From Mohammad's own words when he was asked about whom to marry as he was riding a camel, "Marry young girls so you can play with them". Either Mohammad plays with dolls, pees like a girl and wear girls clothes, (which is weird), or it's a different kind of play.
Bro spend almost one hour trying to defend child abuse lmao. With 1 question you can send his speach to the toilet: According to allah, in 2023 is it ok for a 50 years old to marry a 6 years old and consume the marriage when she's 9? How can they defend the indefendable lmao 😂 it must be hard to have to defend islam haha

Why was she playing with dolls? Because the prophet (pbuh) came to visit her father often. Come on people. Stop gossipping about private matters like sex. They did this when she lost her necklace. Don't let the hypocrites who love to gossip make you continue this behaviour. Mind your business.
Sahih Bukhari 5133, Narrated `Aisha: that the Prophet (ﷺ) married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death). 'Aisha when she was a girl of six years of age, and he consumed that marriage when she was nine years old. (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 58, Number 236) As for whether a child of 9 yrs is physically or mentally capable of a sexual relationship, I would like to bring to your attention this article. Average Height to Weight Chart -Female Babies to Teenagers Conclusion: 9 yrs av weight 62.0 lb (28.1 kg), av height 52.5" (133.3 cm) 20 yrs av weight 128.0 lb (58.0 kg) av height 64.3" (163.3 cm) The difference in weight between a 20yr woman and 9 yr girl = 29.9 kg, 65.9 lb The difference in height between a 20 yr woman and a 9 yr girl = 30cm, 11.8” What does this info mean? The average 9yr old girl is NOT ready for sex, why? She has not developed into an adult physically and mentally. Tell us why does a man marry a woman? 1/ Because he falls in love? 2/ Because he finds her personality to his liking and likes talking and discussing with her, companionship? 3/ Because he wants to have a family? The truth is Muhammad could not do any of these things with Aisha, why? Because she was a child, too young for love, too young for companionship, to young to have a family So why did Muhammad want a 9 yr old bride? Could it be he was a pedophile? There have always been men marrying very young girls, yes that’s right. But keep in mind that Muhammad is said to be the perfect example for all Muslim men to follow and it is discovered that he was, a pedophile. Hence millions of young girls are married and raped at an early age within Islam. This is the legacy of the Muhammad-Aisha marriage. It is wildly inappropriate for a 53yr old man to be in a sexual relationship with a 9-year-old girl.
Talmud says the minimum age to marry a girl is 3-year old while the Bible praises Moses for taking young unmarried women and children of Midian as properties for his army. And they have the audacity to trash talk on the marriage of Aisha (ra)? It's not their eyes that are blind but their hearts.
@@tobyadowye5537 • *This is what the Talmud says:* _"A girl who is _*_three years and one day old,_*_ whose father arranged her betrothal, _*_is betrothed through intercourse,_*_ as the halakhic status of intercourse with her is that of intercourse in all halakhic senses. And in a case where the childless husband of a girl three years and one day old dies, if his brother the yavam engages in intercourse with her, he acquires her as his wife; and if she is married, a man other than her husband is liable for engaging in intercourse with her due to violation of the prohibition against intercourse with a married woman. And if she is impure due to menstruation, she imparts impurity to one who engages in intercourse with her who then renders impure all the layers of bedding beneath him, rendering them impure like the upper bedding covering a zav, in the sense that it assumes first-degree ritual impurity and does not become a primary source of ritual impurity, and it renders impure food and drink, but it does not render impure people and vessels. If she marries a priest, she may partake of teruma, like any other wife of a priest; if she is unmarried and one of the men who are unfit for the priesthood, e.g., a mamzer or ḥalal, engaged in intercourse with her, he disqualifies her from marrying into the priesthood, and if she is the daughter of a priest, she is disqualified from partaking of teruma. Finally, if one of all those with whom relations are forbidden, as stated in the Torah, e.g., her father or her husband’s father, engaged in intercourse with her, they are executed by the court for engaging in intercourse with her, and she is exempt, because she is a minor. If the girl is less than that age, younger than three years and one day, the status of intercourse with her is not that of intercourse in all halakhic senses; rather, it is like placing a finger into the eye. Just as in that case, the eye constricts, sheds tears, and then returns to its original state, so too, in a girl younger than three years and one day old, the hymen returns to its original state."_ *_(Niddah [5]:4)_* • *And this is what the Bible says:* _"Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him._ _But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves."_ *_(Numbers [31]:17-18)_*
@@yesihavereadit The problem is, being an atheist, we can't tell which one is right or wrong because we don't have a divine scripture as our moral guidance and instead we depend on our human assumptions to assume which one is moral and isn't.
I think a video on the concept of “cousin marriage” should be addressed. This is another objection non-muslims make against Islam to make it seem “backwards” and “primitive”.
Answer to that is pretty simple. Islam for example allows sugar. Too much will result in diabetes health problems etc. Likewise cousin marriage when its One-off consanguineous relationship it leads to a slight increase in the risk of genetic defects. As the incidence of many of these defects is very low anyway, the absolute risk still remains low. Since risk is low its permissable. If it is continuous then its not recommended in islam.Imam Ghazali (citing Sayyidina Umar, no less) have cautioned against excessiveness in this - precisely because it ‘weakens the offspring.’ [Ghazali: Ihya XII]
Its not non muslims but a subset of non nuslims and in every age and in every culture they all have thier own objections, before the pagans and till into the future, so many endless criteria that islam has to bend over backwards to answer the doubts of people who have soaked up false meta physical assumptions about how things should be, I am sick of this every damn culture thinking its the best, every generation thinking its advanced, screw them all, things have gotten worse and the conformity to false assumptions is a rampant disease and I am sick of holding on to try pleas people on their damned false assumptions
It’s backwards if you Think genetically, you live in a world where you can fly around the world in 30 hours, you don’t need to mess around with your cousins - Many Muslim genetics to pick from, back then it was situational. They have an App in Iceland that people use that track their lineage so when they are on a date they track each other’s lineage so they don’t intermarry, go there lol
Would you give your 6 or 9 year old daughter to a man who is in his 60s? Would you be ok with the idea of this man having intercourse with a 9 year old? Even if it was a common at the time to force girls who were around 12-14 to marry (often older) men, why didn't Islam forbid this, since the purpose of Islam was to make people better? I don't think that it's ever okay for a child to marry, and it's even worse if it's with a much older man. Based on this, we shouldn't criticise men who are marrying little girls in many countries to this day. If religion allowed it then, why not allow it now. This is really scary. I don't think that atheists/agnostics are necessarily "better" than Muslims, but I think the majority wouldn't let their 9 year old get married and engage in things that she doesn't have the maturity to even understand or consent to. Those who allow it are sick, it doesn't matter if they are Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Atheist etc.
Yes, I would marry my daughter at that age in a heart beat. If I found a good and trustworthy man, I would marry her to him and I would be very very happy at that. Because it will ultimately lead to her best life, she will be taken care of, she will learn from that man many things, maturity, love, responsibility, spirituality, and so much more. In most times and places it is literally the best thing a person can do for their daughters to marry them as soon as possible to the best human being they can find.... We live in a very different time in the last decades now where a strange and new education system is mandatory upon all, which is very very lengthy (and expensive to the point of most becoming in massive debt undergoing it, but which can have a pay off for the very few top 1-2% of the world population. Remember this education system never existed before, the technologies we have never existed, the modern life we have with all its complicated jobs never existed before, 99+% of people didn't read or write). Now people vie with each other for careers that take long times to establish, that strangle a large portion of our time and life to acquire, and barely give us enough sustenance sometimes to live paycheck to paycheck and pay the bills. People today don't have time to build large families, and the goal of today's time is focused on career as the ultimate goal, not family building. Times have changed. There's no wrong in pursuing education and entering these careers generally speaking, but when it's a detriment to the overall moral fabric of society then we have to think about changing things because it highly discourages family, motherhood, fatherhood, and producing children, in fact it not just discourages these things now but makes it very near impossible to have a big and stable family. Just think about that. How times are different and goals are different. In the past, for all of human history, the goal was to produce the best family. In fact, it is survival to get married in the past and in the present even in many parts of the world. It's the present day reality for many poorer parts of the world to get established in a family earlier for their well being, and besides that it is also a moral and ethical desire for many people to form a family as soon as possible. People need education but they also need to become part of a family early on too, otherwise later in life becomes difficult and everything becomes much more prolonged - however there is nothing wrong in either doing it earlier or later, depending on the situation, but earlier saves one from many harms that we see in today's modern world. There is nothing perverted about getting married early. It's only the perverted modern life of the secular world that makes one think in this stranger way. People didn't think like that in the past at all.... Saying all that, Islam is clear about what makes one an adult and what doesn't - it's puberty. Simple, straightforward, clear. Once you hit puberty, you are accountable to Allah. You are a young man and woman. I remember when I was 11 years old, I was very responsible and mature, very smart. I wanted to get married early. But then the education system corrupted me and I became more immature as time went on due to the all of perversions and distractions of modern life, and the delaying of adulthood. When I was 14 I wished very badly to just go out in the world and start earning a living and doing business, but the world chained me to a useless education system and kept calling me a child. It neuters young men actually and destroys their ambition and drive. Obviously this is not true for everyone, but for so many young men this rings true. And if this is true for me and for many young men, and men mature later than young women, then what to say about the women in our society who are delaying their God given gift of bearing children and motherhood. I'm sure many young women feel brutalized by the modern system. People's perspectives need to change. Alhamdulillah for Islam that made things very clear. Puberty is the mark of adulthood. Now different times and places can adjust according to what suits their time and places best, but before puberty no one can consummate marriage. Islam put the limit on it. And is a mercy to all people and times that needed the clear definition. The modern secular liberal world has no set definition for adulthood and is offering no solutions to the very real problems of all people and all times in all different situations.
It is forbidden in Islam to force a girl to marry, or to marry her before she's reached the age of puberty, not to mention a myriad of rulings and teachings about treating her fairly, being a loving husband, etc.
Oh and, it doesn't matter if they were atheists, agnostics, Christians or Jews, the majority WOULD'VE let their nine year old daughter get married, because the majority of atheists, agnostics, Christians and Jews DID get married young, up until about a century ago. You only think this way because of the time and place you live in, and thus, got your morals from.
@@aqxico I'm thinking critically. Children don't suddenly become super mature the day they reach puberty. On average girls reach puberty at 11 and boys at 12, although some girls reach puberty at 8 and boys at 9. It doesn't mean that they are mature enough. They are still children. It's not a bad thing to marry young if you find the right husband or wife early but as an adult woman, I wouldn't marry a 9 or 12 year old boy. Even if they were more mature than most boys of that age, their brain won't have developed enough and I would just view it as child abuse. I guess it's easy for the family to manipulate the child and make him/her think that this is normal but a lot of child marriages create lifelong trauma. There are plenty of adults to marry. I really don't understand people who insist on marrying a 8-12 year old in some countries.
Honestly don't care what her Age was , be it 9 when the marriage was consummated , be it 17-18 , the fact was it was an Arabian culture and spread across all tribes and religions back then. Anyhow , still looking ahead to watch your video , to be more aware to be more thankful and appreciative of your effort. May God increase you in knowledge and manners.
The most reasonable reason one can give ....let's not be involved in stuff that won't harm us nor benefit us ...just to give prove to the people who are gonna find some new flaw in Islam anyways....at the end they would believe whatever they want so let's believe what we should.... The best way out of it is to learn more about prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) and our mother A'isha's relationships !!
I fully concur. That's as far as I'll take it. It was a common practice for the people of that time not just in arabia, but in almost all corners of the world. Period
Why does it take so long to say she was 6. And by the way, anachronism is ok to be applied to cultures or people, but not ok when we talk about prophet or God 4:35
Very creepy to hear a group of young men openly talking about the appropriateness of having sex with children and trying to make it normal.its grooming, its evil, I petty your sisters and daughters. Shame on you all
Are you stupid? What is a child? Tell me... The age and definition of child has changed throughout human history it has never stayed the same. The perception and definition of childhood have evolved throughout human history and can vary across different cultures and time periods. In ancient societies, children were often expected to take on adult responsibilities at an earlier age than is typical in modern Western societies. Childhood as a distinct and protected phase of life is a relatively recent development, emerging primarily in the 17th and 18th centuries in Europe.
@thepanther8925 a child is someone who's sexual organs haven't fully developed. Even if aisha had already hit puberty, it still takes time for the hips and vagainal entrence to grow (you know, to prevent the vaginal opening from being torn when a man penetrates it) . Your desperate attempts to defend child rape just show your lack of comprehension with human anatomy.
Go thibk what you want if you cant disprove it then shut up just because the age consent these days are 18 doesnt mean a whole civilization was disgusting the other thing is that there 3 thing sneeded for marriage first is that if she is physically ready which means she should pass puberty 2nd is mentally ready which is the fact that she wants to marry or not the 3rd is that it has to be socially acceptable now i have given you a headstartbon this concept for you to understand
Historical analysis of the novel: 1. Calculating the age of Lady Aisha in relation to her sister Asma bint Abi Bakr (also known as Asma with the Two Waistbands): All the aforementioned historical sources unanimously state that Asma was older than Aisha by 10 years. These sources also consistently report that Asma was born 27 years before the migration to Medina, which means she was 14 years old when the Prophet's mission began in the year 610 CE. This calculation is based on subtracting 13 years (the period of the Prophet's preaching in Mecca) from her age before the migration (27 - 13 = 14 years). Since all sources confirm that Asma was 10 years older than Aisha, it can be deduced that Aisha was 4 years old when the Prophet's mission began in Mecca. This means she was born 4 years prior to the commencement of the revelation, which was in the year 606 CE. Based on this simple calculation, it is evident that when the Prophet married Aisha in Mecca during the tenth year of his mission, she was 14 years old (4 + 10 = 14 years). In other words, Aisha was born in the year 606 CE, and she married the Prophet in the year 620 CE when she was 14 years old. As mentioned, the consummation of their marriage took place three years later, a few months towards the end of the first year of the migration, which was in the year 624 CE.
@@mangopudding5979 The age of Aisha is mentioned in hadith, not Quran. Quran has no contradictions because it is the word of God. Hadith is fallible because it is the word of man, not God. She reached maturity, we know that for sure because Quran confirms to marry only women who have reached maturity. Arabs did not keep track of their age or celebrate birthdays. They estimated their age. Also, the lifespan back then was 35. People got married young.

