    Ingredients for Mushroom Matar Curry:
    (Tsp-Teaspoon; Tbsp-Tablespoon)
    - Button Mushrooms- 300 gms
    - Fresh green peas- 1 US cup (150 gms)
    Tempering:
    - Cumin Seeds- 1 tsp
    - Green Chillies - 2 cut into 1” pieces
    Spice Powders:
    - Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
    - Red Chilli Powder- 1 tsp
    - Coriander powder- 1.5 tsp
    - Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 1.5 tsp
    - Garam Masala powder -1/2 tsp
    - Kasuri Methi (roasted and powdered)- 1 tsp
    Other Ingredients:
    - Onions chopped - 2 medium (120-130 gms)
    - Ginger garlic paste - 1.5 tsp
    - Tomato purée -5 tbsp
    - Fresh cream -3 tbsp
    - Coriander leaves (chopped) -3 tbsp
    - Salt- 1/2 tsp in onions + 1/2 tsp after adding peas and mushroom
    - Oil- 3 tbsp
    Preparation:
    - Shell fresh peas or use frozen ones.
    - Chop the onions and cut the green chillies into 1” pieces.
    - Dry roast the kasuri methi for around 30 secs and crush with your hand once cooled.
    - Chop the coriander leaves and set aside for use later.
    - For the mushroom, wash and wipe clean the button mushrooms. Cut these into halves.
    - Keep in the refrigerator till these are to be added.
    Process:
    - Heat oil in a kadhai/pan and then add the cumin seeds and green chillies.
    - Give a stir and then add the chopped onions. Add 1/2 tsp salt and fry on medium heat for around 5 mins till light brown in colour.
    - Add ginger garlic paste and fry on low heat for 2 mins.
    - Now add the readymade tomato purée & all the spice powders other than GMP & kasuri methi. Mix and cook on medium low heat for 4-5 mins till these are cooked & oil separates.
    - Now add the fresh green peas, mix and cook on low heat for 3-4 mins.
    - Add the cut mushrooms and 1/2 tsp salt & mix and cook on low heat for 3-4 mins.
    - Now add 150 ml water and cook on low heat for 5 mins.
    - Remove lid and add the garam masala powder, crushed kasuri methi & the fresh cream.
    - Mix well and cook on low heat for 2-3 mins.
    - Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, mix and serve.
