Yeah, that AU Target is definitely an old fitout. The majority of Targets in Australia look way different to the one you went to. Mind you, our Target AU doesn’t carry groceries, but we do have electronics, homewares, clothing, toys, etc.
Oh, and Anko brand came from our Kmart. Both Target and Kmart in Australia are owned by the same company. At the start of this year, they merged the backend systems, and essentially started stocking Anko brand in Target because it was a lot more successful than the Target brand products were.
Target Australia reminds me of all the department stores my mom used to drag me around in, circa 1995.