Asadullah Ali’s article was good but I didn’t like the life expectancy argument he was using, I find that argument very flimsy. The article on Yaqeen institute written by Nurideen Knight is also good as well.
@@LeoMessi_22 it's not only life expectancy, but child mortality rates very high back then, so people needed to start families young in order to have a chance of having surviving children.
You see the issue with the defense argument of people saying “That’s just how things were done back in the day” means that Mohammed himself is just a regular flawed man, not to be revered as a prophet
first of all different situations call for different laws the same law wont be applied to every situation because of the completely different circumstances, 1400 years ago there were so many reasons for it. such as tribal disputes the average age of death being 30-50 max, and so many more. you can’t use the same laws of society today and apply them 1400 years ago because of the vastly different circumstances, not only that but only 100 years ago they did the same even though they didn’t have barely enough reasoning as 1400 years ago. I’m not saying just because it was normal back then means it’s okay.. Im saying that the vastly different circumstances give reasoning for it to be morally correct, as long as those same circumstances are there, if not.. then it will not be allowed and would be morally wrong, if yes.. (which in this case it is) then it would be completely morally justified, you’re welcome
Even if she was 13 or 16, why are you trying to justify 54 years old messenger of God marrying a 16 year old? Why didn’t Allah tell his prophet it was wrong, he should set an example and not use his position to have sex with a teenager. Didn’t Allah tell his prophet it was wrong to marry his son’s wife or rape the slave girl? Allah was giving the message for all times, Allah didn’t seem to know what was happening in the future. Please stop trying to defend the indefensible, no religion is perfect, no prophet is perfect, just take the best parts of Islam and stop trying to justify what is clearly wrong.
There are many Hadith, in English, about Aisha's age they generally state as this Hadith does : "It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah married her when she was six years old, and consummated the marriage with her when she was nine." Grade: Sahih (Darussalam) Reference : Sunan an-Nasa'i 3255 It is graded as Sahih by some, but that is wrong. These Hadith were transmitted by Hishaam ibn Urwa or sometimes it's just stated Hishaam, one and the same person. When Hishaam grew old his memory suffered very badly and it was then that he transmitted these Hadith. In the science of Hadith there are five conditions that must be met in order for a hadith to be graded as Sahih. One of the conditions is that the narrator have a high precision of memory. Hishaam had a very bad memory and therefore doesn't meet the criteria in fact as his memory was very bad the Hadith is Apocryphal, Daef or false. There is a Hadith transmitted by Umaartubnu Ghazeyah but he is listed as being Daef and therefore the Hadith is Daef. The Hadith such as these are Apocryphal, Daef or false and many people do not know. Asma, Aisha's sister, was 10 years older than Aisha. Asma died in 73 AH at 100. Which makes Aisha around 17 at the time of Hijra to Medina. She was conducted to her husband, Peace be upon him in a later Shawwal making her 19 years and 10 months old. In The Holy Qur'an Allah says "...Marry who seem good to you from THE WOMEN...' 4:3 Marry THE WOMEN NOT CHILDREN. Extra knowledge: The fourth chapter, The Women, starts with "O' Mankind…" 4:1 and therefore the address is to Mankind. In Hadith 10 from 40 Hadith an-Nawawi It is noted that : "Verily Allah commanded The Believers* because He commanded with it The Messengers and Allah said "O' The Messengers Eat from The Good and Act Righteously" and He said "O' Those who Believe* Eat from The Good which We provided you"..." We note that Allah addresses The Messengers separately from The Believers* and this is true throughout the Qur'an. Therefore, Allah begins Chapter 4 with : "O' Mankind…" 4:1 and the address is to Mankind and excludes The Messenger, Muhammad, Peace be upon him. As the chapter continues it still addresses Mankind and says : "...Marry who seem good to you from THE WOMEN...' 4:3 This address is part of the address to Mankind and not to The Messenger Muhammad, Peace be upon him, who is excluded from this address. However, Further along in The Chapter, The Women, Allah says : "Allah wishes to make clear for you and guide you to The Practices of those from before you…" 4:26 In this verse which is still addressing Mankind Allah says He makes clear for you, Mankind, and guides you, Mankind, to The Practices of those from before you, and The practices of those before you is to, as Allah says : "...Marry who seem good to you from THE WOMEN...' 4:3 and those before you are The Prophets. All The Prophets from before their practice was to marry Women NOT children exonerating them from any and all blame. and Allah says : "...Never will you find in The Practice of Allah A Changing…" 35:43 and there are other verses from elsewhere in The Quran. And no changing in The Practice of Allah in respect to The messenger of Allah, Muhammad, Peace be upon him. The Prophet Muhammad's practice was already in line with The Practice of The Prophets from before that he and they only married women and therefore it was not necessary to address him,Peace be upon him, when Allah began The Chapter, The Women, with " O' Mankind…". Allah makes clear and guides Mankind to The Practice of those before us namely The Prophets and The Practice of Muhammad, Peace be upon him, in which there was no change in that practice from before to : "...Marry who seem good to you from THE WOMEN...' 4:3 Marry THE WOMEN NOT THE CHILDREN. There is more evidence but it would make this too long.
Thank you so much brother for providing this information, I know my response is 3 months late but I really wish to know I'll quote you here "These Hadith were transmitted by Hishaam ibn Urwa or sometimes it's just stated Hishaam, one and the same person." "When Hishaam grew old his memory suffered very badly and it was then that he transmitted these Hadith. " How do you know those two statements to be correct? I would love a verification on this as it would help me immensely.

