What does the photo that was edited in the workspace in Peakto view as in the Apple Photos App?

Thanks for asking. When you edit an Apple Photos image in Luminar using the Luminar workspace in Peakto, Apple Photos does not know anything about the operation. So you won't see the edited image in Apple Photos, but you will see it in Peakto. Peakto will show both the original Apple Photos version and the edited version and will let you go back to the edits. I hope that I understood your question, if not, please let us know.

@@CymePhotography Well, thanks for explanation, I was wondering as well. While this behavior may be clear to you, it was not at all for me. I was really waiting for Photos to pick up the change. After this did not work in several attempts I began searching the web. My master photo library is iCloud Photo Library, and I won't change that, neither for Luminar, nor for Peakto. That is just not going to happen. Having the ability to "copy" a photo from Photos to Peakto, so I can perform multiple edits without loosing the edit history is very nice, but it's really only have the story. And pretty useless, to be honest. I need the last edit back in Photos, and I don't want to import another copy into Photos, that would be very stupid. Can you understand that?

Hi @@flo_muc! It is fine to use iCloud Photos as your master catalog and Peakto is designed to accomodate that. But in that case, you have really 2 ways to perform the operation:
1/ if you perform an edit in Luminar, do it by launching Luminar from Photos. This will ensure that the edited image is referenced in Apple Photos even though it has been edited in Luminar. Peakto will pick the change in Apple Photos once the edit is done.
2/ Use the Peakto workspace if you like the ability to experiment with Luminar without saving these experiments in the Apple Photos. Once you are happy, export the high definition image from Luminar and add it back to Photos. Peakto will also pick up the change but will keep your experiments in the workspace.
      I hope it helps.
