I loved the use of this song in Mary and Max, it hits so hard especially with the scene its played it
Sesrch and
Mary and max brought me here
Yes it was so haunting beautiful.
that movie is the best movie ever!
In Dead Like Me, this song played while transporting a child to the after life, and it depicted a circus.
Great twist/version of this classic.... I like when a band plays it differently......
I like the Doris Day version, but I have also adored the wonderfully discordant music in this version.
Exactly. This one is a lot darker, it's brilliant!
In a parallel universe where instead of a sweet lady who retired to her animal rescue ranch, Doris was a serial killer.
I love this, breaks your heart in pathos and sorry yet some how is uplifting too. Like a dream it dances in an almost creepy nightmare of sorry and longing yet grips you with a deep heart felt longing for what once was, innocent. Reminds me of Peggy lees "is that all there is?"
no matter what, just remember the message of the song. whatever will be, will be.
whatever happens in life, happens. don't dwell on the bad in life, just let it go and move on, and whatever happens, will happen
Im french and when I was reaaaally young my mom used to sing me this song
I heard it on instagram and I instantly start to cry
This song sometimes sounds like some kind of a sick circus song where no one wants go give u any answers and u just ask questions in circle and go mad.
I guess thats what life feels like sometimes
That's why it was used in Dead Like me, perfect for the scene.
And thus I love this cover
Digital Circus?
She has a beautiful voice.
so haunting
I could totally see this playing in the new 'Joker' movie with Joaquin Phoenix as he 'transitions'.
Muy hermosa, me trae recuerdos gratos!!
Cuando de pequeños nos preguntabamos como seria muestra vida,y soñabamos😢
I don’t get why y’all having anxiety over this I actually like it.
It's because this version is in a minor key.
so eerie, but it sounds playful
Doris Day made this beautiful song very famous a long time ago-Bless her soul.
What a lovely song. +1 like!
Superbe...!!
This remembers me of my childhood... Our singing thought us this song...😍🙈💞
This song makes me so uneasy.
Alley marie i think it’s just this version of it but it gives me like MAJOR anxiety and idk why
Especially when the movie "Mary & Max" paired it with Mary's attempted suicide. 'Makes me so unnerved...and a little teary-eyed.
I feel stressed and anxious listening to this lol
Linda melodia 👏
The button I purchased from their website brought me here!, that and I’ve seen them in concert. You’d be wise to see them when they play near you………
I'm having Mary and Max flashbacks. I can't think of this song without the scene where the former attempted to commit suicide especially since we've seen all that's built up to it and understand why she's as miserable as she is at this point.
Foarte frumos, felicitări, să traiti
The first episode of Dead Like Me, played this song at the very end …
Strange arrangement, I daresay. But non umpleasant at all. The voice leads the melody. The music tryes to follow it. At the second listening, it starts to sound interesting.
Dead Like Me brought me hereeee! but like... back then. I've returned. Lmfo
“It is cruel. It's cruel she won't know what life's really like. It's cruel that she'll miss out on so much love and pain and beauty, and that's sad for everyone in the world except for her. She won't give a rat's ass, she'll be doing something different. That's just the way it is.”
Such a powerful thing Rube says, and just in the first episode.
I just started rewatching it after many, many years. I cried when this played. It's just so beautifully macabre
@@evillttlimp Ackskdjskd! I used to watch it on TV. Please tell me you know where to find an online source! If not, lemme quarantine with you. xD
nobody cares how you got here, just enjoy
@@moleratical7634 Hey, don't tell me to do what I'm already d-- wait... WAIT!! Are you saying.... you speak for everybody on this planet??! 0: Omg that's so fkkn kool, you must be like super multifaceted and hella relatable. Like... like Captain America! O= Why aren't you running for president???!
Unless...
you're just a highly opinionated person who lacks emotional intelligence enough to where you don't understand that your opinion is not everyone else's. And if by 'nobody' cares you actually meant _you_ don't care, I'm a respector of opinions no matter how irrational they seem. xD It's no hair off my ass, idk you enough to want to seek your approval much less seek anyone's approval. Like ever. Lol. And if that's the case, man. I'm sorry, but you're not nobody. Try thinking more highly of yourself next. You matter to _somebody,_ I'm sure. :3
Einfach wunderschöne Musik
They played this song in the movie The cut with Meg Ryan. The song fits the movie with unanswered questions!!
That movie rules, but please remember you have a purpose, just because it feels bad now doesn't mean it's over.
Dead like me :)
Qui vivra verra ! So Il love nino and Taina
💖
Y la cantaba en el cologio a los seis años,hoy tengo 57
This brings back memories of a portland zoo concert and romance?
Doesn,t feel the same without those waterphone noises they added in Mary and max
Chile

My aunt ninny use to sing this song to me
Amazing version hard to find the American horror story version HD copy
What episode
Yo vengo por Mary y Max
Bruh what’s with the comments at the bottom
Blame it on Jorge anyone?
(Casually swings on a swing minutes before an atomic bomb)
mary and max
dead like me
I actually prefer this version. Does anyone know the vocalist?
POV: Youre on the brink of suicide, when you realize you have a package from your pen-pal who was ashamed of you, now forgiving you
L’homme qui en savait trop
Doris Day
This makes me think of Carrie from Stephen King.
I heard this was used in a lost creepy PSA from around 2007, i believe it was about drug abuse.
bro watched a video
i’m here because of blameitonjorge
Scream queens anyone?
... and Chucky, Annabelle and Dolly are swinging their heads with a grin
In The Cut brought me here

If the Back Rooms had a theme song.
It is in the American Horror Story, no wonder ...
I'm here because of the simpsons

Horrible rendition. 😵

@@UnwantedStudios3 another?? With pleasure. That sounded sadistic. One good thing about it... I only gave it about 28 seconds into it. 💩
@@ryan92335 lol it was played for a sad scene in a show its supposed to en that way
@@UnwantedStudios3 well it definatley hit the mark. 🎯
@@ryan92335 if you think music should sound happy or pleasant all the time something is wrong with you