@@ic.xc. In the 21st century, a 6 year-old in most parts of the world is a kid. However, there are many places like farms and villages where people mature faster than city folks. 1400 years ago, people matured early because the life expectancy was extremely low. People would die in their 30s and 40s, so it was necceray to marry young. This made them mature early. Ayesha (رضی اللہ عنھا) was a young adult, not a kid.
If an 18-year-old man comes to you and says he’s getting married, you’d question his decision-making skills. You’d think he’s getting married too early. Similarly, if an 18-year-old woman tells you that she’s getting married, you’d ask her to do a “reality check” and may be even discourage her by telling her she’s too young, and she should go to college or build a career. Even though 18 is the legal age most countries, no one really believes that an 18-year-old is ready for marriage! Should it be same for girls and boys? Or, should girls have a different minimum age than boys? Should the fact that girls mature earlier than boys be takin into account? Does "one size fits all" really work for determining a minimum age? In pre-modern cultures, girls would look forward to getting married and start a family. They did not see it as we see it today. They saw marriage as a benefit, not a burden like we do. That was the norm for them. And this was true in all religions, cultures, and regions of the world. The minimum age for marriage has been increasing worldwide. In all pre-modern traditional cultures, it wasn’t unusual for girls to consummate marriages between the ages of 10 and 12 and that was considered normal back then, but not today. In most modern societies, girls are highly discouraged from getting married, even at 18. Early marriage is considered bad. They’re told that education and careers are far more important and beneficial for a young woman than marriage and having children. Today, we’ve been indoctrinated into believing that it's always better for a woman to have a career and work than to have children and raise them. Women are taught to delay marriage for career. How has this impacted women, men, children and the society at large? The result is that most Western nations are in decline-population is imploding. Marriage is ruined. People are having fewer and fewer children than the previous generations. Corporations and business do not like early marriage because it’s bad for the economy. Women entering the workforce helps increase the supply of labor which in turns lowers wages. Business and corporations benefit when there are more women in the workforce. Women who work consume more and spend more. So, it’s good for business to have working women. We’re even told that it’s possible and perfectly normal for a woman to have both a career and raise children at the same time. While this may work for some, it doesn’t work for all women. Many women get burnt out trying to juggle jobs and raising kids. It's such a huge responsibility. We expect women to work like they have no kids. We expect women to have kids like they don't have a job. All this has put unrealistic demands on women. Stress, depression, and disintegration of the family. That statistics are there. It is unfair to women. Women have been tricked into believing that having a career and family are the norm. Modernity and liberalism have changed everything. Today we find early marriage shocking, but the pre-modern people lived in a very different time period. They didn’t go to schools or colleges. Liberalism has brainwashed us into rejecting early marriage. Girls are denied the freedom to marry early. Yet, girls are told they can sleep with anyone they want, have sex with anyone, “discover”, and even change their gender any time without parental consent! Liberalism is stupid, dangerous, and destructive. It’s ruining lives, families, communities, and societies. Thanks to liberalism, most Western nations are in decline-population is imploding. In pre-modern societies, girls did not care much about careers because there weren’t any to begin with. There was no vocational or job training for any jobs because girls didn’t get jobs. She had goats and cows to milk. Why won’t she get married and enjoy sex and have children? Early marriage was not only the norm, but also the most sensible and financially beneficial thing to do. That was then. Still, we have many poor villages in India and Africa where this works. As long as there’s no harm, let them do it. In the history of the world, there’s never been a universally agreed upon minimum age for marriage. Every religion or country has its own minimums. So, what’s the perfect age for marriage? What should be the minimum age? Depends on who you ask! There’s no perfect age as there’s no magic formula. People mature differently depending in their age and cultural norms. Some say minimum age of marriage should be 18 for both boys and girls. Some say 16, and some even say 12 or 14. Regardless of the number, the modern laws setting minimum age for marriage completely ignore the obvious biological fact that girls mature earlier than boys. Consequently, girls should have the legal option to be able to marry earlier than boys.
The age of Aisha (RA) argument is so bad, not only are their arguments committing logical fallacies (the ones they love to use 😂) but there's so much to protect the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) with it's insane to see people still use it to this day
@@elite7329 I'm not saying Mohammad Hijab is committing any fallacies, I'm saying the argument that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a bad person simply because he married and had intercourse with someone under 18 or 16 would fall under Presentism, saying that we should also be marrying children cause the Prophet did so would fall under anachronism, since the marriage was only supposed to be done in such times not ours, would also be committing affirming the consequent fallacy because you simply lead to that conclusion that he is a bad person without opening up the room for the reasons of such marriage at such time.
The argument that we should not judge historical Islam by modern standards standards just does not add up for a variety of reasons, One, if Mohammed did it and he is the perfect example for mankind in all times and places then you would think God would have directed Islam and Muhammad to ban this practice if Islam it was truly a devine revelation.... Secondly it's only in recent times that this whole age of Aisha has become a topic within Islam under pressure from the standards of the non Islamic world, nobody in the Islamic world was remotely concerned with this issues. Islam did not discover an ethical issue to be addressed here by itself by its own values, it took outsiders to address it 🙄 this should not be that hard to get, having sex with a 9 year old is just wrong!
1. The reason why we don't judge Islam by modern standards is because we haven't been shown any objective justification for said modern standards. It's just you guys begging the question is all. 2. Muslims are moral objectivists, not moral absolutists. Wheter an action is morally right or wrong generally depends on the context in which said action took place. In the case of the Prophet's (saw) marriage to Aisha (ra) we can see that there were extenuating circumstances (i.e. low life expectancy, high infant mortality, frequent war, famine disease, etc.) forcing people at that time to marry as early as physically tolerable. Not doing so would've likely resulted in community-wide extinction. The reason why early marriage wasn't banned is because there are certain circumstances in which such a custom becomes necessary and that remains true indefinitely. 3. Aisha's marriage only recently became a hot button topic because up until very recently people weren't at liberty to marry as late as we do currently. In fact prior to the industrial revolution, when peoples material circumstances shifted radically, virtually the entire world (which included the "enlightened West") seemed to not bat an eye at early marriage. That is not a coincidence.
Example for all mankind does not equal live 1400 years ago the way modern people live. It would be different if he married a prepubescent girl, but marrying a someone who was old enough for marriage, ready for marriage, willing for marriage, previously engaged to a non-Muslim proving that this was the norm for the time among all people, does not negate Prophethood. They lived in an agricultural society with no education system. She would've been married regardless, whether to him or someone else, so stop acting like he made her get married young. Mohammad pbuh marrying a girl who was already an adult by society's standards does not exclude him from being a role model. Aisha RA narrated roughly 2000 ahadith that painted a loving, positive picture of the Prophet, not a negative one. She herself was a fierce, outspoken, highly intelligent person who became a scholar, and later a military leader. If she wanted to complain about him in her 67 years of life, she would've. I copied and pasted the rest of this, but it drives the point home: Asadallah Ali who is not longer in the dawah scene unfortunately said this, and I think it perfectly talks to the morons who still try to make the Age of Aisha (RA) an issue: "Muhammad is always perfect because he dealt with the conditions of his time in a perfectly moral way. The problem here is that you seem to believe conditions for society are always static. If the average life expectancy was like 30 1400 years ago, it's perfectly rational to marry as early as possible. Saying we don't follow that today is not an admission to his lack of perfection, but a basic understanding of human development and history. Condemning him for this action is evidence of a lack of education. And anyone who claims this is "subjective morality" is even dumber."
It is not a wrong that it did not cause her physical or psychological harm, but if it turns out that marrying a girl of this age causes that, then Islam and Islamic Sharia prohibit marriage at the age of nine. Islam did not specify the age, but it only specified the capabilities

Umdat as-Salik Infants may be contracted by their guardians. The marriage of a boy or girl underage, by the authority of their paternal kindred, is lawful, whether the girl be a virgin or not, the Prophet having declared, "Marriage is committed to the paternal kindred." Malik alleges that this is a power the excecise of which does not appertain to any of the kindred except the father. Shafei maintains that it belongs only to her father or grandfather: and he adds that this privilege does not appertain to any guardian whatever with respect to an infant Siyeeba, although he be her father or her grandfather. Malik argues that power over freemen is estalished from necessity; but in the present instance no such necessity exists, as infants are not subject to any canal appetite : yet it is vested in a father, on the authority of sacred writings contrary to what analogy would suggest : but he also says that a grandfather, not being the same as a father, is not to be included with him. The Hedaya And of one not subject to courses, three months : and of one who is pregnant, the term of tier travail. THE Edit of a woman who, on account of extreme youth or age, is not subject to the menstrual discharge, is three months, because GOD has so ordained in the sacred writing, The Edit of a pregnant woman is accomplished by her delivery, whether she be a slave or free, because GOD, in the sacred writings, has so ordained respecting woman in that situation. The Hedaya And so likewise of a child born of a wife under age within nine months after either irreversible or reversible divorce. If a man repudiate, by an irreversible divorce, a wife who is under the age of puberty, but yet such an one as may admit of carnal connexion, and she bring forth a child after the expiration of nine months from the time of divorce, the parentage of the child is not established in him ; but if the delivery be within less than nine months, it is established. This is according to Haneefa and Mohammed, Aboo Yoosaf says that the Parentage is established in the man, although the child, should not be born within less than two years from the period of divorce, because she was under Edit, and it is possible that the pregnancy may have existed at the time of the divorce, and she not have declared the accomplishment of her Edit, wherefore this infant wife is the same as a full-grown woman. The Hedaya The marriage of a minor boy and [of] a minor girl is permitted when the guardian gives them in marriage, be the minor girl a virgin or a previously married woman who had consummated her marriage. [...] Sunnah according to time is established only in respect of the woman with whom marriage has been consummated, and that is when he divorces her once in the period of purity in which he does not have sexual intercourse with her, and [with regards to] the woman whose marriage has not been consummated, [the sunnah is] that he may divorce her in the period of purity or menstruation. When the woman does not menstruate due to her minority [age] or old age, and he wants to divorce her according to the sunnah, he should divorce her once. When a month passes, he divorces her again, and when a month passes [again], he divorces her another [time]. Aisha(r.a.) married with Prophet(s.a.v.), when she was around her 18. There are several authentic hadith narrations about the age of certain woman which seems contradicting with each other. And, we can find several examples on these contradictions; 1 - Some narrations says Khadija(r.a.) was 28, some says 40, during her marriage 2 - Some narrations says Aisha(r.a.) was 9, some imply she was 17, during her marriage 3 - Some narrations says Esma(r.a.) died when she was 100, some says around 90s ... So, all these authentic hadiths seem contradicting with each other due to an old Arab tradition: in the absence of a standard calendar, Arab society took certain important events as a milestone for their life, and they referred them when they need to count years. ARAB WOMEN USED TO COUNT THEIR AGES STARTING FROM THE FIRST TIME THEY OBSERVE MENSTURATION, since that is relatively important event for their life. One big reason Aisha (r.a) was married is that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) knew she would relate many hadith, she was smart and would ask the right questions, and was a challanging wife (in a good way), so that the marriage was a good example for many muslims later on. And she was one of the latest to die (678), she had time to relate speech to later generations. We have many evidance that the Prophet knew things from the future because God showed him. I think this marriage could be inspired because of these reasons, and also some political reasons, but there was also love in the marriage. Anyone can correct me if you have information against this.

