysers mounted in my living room
- “A terrible chill goes down your spine” the geyser burns two men alive
- let spike traps prick the last terrified Terrarian
- bleeds out waiting for his Potion Sickness to wear off since he doesn’t have an Ankh Shield
- just as ReLogic intended

A house made of walls. It looks like a regular Terraria house, but then you try to walk in and realize it's only walls.
When this came out I was like ‘WHAT HAPPENED WERE BEING BLESSED!’
Thought of a house idea, a mysterious jungle house that won't let players rest in it via a bunch of hidden teleporters. Maybe the teleporters can teleport a player to dangerous enemies, or completely out of it's jungle biome.
Also it doesn't just have to be teleporters, it can be crumble blocks too or anything that can cause a player to leave
Imagine dying during a multiplayer boss fight and having to get back to the battle quickly from here...
Maybe a house using just one or two of the most versatile blocks? Some blocks can make other blocks and several different walls, so maybe exclusively using the base block and any of its products and limiting to one or two blocks?
I would love to see something like the "rarest" house, with blocks that would be the hardest to obtain in normal play

Do you think it’s possible to do a tutorial on all the different furniture and how they can be used? I see all these different light sources and beds that are super cool in your builds and I really want to know how you do it.
A house idea is a house that is trying it's hardest to keep you inside it. Not trying to kill you, not trying to trap you, just making it as hard as possible to get outside of the house to the point where the simple act of leaving is a 5 minute endeavor. Not impossible but you'll wish it was. Outside clearly in view but oh so far away. And it can't just be a maze. the exit must be clearly labeled and in plain view. Think Absolutely Safe Capsule from Mother 3 but with the one difference of actually being able to leave.