but Muhammad is supposed to be the pinnacle of humanity, someone we should all replicate, why would he want to have sex with a 9 year old when he was in his 50s. I am just looking for answers.
@@m1j100_ Firstly, Muhammad (pbuh) did not 'want' to have intercourse with a 9 year old. It was a command from Allah swt to marry Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). Why? Because of her intellectual capabilities as an individual, and the ways in which she would be able to guide the ummah. Muhammad (pbuh) isn't someone we "replicate", he is someone who's teachings and actions we learn and follow with emphasis on intention. That is not synonymous to replication. Had the Prophet had immoral intentions as some presume, he would have married more young people/children as wives, but he did not. If you're saying that since Muhammad (pbuh) married a 9 year old, it is subsequently permissible for any man to marry a 9 year old, then you would be wrong. The question of her mental and physical maturity at 9 years old is the focal point of the issue, not the numeric age. She met the physical maturity: puberty. Then what about her mental maturity? How could she have consented to marriage? What, or who, determines her mental, behavioral, psychological, and social maturity? The answer is her parents. Then it begs the question of the determinant of the parents' mental competence. How do we know the parents will make the right choice for their child? How could they make the decision to give her hand to an older man? Social and mental evaluation of a parent is determined by how they function as members of a society. But what society? Who is to say that such a society that allows for a ‘child’ (which constitutes to being 9 years old as we say) is not a morally corrupt culture? What is a good society? It is at this point, that we turn to the Qur’an. A society in which men and women understand and follow the Qur’an perfectly is an intellectually capable society. The Qur’an tells the best way to function in and build a society. The Qur’an THEN says to follow the Hadiths. Now you might ask, what if we had a society today that resembled 7th century Arabia with regard to the marriage of a ‘child’? For example, child marriages are prominent in places like Afghanistan. Parents still choose to hand off their children to older men, most of whom are certainly pxdophiles. Here, we must keep in mind that their child’s mental evaluation is not their only responsibility. It is the parents’ duty to evaluate the potential groom: intentions of the groom, and social competence of the groom. If the parents fail to do this and/or knowingly send off their daughter to a problematic male, they are disobeying the Islamic law and placing their child in danger’s way. Allah swt will punish these individuals as He sees fit.
This became an issue after 1990. And they're saying it like there was no patriarch for the girls. Like anybody could just marry a young girl and no one had any say except the groom.
I’m Muslim but we can’t defend it because the Hadith in bukari regarding her age is wrong and one of the reasons why enemies of Islam use to attack character of the prophet pbuh. I’m not a Shia but even Shia don’t agree she was 6
A person must be aqil and baligh, no custom can overrule that. And the person must consent and know what that involves. The hadith are questionable at best and go against the primacy of the rule. According to the Hanafi mazhab a female can make her own wedding contract and a child can't, so do with that what you will. Also, this hadith has been abused by people to abuse children. May Allah ta'ala protect us and let us understand rahmatalilaalameen and not pretend zulm is from rahma. Instead we should be more objective in our approach and start applying reason to analysis of hadith literature.
Hijab although I respect the work you do defending islam on this issue you have made a massive mistake. The scholars who defend the hadtih have to do so in profound error of the Qur'an. The Qur'an is Al-Furqan and Absloute Truth that Judges the hadith not the hadtih that judges rhe Qur'an. In the Qur'an Nikkah which permits sexual intercourse is ONLY to a WOMAN! The Qur'an defines what a woman is so we don't need Hijab or any other scholars define it because the Qur'an explains it well without the need for external reasoning. Submit the interlect to the reasoning of the Qur'an. Some people use a solitary verse in the Qur'an to justify the Hadith to marry a girl of 6 Surah At Talaq 65:4: such of your women as have passed the age of monthly menstral cycles, for them them the prescribed period.... For those who have no menstral courses it is the same.... Such a woman who doesn't have her monthly menses either be one of two things. 1. She has not reached the age of puberty hence a child of 9 Or 2. A woman who suffers from abnormal menseses Which of the two is the Qur'an refering to? The Qur'an defines Nisa as Harth meaning a field which is ploughed so that seed can be planted with the hope that they will fertilise to grow and and produce crop: Al-Baqarah, 2: 223 ...your women are your Harth meaning tilth or field: go, then unto your tilth as you may desire... So for a girl to become a Nisa woman eligible for sex she must reach the age of puberty because only at this age her womb biologically develops into the Harth or a field ready for cultivation. Prior to that age she is a child who's womb cannot be cultivated since no seed can ever be fertilized and grow. This is further reinforced in Al-Nisa, 4:3 ... the orphan (girl), you can marry those from amongst them who have become women... So you can marry orphan girls only when they reach the age of puberty making them into women. In addition to puberty Al-Nisa, 4: 6 ... you have to test the orphans until they reach the age of Nikah (woman). So, if you determine she is mentally mature give her inheritance to her. Therefore, if in addition to puberty a woman who reaches the age or nikkah must also be mentally mature. It is unequivocal the hadith in sahih Al bukhari that declared the prophet's marriage to a six or nine years according to other narrations is in manifest conflict with the Qur'an. Therefore, it is a FALSEHOOD! and FABRICATION! Those who defend the hadith should have the integrity to declare it is a sunnah to marry a six or a nine year old child and that they themselves prepared and to apply this sunnah, since Allah Most High declared in Al-Ahzab, 33: 21 ... That the conduct of the blessed prophet is the best example of human conduct. In addition according to the school of fiqh if a sunnah is left to die then the entire ummah is responsible for neglecting the sunnah and therfore, sinful. The scholars who defend this hadith should explain why Nobody including them is willing to follow this sunnah and elevate the burden of sin that is upon the ummah. If the scholars say this was only exclusive for the prophet like him having more than four wives then this is the clear exception given by Allah in the Qur'an. Then, be careful not to attribute a lie to Allah in your sham attempt to defend the hadith literature as Allah has not said this. Therefore, to attribute to the prophet that which you cannot defend or follow yourself is a blatant lie against the prophet that you will have explain on judgement day to the prophet when you reach Al-kawthar.
You took at-Talaq verse4 out of context Brother. If I’m not mistaken these verses have to do with divorce. And prescribes waiting period before remarriage.
@@TheRoundtable_RTG as-salamu alaykum Brother The verse of divorce is within context. If you divorce a woman you first have to do a nikkah of marriage with her. The Qur'an is saying after the nikkah is consummated and you decide to divorce then if a woman has no messes she also waits three months. Some scholars use this verse to justify the marriage to Ayesha at 6 or 9 because a child doesn't have menses yet. These scholars have taken this verse out of context by ignoring the other verse of the Qur'an I quoted that defines a woman in the Qur'an as Harth, meaning she's reached the age of puberty. So when Allah is talking about a woman who doesn't have menses is talking about a woman who has reached the age of puberty but she has some medical issues whereby her menses are abnormal. In these comments I summarised hoping people will understand the Qur'an is clear that nikkah or marriage is only to a woman which is defined by the Qur'an as reaching puberty and possessing mental maturity.
@@TheRoundtable_RTG it is very simple bro open up the Qur'an and look at the verses I quoted. Allah has explained it very clearly. All we have to do is connect the dots by connecting the verses together in harmony. You don't need to go outside of the Qur'an on this issue because the Qur'an is very explicit and clear. If you are looking at the Hadith text know it is not the word of Allah so the Qur'an will always judge the hadith text.
@@Nellytheelephant2012 yes I understand. It’s just difficult when scholars purport the Hadith and then try to explain it away with arguments such as fallacy of presentism and anachronism-which contradicts the notion of RasulAllah being the best of all men. Instead, the only reasonable defense would be to stand by his actions as Sunna, end of discussion. But when they try to make arguments to reason for it, it makes it seem like they agree his actions were questionable. But I’ll do search on verses that declare what a woman is.
@@TheRoundtable_RTG mashallah you can think. Bro they wouldn't dare say it is sunnah and they know that. Instead they are trying to defend the shaih status of the text and I'm doing so they have to suppress the Qur'an and sunnah. If they say it is sunnah then they must be ready to fulfill the sunnah and marry a child of 6 or 9. They won't yet attribute it to the prophet. The Qur'an is the absolute truth that prevails over all false assumptions. I was confused before but when I went to the Qur'an I realised on this issue there is no need for tafsir or taweel by anyone because the Qur'an itself clearly distinguished a woman from a girl. All we had to do is simply look at the different verses
So regardless of how you rationalize this, isn't still weird for a grown man of any time period to be sexually attracted to a 9 year old? Let's say that women were married off earlier because people died at age 35 on average, it would still be weird to be attracted to a child wouldn't it?
Whoever rejects this rejects human history and is also a fool when it comes to history Marriage later than puberty marked the lower classes and poor financial ability in ancient Europe, while The upper classes and wealthy merchants etc tended to marry younger as they had the means to house themselves and provide for a family at a younger age. The legal age of consent to marriage was twelve for girls and fourteen for boys, though betrothal might be arranged at a younger age by ambitious parents. Lady Margaret Beaufort (Countess of Richmond and Derby), mother of Henry VII of England, married as a seven *7* year old girl Queen Isabella of Valois, daughter of Charles VI of France, married Richard II of England as a second wife when she was six *6* years old girl The problem is that scientists say: "There was no such thing as adolescence, And our generation now has adolescence that continues to the age of 25, And It increases generation after generation"
The A'isha Pedophilia argument is allways brought up by uneducated fools, who doesnt know nothing about history. Most of their grandparents would considered as pedophiles or at least they would be the product of child marriage to our nowadays standards, so ? We all are the product of "pedoohilia" if we look when our grandparents or at least grandgrandparents married
So you recognize Aisha was 6 years old. It is a fact hadith Muslim says that she was 18 years old when the prophet died. Sahih Muslim book 8 number 3331 ‘Aisha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah’s Apostle (May peace be upon him) married her when she was seven years old, and he was taken to his house as a bride when she was nine, and her dolls were with her; and when he (the Holy Prophet) died she was eighteen years old.
This makes my head hurt. It's so funny you all defending pedphilia by citing others (Monarchs and other religions) doing it as well. Can't you understand the point is that there's difference between your Muhammad who claim holiness while the other peds (who I'm diagusted as well) don't.
4:36 what exactly is the difference both definitions which he stated himself both have to do with holding a standard for people before us. I might’ve missed something but Both terms equaled the same meaning so idk
Non-Muslims, tell me about Aisha, other than she was 9 when she got married. Come on, enlighten us, what's her story? How many Hadith does she narrate? What was her experience with the Prophet (saaws) like and Islam? The reality is you have NO idea who Aisha (ra) even is yet you put words in her mouth!
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah married me when I was six, and consummated the marriage with me when I was nine, and I used to play with dolls." Grade: Sahih (Darussalam) Reference : Sunan an-Nasa'i 3378

21:29 Even if we assume that Aisha had the fastest developing brain in human history, just so happened to want what had been preordained for her, and that she was miraculously dilated by Allah (or that Momo was small), a gargantuan amount of harm has still resulted from this kind of thing becoming sunnah, and Allah would have known the consequences in advance. Further more, what are the hadith/ayat that clearly establish a more reasonable standard by which these people can be judged?
Clinging on that Hadith in Bukhari for dear life even though it contradicts clear Qur'an verses. You Salafi's are making more people leave Islam than you realise.
The sole reason why you have an issue with Aisha's recorded age is because of modern indoctrination, if you had been born prior to the 20th century you wouldn't have given this issue second thought. Liberal/modernist Muslims are sheep.
In Christianity and Judaism, there is no age limits in Bible, which is why kids as young as 5 were getting married in Christian countries in the West. 1. Professor of history Margaret Wade Labarge “It needs to be remembered that many Medieval widows were not old, Important heiresses were often married between the ages of 5 and 10 and might find themselves widowed while still in their teens.” [1] 2. Professor Richard Wortley and Professor Stephen Smallbone, both of whom state that prior to the 1900s girls married very young, “In Medieval and early modern European societies, the age of marriage remained low, with documented cases of brides as young as seven years, although marriages were typically not consummated until the girl reached puberty (Bullough 2004). Shakespeare’s Juliet was just 13, and there is no hint in the play that this was considered to be exceptional. The situation was similar on the other side of the Atlantic; Bullough reports the case in 1689 of a nine-year-old bride in Virginia. At the start of the nineteenth century in England, it was legal to have sex with a 10 year-old girl.” Richard A. Posner is chief judge of the U.S court of appeals, Seventh Circuit Chicago. Katherine B. Silbaugh is associate Professor at Boston University School of Law, they say that before the 1900s age of consent was ten years old, “The law governing the age of consent has changed dramatically in the United States during this century. In fact, until the mid 1960s, the legal age of consent in Delaware was 7 (Kling, 1965: 216). So a 50 year old man could legally have sexual intercourse with a 7 year old boy or girl.” Maureen Dabbagh is a writer and author. If your Quran is a true revelation of God, then there will not have to be any effort from outside material (which was written after your prophet was murdered for his evil ways) to back track, override, twist the actual word's and manipulate your own interpretation instead of taking your god allah at his words?
26:20 i want a response to this, consequently wrong because of the harm factor: younger females are at a higher risk when it comes to bearing children. Not to mention Aisha's body wouldn't have fully developed at nine to eighteen years yet.
If Aisha was an adult when she got married Mohammed wouldnt have let her play with the dolls, because they were haram as they look like idols. In addition, when you look at Omar-Ummugulsm marriage, ummugulsum got married when she was 11-12 years old. However, her father Ali didnt approve this marriage at fist saying that her daughter was just a 11-12 year old child. So, according to Ali, 11-12 year old people were considered to be CHILD back then.
She also played with dolls when she was 30, also her father wanted to decline because shr was already engaged to someone else bro, how ever there family pulled out scared she would convert her son,
when Aisha ra played with her benaat she was 14/15 years old. ibn hajar explained this in his fathul baari. he supports this claim with the narration of abu dawood which states that this incident happened after khaybar or tabuk. at this period Aisha ra is 14/15/16 years old. and another narration confirms that she was not a child: Aisha ra said: when a young girl reaches 9 years old, she’s an adult woman. narrated by al-bayhaqi and al-tirmidhi. I repeat this again: the 9 year old of that time IS NOT the same as the 9 year old of our time. that assumption is a fallacy called anachronism.
That quote in Numbers from the Bible does not indicate at all that those girls were at such a young age like mentioned of Aisha based on Islamic documents. This “Gotcha!” argument is weaker than hot sauce from San Francisco. Aisha said herself she was 6 or 7 at marriage and 9 or 10 at conception. Even Muslims that claim that she was 16 or 17 STILL say that there’s the possibility she may have been 6 at marriage and 9 at conception. Not only that, but Galatians 5: 1-15 in the Bible states that all the laws of Moses are no longer applicable, which included the 10 Commandments. However, 9 out of the 10 Commandments are mentioned again in the New Testament. I’ll admit, even Christians get this wrong. God did give out instructions in Genesis, before Moses, that still apply today. Examples, “Be fruitful and multiply” and “For any man or best that kills another human, their life must be taken by human hands.” You’re good man, but you ain’t that good.
It also doesn't mean the men were going to rape them. They were spared because they were innocent, unlike the women. That's the whole reason their virginity is brought up at all. It's embarrassing to cherry pick the way he does.
@@sia9907 The funny thing is I just learned about a quote from the Bible that states exactly what happened to those women. Basically, the captive women could be married after a month of them morning for their lost ones in battle. If the marriage didn’t workout, the captive women would be set free.
@@sia9907 Found it. “Suppose you go out to war against your enemies and the Lord your God hands them over to you, and you take some of them as captives. And suppose you see among the captives a beautiful woman, and you are attracted to her and want to marry her. If this happens, you may take her to your home, where she must shave her head, cut her nails, and change the clothes she was wearing when she was captured. She will stay in your home, but let her mourn for her father and mother for a full month. Then you may marry her, and you will be her husband and she will be your wife. But if you marry her and she does not please you, you must let her go free. You may not sell her or treat her as a slave, for you have humiliated her.” Deuteronomy 21:10-14 NLT Let me know if you see a counter argument, but I can’t find one. Basically sounds like to me we treated them with respect under the circumstances.
You said if an athiest says that Aisha marrying the Prohphet at 9 years of age is consequentially wrong then they have the burden of proof; which is to prove that marriage was harmful to Aisha. How does a 9 year old decide what is harmful or not. In the western culture, this would be grooming because a minor does not have the mental capacity to decide for themselves and solely being used by the schemes of the adults. if you say there are many evidence that Aisha was happy with it then can you say that children who are brainwashed to commit suicide bombing, are they happy or not? they are also happy, i guess why they willingly motivated to do this is because they are brainwashed and dont know any better.
That's not true actually. A handful of 9 year old females have the mental ability to consent to sex or not. If a 9 year old knows what sex is and has been surrounded by it in popular culture then why couldn't we say she has the capacity to determine if she is okay with it or not. By the way I would agree that a grown man having intercourse with a 9 year old is wrong 99.9% of the time...I'm just making an argument from reason. The question is more of have they hit puberty rather than if they have the mental capacity to consent(although both are obviously important).
Mahomet's enemies spread false narration about Aisha being nine or six years old, but Muhammad himself was never quoted as stating anything like this. It is from those unreliable sources that we hear about Muhammad marrying a young girl of nine named Aisha, when in essence, Aisha was nineteen at the time of betrothal. Muhammad had no reported scandals in his youth, and at the age of 25, he married an elderly widow named Khadeejah. It is obvious that he did not marry her for sexual gratification but for love and mutual respect. Of all the accusations laid against Muhammad, his critics love to accuse him of pedophilia. They say that Muhammad was a pedophile or a child molester because he allegedly married a young girl. This accusation is made to de-legitimize the authority of prophet Muhammad as a moral and spiritual guide. So, Islam-bashers and Muslim-haters have a field day when they play the pedophilia card in a debate. Arab historians say Aisha was sixteen years old at the time of betrothal and was married at the age of nineteen, but that Mahomet never consummated any of his marriage beside the first marriage with an old woman.
this "problem" is only a "problem" for the 1980 - 2022+ generation. the point is that 1400 years passed and no one made a peep about this, because this was common practice - EVERYWHERE. "brainwashed" referes to something that someone is manipulated into doing that is harmful for them but they are made to believe that is good. Trying to compare blowing yourself up and MARRIAGE is hardly logical. so, right back at you... why is marriage a bad thing? In case you forgot I already told you this was common practice in the entire globe.
What is a minor ?Can you define that ANTHROPOLOGICALLY? Because the Definitions that you will get will be anachronistic , unless you approach the issue anthropologically because this was Common practise in every Part of the World in the pre-enlightenment period , and even the Post enlightenment in many Western countries , NO ONE , again NO ONE objected to this because it was Common practise and to marry at that age because men and women matured very early compared to today.
I didn’t quite understand their stance but i hope they have changed to that she was older as per mufti abu layth - and hope they change their stance on the book bukhari (potential mistakes) and not equate it to the quran
I want to appeal to all the brothers and sisters who are asked this question every day, on the Internet and in their lives (despite the fact that the founders of philosophy, poets and writers had young wives between the ages of 8 and 18 and mistresses for the rest of their lives, and everyone continues to do this). to do this). read their books). Don't worry, because even if Khadija were his only wife, atheists, unbelieving Christians would find something in our religion that could be blamed on us, such prohibitions as alcohol, adultery, polygamy, monotheism, praying 5 times a day, listening to music, etc., even in this case, they would not leave us until we stopped calling ourselves "Muslims". Allah said in Surah 2/120 of the Qur'an: "The Jews and Christians will not be pleased with you if you do not adhere to their religion. Say, "The way of Allah is a straight path." But if you indulge their desires after knowledge has come to you, then Allah will not be your protector or helper." They will never be happy with us, so it's better to focus on our actions now.
Why is a man discussing sexual activity of a grown man with a young girl.? A woman should be addressing this topic. I find this very uncomfortable listening to grown men talking and laughing about sexual abuse of a child. Not Good.
. ● 2) Another hadith in Al-Bukhari specifies the age of the Mother of the Believers, Aisha. Al-Bukhari (Bab - Jewar of Abu Bakr during the time of the Prophet) reported that (Aisha) said: I have never thought of my parents except when they are professing the religion, and not a day passes for us without the Messenger of God coming to us both ends of the day in the morning and the evening, and when the Muslims were afflicted, Abu Bakr went out, migrating toward Abyssinia). Then (Aisha) says that she did not understand her parents except when they were religiously professed, and that before the migration of Abyssinia as I mentioned, and she Said that the Prophet used to come to their home every day, which shows that she was rational for these visits, and what is certain is that the migration of Abyssinia was unanimous among the history books in the year (5) From the beginning of the Prophet’s mission, which corresponds to the year (615 AD), The narration that was mentioned in Sahih al-Bukhari, which indicates events that occurred before the fourth year of the mission and that Aisha (MOB) narrated, indicates that Aisha was present before the fourth year of the mission started, and not only existed, but she was at the height of her awareness and understanding, enabling her to narrate the events of a story that occurred In this way and this means: If we assume that Aisha (Mother of the believers) was at least 5 to 7 years old before the fourth year of the mission, as it's realisticly and practicly impossible. This means that her age when the Messenger Married to her in the second year of the Hijra, cannot be in any way less than 15 to 17 years at least, and this undermines the narration that says that it was 9 years old from its roots!

Aisha was 9, it’s clear to see and it’s authentic. Do not deny it because the enemies of Islam try to use it against us because once you understand it, it’s simple: A’isha was the same height as the Prophet, she was not what a typical 9 year old in the 21st century would look like: I (A’isha) said: Yes. I stood behind him (the prophet) with his face parallel to my face. (Sahih Muslim 892 e) *Literally* “between his ear and his shoulder.” (Bukhari and Muslim) She was grown and mature. This is how quickly they’d mature and become adults.
@ First of all, we must say that every person is a child of his time. It is clear that depending on the time and place, changes are taking place in the way of life and traditions of each nation and nation. For example, our grandfathers said: "at thirteen - the owner of the family." From this point of view, the fact that most of my mother and sisters, who became brides in the middle of the last century, were 13-14 years old - although it is surprising for modern youth, is not surprising for us. Therefore, when evaluating a particular period and the actions of the people who lived at that time, the reality and culture of that era should be taken as a basis. Only then will a fair assessment be given. From this point of view, during the life of the revered Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), it was normal to give birth to girls early. The second thing to consider: according to scientists, the physiological maturity of a girl also depends on climatic conditions. It turns out that girls in hot places are more likely to have a baby than residents in cold places. Given this, even if we stopped at the opinion that "Aisha was 9 years old at that time," Abu Bakrdey's father had the right to marry his daughter, who was in puberty… So, let's pay attention to other details regarding the determination of age. According to such a qualified historian and scientist as Ibn Hisham, our mother Aisha, as a child, after the first open propaganda (the 3rd year of the prophecy), immediately became one of the first to believe with her sister Asma. Also in the work of Imam Nawawi "Takhzibul Asma "and in the book of Hakim" Mustadrak " it is said that at that time Asma was 15 years old and that he was born in 595. From this it becomes clear that Asma accepted Islam in the first (610 BC) year of the prophecy. That is, it is clear that at that time Aisha was already at the age of 4-7 years, when our mother understood the word. Hazrat Aisha was at a level where our mother could understand the verses that came down in the early years of Mecca. He could even memorize them and tell them. For example on verses related to drinking and adultery: "If it had been ordered in the first judgment, the Arabs would have refused to comply, "he said, "When I was a girl playing a game in Mecca," without a doubt, the hour (the day of resurrection) is a promised term set for them. And he said that the hour is too heavy, too bitter" (Surah"Kamar", verse 46). According to the research of scientists, it is said that this Surah fell in the 4th (614), 8th (618) or 9th (619) years of the prophecy. Taking into account the event of the split of the moon, scientists give priority to the fact that it is the 614th year of the year. That is, even according to these data, it becomes clear that our mother Aisha was born in the early years of the prophecy. "I was a girl who played games in those days, "said Aisha, referring to the time when our mother married the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). In this message, the word "girl" is pronounced in Arabic as "public". And it turns out that the word" public "- in our opinion, means" girl". Scientists note that the word" public "is used to refer to young girls aged 7-11 years (Ibn Manzur,"Lisanul Arab"). So, taking into account the information about the aforementioned Surah "Qamar", considering the age of our mother Aisha at that time, with a minimum size of 7, it is determined that this person was born at least 3 years before the prophecy. In one of the memories of Mecca, our mother Aisha: "I remember my parents were religious. "I don't know," he said, " but I don't know what to say." And Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him!) Considering that he intended to move to Abyssinia in the 5th year of the prophecy, and from the above words of our mother, he was old enough to assess what was happening around him at that time, the age will be determined again. If we say that our mother "got married at the age of 9", then according to this calculation, it turns out that the man was born in the 4th year of the prophecy. So, keep thinking: Can a 1-year-old girl understand, remember the above situation?..
Here's the problem I have with this, the bible was written over 1000 years before the Quran and Jesus warns us of false prophets who will come after him. Jesus was without sin and sacrificed himself, so how can I take the word of "prophet" who came over 1000 year after him who had sex with a 9 year old? I can't see how you call him a holy man?
Because nothing that the prophet did was immoral. On the other hand , how can we trust a religion that doesn't even have its main scripture preserved, this is the real issue.

At the end of the day, it's a non-issue. God won't ask us on the day of judgement what age we thought Aisha was. Whether she was 18 or 9, it's not essential to whether you are a good person or not
The issue is not are "you a good person" but whether Muhammad was a good person or whether allah is good. Having sex with a nine year old suggests serious moral defects, Yes?
I played with dolls until I was 13 . Why not use the age that some people played with toys or dolls . they are sometimes 15 or even older. Either way Allah is our creator and if Allah chose for you to marry at 9 or 13 or 20 or 50 then I will do that. It is also a test for us to see that aisha RA was very mature she understood and read the Quran. She also was young so that she can teach people that were around her age and continue after prophet Mohammed pbu it was meant to be that way and she taught long after Mohammad pbuh returned to Allah (swt) let’s say for example you have a garden but you know you are reaching the end of your life but you want someone that will be as caring and knowledgeable in continuing to care for your plants even after you are gone and you know someone and are close to them and their family and you trust them with your garden. You teach them when to water them how to protect them. This person is about 30 years younger than you. Only Allah knows how long they will live. But there is a chance if god willing they will live a long time after you returned to Allah (swt) you will also want to protect them and both of you have so much love for this garden and can name each plant or flower you have planted so you become so attached and so important to one another and to the garden that you are inseparable. Because of your connection after you are gone your partner or wife or husband has continued your work and love for this garden and have also taught many many others what you were taught to teach how to grow and care for your garden anyways our creator has always loved us so much and wanted us to learn from one another to care for one another to protect each other whatever message Allah sent to our prophets pbut was always to guid us to him.
Only girls who haven't hit puberty are allowed to play with dolls in Islam. Do you even read the Quran? Seems like outsiders read it more than scholars themselves
Life expectancy was only somewhere over 35 years. Meaning people had to have kids earlier to keep humanity going. Also the Arabian peninsula was literally right in the middle of 2 warring empires. Wars back then relied heavily on man power. As a society they had to maintain a population that was adequate for defence. That included having children earlier
@@Just.a.person_413 More like I assume it would be pretty young for men in average, bc including soldiers would mess up the average data. I would personally want more intricate data, like what was it like for soldiers vs other occupations that were safer like shop-keepers and merchants.
Average life expectancy is based on an average, if 50% of ppl die at 1 and 50% live till 60 the average life expectancy will be 30, the average age people would live to would be around 60-70, but alot of people would also die at infancy and very young
@Andaman wali bulbul Yet most of my grandparents lived beyond that 33. In fact most were into their late 60s. Like I said, we need more intricate data. separate soldiers and safer occupations.
As a Muslim, my advice to you is to never use the garbage “life expectancy” argument. People back then on average had a slightly shorter life expectancy but this argument that people had to get married as soon as they reach puberty or otherwise civilization would “collapse” is of course false or otherwise ancient philosophers like Aristotle would not say that the ideal age for a girl to get married is 18 and for a boy, 37. Also Aisha رضي الله عنها never had children and all his other wives were way older than her when they first married the Prophet ﷺ so this argument is easily going to collapse when you analyze it from multiple angles.
● The evidences are as follows: ● 1) The date of the revelation of Surat Al-Qamar determines the age of Aisha (MOB): It came in Sahih al-Bukhari on the authority of Yusuf ibn Mahek, who said: “At the time of Aisha, the mother of the believers, she said: It was revealed to Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and I am a Maid. 《Rather, the hour is their time and the hour is worse and more important》knowing Surat Al-Qamar was revealed in the sixth or seventh year before the Hijra and the Messenger, peace be upon him, married her in the second year of the Hijra. If we believed the narrations that specify the age of nine years, this would mean that Surat al-Qamar was revealed while she was a baby, not a maid. She plays as she said in this hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari. Facts: Surat Al-Qamar was revealed at the beginning of the Prophet’s mission in Makkah. And a maid, is not a child, meaning her age is more than 10 years or adolescence. If her age is 10 years, at the time of marriage in the second year of migration will be more than 20 years at least

In those times, you were an Adult once you reach the onset of puberty, not once you have “completed” puberty. In Judaism for example, a girl who has reached the *onset* of puberty at age 12 for example would automatically be considered an Adult, likewise it’s the same in Islam.
I hope that UK child protective services are keeping an eye on this guy. He says in another video that he sees no problem in having intercourse with 13 year olds.
This's P.a.r.t.5 Was the mother of the believers Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her 9 years old when got married to the Messenger of Allah, or was she over 21 years old?) ▪︎ Pleased read (part 1, 2, 3 and 4) first ● 15) Analysis/Criticism of the so called hadiths in question supports (Claiming 9 years old): The Alledged hadith in which mentioned the age of (Aisha) came from five paths, all of which go back to a man called (Hisham bin Urwa), as Ibn Hajar said in (Hadi al-Sari) and (al-Tahdheeb): “Abd al-Rahman bin Yusuf bin Kharash said, and Malik (Madhab Al-Maliki) did not accept him/his narations, he was informed that Malik objected his narations to the people of Iraq - he came to Kufa three times - First - he used to say: My father told me, he said I heard Aisha, and he came the second, and he used to say: My father told me about Aisha, and he came to the third, and he used to say: on the authority of my father on the authority of Aisha. The meaning is simply that (Hisham Ibn Urwa) was a sincere person in Medina, then when he went to Iraq, his memorization of the hadith began to get worse and he began to (pervert/mix information) that is to attribute the hadith to other than the narrator, then he began to say (on) my father, instead of (I heard or told me), and in knowledge The hadith is the word (heard) or (tell me) is stronger than the narrator's saying (on the authority of so-and-so), and the hadith in Al-Bukhari thus says in it Hisham on (my father) and not (I heard or told me), which confirms the doubt about the authenticity of the hadith, then the most important point is that the imam (Malik) said: The hadith of (Hisham) in Iraq is not accepted, so if we apply this to the hadith that Al-Bukhari produced, we will find that it is verified. The hadith was not seen by a single narrator from Medina, but all of them are Iraqis, which proves that (Hisham bin Urwa) had narrated it in Iraq after His memorization worsened, and it is inconceivable for (Hisham) to stay in Medina for a long life and he does not mention a hadith like this even once, so we do not find any mention of the age of Mother of the believers Aisha, when she married the Prophet in the book (Al-Muwatta) of Imam Malik, who was the one who saw and heard (Hisham Ibn Urwa) directly in Medina. So with these grave problems these two ailments to doubt the supports of Hicham's narration. Among the shortcomings of his narations is the fact that some authentic narrations have appeared in al-Sahih al-Bukhari from ways in which Hisham does not appear. ▪︎ The Simple truth is many researches believe the Narations of (Hicham Ibn Urwa) was altered/Manupulated from mentioning Aisha (MOB) was born years before the Message starts, to that she was born years before Hijra. ● 16) These are Analysis/Criticism of the Alleged narations of (Hicham Ibn Urwa) from books of hadith and biography: Ibn Katheer - may God have mercy on him - said in the beginning and the end (3/37): (Ibn Ishaq listed the names of the early companions of the Companions, may God be pleased with them, he said Abu Ubaidah, Abu Salamah, Al-Arqam bin Abi Al-Arqam, Othman bin Maza'un, Ubaidah bin Al-Harith and Saeed bin became Muslim. Zaid and his wife, Fatima bint Al-Khattab, Asma daughter of Abi Bakr, and Aisha daughter of Abi Bakr.. That Ibn Ishaq said: Then God commanded His Messenger, after three years of the mission, to announce the message with what He was commanded, and to be patient on the harm of the polytheists. He said, and the companions of the Messenger of God, when they prayed, went in the reefs and hid their prayers among their people. As Saad bin Abi Waqas in a group of people praying in the reefs of Mecca when some polytheist appeared on them denounced them and reproached them. The researchers concluded from this narration that it indicates that (Aisha) the household of Abu bakr, embrace Islam before the Prophet announced the call in the year 3, while the Mother of the belivers Aisha was (4) at least. Fact: It is correct that the house of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq was the first to embrace Islam at the very beginning of the Prophet's mission on the first year. And even if the lowest estimate is taken (Not the case) in the year (4), which is equivalent to the year (614AD), meaning that she believed in at least the year (3), that is, in the year (613AD), so if (Aisha) according to (Bukhari's) narration was born in the year (4) From the beginning of the revelation, this means that she was not on the surface of the earth when the Prophet spoke out in the call in the year (4) of the beginning of the da'wah, or that she was a new born baby, and this contradicts all the evidence received. but a proper account of her age confirms that she was born in at least (4) year before The beginning of the revelation, meaning the year (606AD), which implies that her age when pronouncing the call in year (614AD) equals (8) years, which is consistent with the correct timeline of events and invalidates the well-known/Fabricated narration of the age at the marriage. Because the prophet (pbuh) came to visit her father often.

9 yrs av weight 62.0 lb (28.1 kg), av height 52.5" (133.3 cm)
20 yrs av weight 128.0 lb (58.0 kg) av height 64.3" (163.3 cm)
The difference in weight between a 20yr woman and 9 yr girl = 29.9 kg, 65.9 lb
The difference in height between a 20 yr woman and a 9 yr girl = 30cm, 11.8”

Tell us why does a man marry a woman?
1/ Because he falls in love?
2/ Because he finds her personality to his liking and likes talking and discussing with her, companionship?
3/ Because he wants to have a family?
The truth is Muhammad could not do any of these things with Aisha, why? Because she was a child, too young for love, too young for companionship, to young to have a family
So why did Muhammad want a 9 yr old bride? Could it be he was a pedophile?
There have always been men marrying very young girls, yes that’s right.

Historical analysis of the novel:
1. As mentioned, the consummation of their marriage took place three years later, a few months towards the end of the first year of the migration, which was in the year 624 CE.

first of all different situations call for different laws the same law wont be applied to every situation because of the completely different circumstances, 1400 years ago there were so many reasons for it. such as tribal disputes the average age of death being 30-50 max, and so many more. you can’t use the same laws of society today and apply them 1400 years ago because of the vastly different circumstances, not only that but only 100 years ago they did the same even though they didn’t have barely enough reasoning as 1400 years ago. I’m not saying just because it was normal back then means it’s okay.. Im saying that the vastly different circumstances give reasoning for it to be morally correct, as long as those same circumstances are there, if not.. then it will not be allowed and would be morally wrong, if yes.. We do not bend to liberal moral standards !
There are many Hadith, in English, about Aisha's age they generally state as this Hadith does :
"It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah married her when she was six years old, and consummated the marriage with her when she was nine."
Grade: Sahih (Darussalam)
Reference : Sunan an-Nasa'i 3255
It is graded as Sahih by some, but that is wrong.
In The Holy Qur'an Allah says
"...Marry who seem good to you from THE WOMEN...' 4:3
Marry THE WOMEN NOT CHILDREN.
Extra knowledge:
The fourth chapter, The Women, starts with
"O' Mankind…" 4:1
and therefore the address is to Mankind.
In Hadith 10 from 40 Hadith an-Nawawi
It is noted that :
"Verily Allah commanded The Believers* because He commanded with it The Messengers and
Allah said "O' The Messengers Eat from The Good and Act Righteously"
and He said "O' Those who Believe* Eat from The Good which We provided you"..."
We note that Allah addresses The Messengers separately from The Believers* and this is true throughout the Qur'an.
Therefore, Allah begins Chapter 4 with :
"O' Mankind…" 4:1
and the address is to Mankind and excludes The Messenger, Muhammad, Peace be upon him.
As the chapter continues it still addresses Mankind and says :
"...Marry who seem good to you from THE WOMEN...' 4:3
This address is part of the address to Mankind and not to The Messenger Muhammad, Peace be upon him, who is excluded from this address.
However, Further along in The Chapter, The Women, Allah says :
"Allah wishes to make clear for you and guide you to The Practices of those from before you…" 4:26
In this verse which is still addressing Mankind Allah says He makes clear for you, Mankind, and guides you, Mankind, to The Practices of those from before you, and The practices of those before you is to, as Allah says :
"...Marry who seem good to you from THE WOMEN...' 4:3
and those before you are The Prophets.
All The Prophets from before their practice was to marry Women NOT children exonerating them from any and all blame.
and Allah says :
"...Never will you find in The Practice of Allah A Changing…" 35:43 and there are other verses from elsewhere in The Quran.
Allah makes clear and guides Mankind to The Practice of those before us namely The Prophets and The Practice of Muhammad, Peace be upon him, in which there was no change in that practice from before to :
"...Marry who seem good to you from THE WOMEN...' 4:3
Marry THE WOMEN NOT THE CHILDREN.
There is more evidence but it would make this too long.
Thank you so much brother for providing this information, I know my response is 3 months late but I really wish to know
I'll quote you here
"These Hadith were transmitted by Hishaam ibn Urwa or sometimes it's just stated Hishaam, one and the same person."
"When Hishaam grew old his memory suffered very badly and it was then that he transmitted these Hadith. "
How do you know those two statements to be correct? I would love a verification on this as it would help me immensely.

You don't consider your 6year old son/daughter a kid?
Bro ..

I copied and pasted the rest of this, but it drives the point home:
Asadallah Ali who is not longer in the dawah scene unfortunately said this, and I think it perfectly talks to the morons who still try to make the Age of Aisha (RA) an issue:
"Muhammad is always perfect because he dealt with the conditions of his time in a perfectly moral way.

Infants may be contracted by their guardians.

Aisha(r.a.) married with Prophet(s.a.v.), when she was around her 18.
There are several authentic hadith narrations about the age of certain woman which seems contradicting with each other. And, we can find several examples on these contradictions;
1 - Some narrations says Khadija(r.a.) was 28, some says 40, during her marriage
2 - Some narrations says Aisha(r.a.) was 9, some imply she was 17, during her marriage
3 - Some narrations says Esma(r.a.) died when she was 100, some says around 90s
...

I forgot the hadith but I remember that marriage is the half of the religion, cmiiw. It is so important that even marrying at young age is not a problem! When you look at it in that perspective the marriage of Khadijah RA and Muhammad SAW or Aisha RA and Muhammad SAW make sense! No matter how old you are when you have the chance to get married, you should get married! The reason of getting married is important is because of its family values, something that is lost in the liberal world. You see many men and women dies alone in their apartment with no one knowing. You see woman getting used as sex object by many men. You see abortion. You see all the worst things that could happen to a society. Things like that could be only solved with marriage! But of course, the liberal world make it harder and harder to get married as if it is want to destroy humanity itself.
Quran 4:6 specifies “hatha idha balagun nikah” which is “reaching the marriageable age” and mental maturity ('rushd') which obviously rules out the idea that you can marry children. Quran 4:19 says women cannot be inherited against their will; “forcing children would be even worse since they can’t even consent”. Islam not just mandates consent but also advocates an age of consent.
And what about quran 4:3 ?
And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. One big reason Aisha (r.a) was married is that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) knew she would relate many hadith, she was smart and would ask the right questions, and was a challanging wife (in a good way), so that the marriage was a good example for many muslims later on. And she was one of the latest to die (678), she had time to relate speech to later generations.

but Muhammad is supposed to be the pinnacle of humanity, someone we should all replicate, why would he want to have sex with a 9 year old when he was in his 50s. I am just looking for answers.
@@m1j100_
Firstly, Muhammad (pbuh) did not 'want' to have intercourse with a 9 year old.
No? 🙄

I’m Muslim but we can’t defend it because the Hadith in bukari regarding her age is wrong and one of the reasons why enemies of Islam use to attack character of the prophet pbuh. I’m not a Shia but even Shia don’t agree she was 6
So what parts of Hadith are wrong? Just the parts you don't agree with? So you can custom make your own religion?
A person must be aqil and baligh, no custom can overrule that. And the person must consent and know what that involves. The hadith are questionable at best and go against the primacy of the rule. According to the Hanafi mazhab a female can make her own wedding contract and a child can't, so do with that what you will. Also, this hadith has been abused by people to abuse children. May Allah ta'ala protect us and let us understand rahmatalilaalameen and not pretend zulm is from rahma. Instead we should be more objective in our approach and start applying reason to analysis of hadith literature.
May Allah bless you and reward you for this lecture.
Some people use a solitary verse in the Qur'an to justify the Hadith to marry a girl of 6
Surah At Talaq 65:4: such of your women as have passed the age of monthly menstral cycles, for them them the prescribed period.... For those who have no menstral courses it is the same....
Such a woman who doesn't have her monthly menses either be one of two things.
1. She has not reached the age of puberty hence a child of 9
Or
2. A woman who suffers from abnormal menseses
Which of the two is the Qur'an refering to?
The Qur'an defines Nisa as Harth meaning a field which is ploughed so that seed can be planted with the hope that they will fertilise to grow and and produce crop:
Al-Baqarah, 2: 223 ...your women are your Harth meaning tilth or field: go, then unto your tilth as you may desire...
@@TheRoundtable_RTG as-salamu alaykum Brother
The verse of divorce is within context.
Whoever rejects this rejects human history and is also a fool when it comes to history
Marriage later than puberty marked the lower classes and poor financial ability in ancient Europe, while The upper classes and wealthy merchants etc tended to marry younger as they had the means to house themselves and provide for a family at a younger age. “In Medieval and early modern European societies, the age of marriage remained low, with documented cases of brides as young as seven years, although marriages were typically not consummated until the girl reached puberty (Bullough 2004). Shakespeare’s Juliet was just 13, and there is no hint in the play that this was considered to be exceptional. The situation was similar on the other side of the Atlantic; Bullough reports the case in 1689 of a nine-year-old bride in Virginia. At the start of the nineteenth century in England, it was legal to have sex with a 10 year-old girl.”

“In 1962, the American Law Institute recommended that the legal age of consent to sex- that is, the age below which sex is defined as statutory rape- be dropped in every state to age 10 (Katchadourian and Lund 1972: 439). In fact, until the mid 1960s, the legal age of consent in Delaware was 7 (Kling, 1965: 216). So a 50 year old man could legally have sexual intercourse with a 7 year old boy or girl.”

26:20 i want a response to this, consequently wrong because of the harm factor:
younger females are at a higher risk when it comes to bearing children.
She also played with dolls when she was 30, also her father wanted to decline because shr was already engaged to someone else bro, how ever there family pulled out scared she would convert her son,
when Aisha ra played with her benaat she was 14/15 years old. ibn hajar explained this in his fathul baari. he supports this claim with the narration of abu dawood which states that this incident happened after khaybar or tabuk. at this period Aisha ra is 14/15/16 years old. and another narration confirms that she was not a child:
Aisha ra said: when a young girl reaches 9 years old, she’s an adult woman. narrated by al-bayhaqi and al-tirmidhi.
Examples, “Be fruitful and multiply” and “For any man or best that kills another human, their life must be taken by human hands.”
You’re good man, but you ain’t that good.

You may not sell her or treat her as a slave, for you have humiliated her.”
Deuteronomy 21:10-14 NLT
Let me know if you see a counter argument, but I can’t find one. Basically sounds like to me we treated them with respect under the circumstances.
The irony about this whole video is what you’re saying “what about you?” The very thing you’re saying other religions are doing
How about you do another series explaining why no 9 year old Muslim boys get married?

Say, "The way of Allah is a straight path." ● 2) Another hadith in Al-Bukhari specifies the age of the Mother of the Believers, Aisha.
Then (Aisha) says that she did not understand her parents except when they were religiously professed, and that before the migration of Abyssinia as I mentioned, and she Said that the Prophet used to come to their home every day, which shows that she was rational for these visits, and what is certain is that the migration of Abyssinia was unanimous among the history books in the year (5) From the beginning of the Prophet’s mission, which corresponds to the year (615 AD),
The narration that was mentioned in Sahih al-Bukhari, which indicates events that occurred before the fourth year of the mission and that Aisha (MOB) narrated, indicates that Aisha was present before the fourth year of the mission started, and not only existed, but she was at the height of her awareness and understanding, enabling her to narrate the events of a story that occurred In this way and this means: If we assume that Aisha (Mother of the believers) was at least 5 to 7 years old before the fourth year of the mission, as it's realisticly and practicly impossible. This means that her age when the Messenger Married to her in the second year of the Hijra, cannot be in any way less than 15 to 17 years at least, and this undermines the narration that says that it was 9 years old from its roots!

@@fififornow8031no she was 19 years old.
@@MarlenTurysbay I want to believe this. Where is the evidence?
Given this, even if we stopped at the opinion that "Aisha was 9 years old at that time," Abu Bakrdey's father had the right to marry his daughter, who was in puberty…
So, let's pay attention to other details regarding the determination of age.
For example on verses related to drinking and adultery:
"If it had been ordered in the first judgment, the Arabs would have refused to comply, "he said, "When I was a girl playing a game in Mecca," without a doubt, the hour (the day of resurrection) is a promised term set for them.
In one of the memories of Mecca, our mother Aisha:
"I remember my parents were religious. "I don't know," he said, " but I don't know what to say."
And Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him!) Considering that he intended to move to Abyssinia in the 5th year of the prophecy, and from the above words of our mother, he was old enough to assess what was happening around him at that time, the age will be determined again.
@@fbng but how cana 53 year old having sex with a 9 year old girl not be immoral lol?
@@lukeatbrandynightful Well, he married a girl at the age of nine, but did he cause harm to her, did he violate the laws in his time, did he do something that made some people turn against him? No, of course, he did not do this.
@@johnoops4633 Yes, having sex with a child of 9 will cause harm. Did he violate laws? How can you violate laws you create lol? Did anyone turn against Jimmy Saville when he was alive? Nope
@@lukeatbrandynightful A day of Christians in the Old Testament, as they believe in the New Testament, and also in the Old Testament and the New Testament, slavery has not been abolished, and there is also something in the Old Testament about slavery, and it has not been abolished, so where are morals with God in the modern era in which the West still follows Christianity, and there is another part in the book The Bible is about taking young girls as sex slaves to have sex with them and killing men NUMBERS 31:18 is immoral yes so god was immoral in Christianity or Judaism
Why are you sugarcoat it? . this is morally wrong.. people didn’t know any better then. because of his actions thousands of young girls have suffered over the years and still suffering . Don’t make it and Islamophobic issue, it’s a moral issue period
I don't believe it was that young. I would assume it was more in the 40's or 50's.
● The evidences are as follows:
● 1) The date of the revelation of Surat Al-Qamar determines the age of Aisha (MOB):
It came in Sahih al-Bukhari on the authority of Yusuf ibn Mahek, who said: “At the time of Aisha, the mother of the believers, she said: It was revealed to Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and I am a Maid.
Facts:
Surat Al-Qamar was revealed at the beginning of the Prophet’s mission in Makkah.
And a maid, is not a child, meaning her age is more than 10 years or adolescence.
If her age is 10 years, at the time of marriage in the second year of migration will be more than 20 years at least
I think a video on how most research points towards the children of gay parents doing worse would be good. You made this claim in your podcast with true Geordie but on the surface it looks like the research points towards it being fine.
Being fine? Have you not seen the 2 gay men that adopted a child and gRaped him as well as pimped him out to their friends, that was recently in the news? Wake up kiddo

I think the age is inaccurate. She was of marriage age of that time. A young adult- who completes puberty at the ages of 13-16 usually
In those times, you were an Adult once you reach the onset of puberty, not once you have “completed” puberty. In Judaism for example, a girl who has reached the *onset* of puberty at age 12 for example would automatically be considered an Adult, likewise it’s the same in Islam.
@@LeoMessi_22agreed. I'm pretty sure I didn't complete puberty until I was in my twenties with two kids 🤣

Was the mother of the believers Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her 9 years old when got married to the Messenger of Allah, or was she over 21 years old?)
▪︎ Pleased read (part 1, 2, 3 and 4) first
● 15) Analysis/Criticism of the so called hadiths in question supports (Claiming 9 years old): The Alledged hadith in which mentioned the age of (Aisha) came from five paths, all of which go back to a man called (Hisham bin Urwa), as Ibn Hajar said in (Hadi al-Sari) and (al-Tahdheeb): “Abd al-Rahman bin Yusuf bin Kharash said, and Malik (Madhab Al-Maliki) did not accept him/his narations, he was informed that Malik objected his narations to the people of Iraq - he came to Kufa three times - First - he used to say: My father told me, he said I heard Aisha, and he came the second, and he used to say: My father told me about Aisha, and he came to the third, and he used to say: on the authority of my father on the authority of Aisha.
● 16) These are Analysis/Criticism of the Alleged narations of (Hicham Ibn Urwa) from books of hadith and biography:
Ibn Katheer - may God have mercy on him - said in the beginning and the end (3/37): (Ibn Ishaq listed the names of the early companions of the Companions, may God be pleased with them, he said Abu Ubaidah, Abu Salamah, Al-Arqam bin Abi Al-Arqam, Othman bin Maza'un, Ubaidah bin Al-Harith and Saeed bin became Muslim.
