This channel is all about snipers, sniping and FPS shooters! I mainly do Battlefield Sniping but I also play Call of Duty, Battlefront and I love Battle Royale. I often play solos, duos and squads on my livestream. I have 1000 hours experience in every Battlefield and I hope to play more FPS games in 2020. I've been using High Alert in conjunction with Tracker because I am sick to death of players suddenly disappearing, like a fart in a gale, whenever my team and I push them. It was tricky not having amped at first, but ultimately I'm glad I made the change. However, I'm sure you can't live without amped.
Amped also allows you to plate up faster since you pull your Guns in and out faster

If you've got the skills to match and you're playing quads or trios, high alert is definitely worth using on the second loadout

Definitely better for less sweaty lobbies if you're chasing kills
Totally agree. It does require a much higher skillset, confidence, & play style. I also think it's also only a high advantage in trios and quads. Using it in solos and duos is a 50/50 risk/reward equation at best I think.

Restock is amazing too. Wish warzone changed up the meta a bit when it comes to UAV's in the buy station or just changing how ghost works in warzone.
Perks as a whole need to be reworked for Warzone. So many of them are completely useless.

Imagine if they just removed ghost.. That would imo solve the camping issue completely. Like without ghost camp as best as you can.. You gonna get rushed so hard with stuns and grenade.. Could jerk off to that dream of an idea :D:D:D
I've been using quick fix for quite sometime now and I have to say it has saved me multiple times. It's really a great perk when you're getting pushed by multiple people.
Quick fix on rebirth is literally a lifesaver

I have been using High alert since late last year over ghost almost every single time. And it's the most useful during solos when there are just so many campers and and players hiding around every corner. I just wish it countered Dead Silence.
Start using the compass at the top of the screen for call outs. You say things like "looking at me from the doorway" and theres like 5 buildings around you with doors, or "to my right" and your teammates have to look at your arrow, see it running and turning around, and they have to try to figure out what direction you meant by "my right"
having atleast one guy with high alert on your squad makes all the difference!
And I know who that guy is .. keep it on fire bro 🤍🔥

double time is a decent perk. can tac sprint for much longer with high alert's erratic-ness and crouch walking is the same speed as regular speed meaning you can scale buildings stealthily and quickly
Over the weekend I got the specialist token out of a common loot box in solos. High alert was actually way useful because I was able to dodge snipers camping in bushes and was notified of people coming up from behind me. Really contemplating switching from ghost to high alert. 🤔
I use quick fix and fighting a squad on your own is helped so much by the health going up between downs that extra bit is all you need sometimes and if someone gets u one shot they send the teammate in believing they’re still 1 shot to be met with a much healthier opponent then expected 😆.
True I was doing that since the start but down the line I stopped and never went back but now I’m considered to go back on it

The amount of times the Quickfix saved my arse is uncountable. Great for pushing multiple enemies at once or when you're outrunning the zone. Feels like stim glitch when you are nearly dead outrunning zone and kill someone who is running in front of you just to be able to make it into the zone safely.
I gave up of ghost for high alert a very long time ago and it has helped me in so many fights
I run Quick Fix, High Alert, Tracker. Lets me know when I'm being hunted and when I can hunt. Sometimes I run DoubleTime or Cold Blooded instead of QuickFix. depends on the mode
I use high alert, its so helpfull when your about to get sniped so you just see yellow flash from side, or back then bam you know where a sniper is

Been using it in solos over Ghost it works like a charms tend to get chaotic in quads though if you get surrounded
I love running double time ,restock and tracker. Great combo for MP5 , shotguns or Kimbo pistols. I love sniping but sometimes I want to play up close and dirty.
Double time I quit a while ago. Either I run a skvof pistol. That way you get your sniper right off the bat. And then 2nd load out switch over and swap pistol for mid range/ close quarters for when you are starting to get into closer areas.
I've never used ghost. Just always focused on seeing and hearing people rather than staying hidden from scans
Using the spotter perk it mark everything that the player places so you can see if there is someone on the building that you are pushing and you can hack it making it yours, its great for pushing bounties
I mean, the High Alert perk makes u like a hacker. The fact that it alerts you when there's someone aiming at you, and u get to cover, and then u beam them without them noticing. That's pretty dope!

One change to perks I'd like to see is Heartbeat Immunity switched to Cold Blooded, which would effectively counter people using High Alert on top of not being found on Heartbeat Sensors, but are weaker to explosions as a downside.
and still being spotted on UAVs. Great idea imo.. Sadly it will only be a dream..
Like how you’re not calling it meta or a cure-all for getting roasted repeatedly by Roze skins, rather High Alert has its place. I’ve noticed that it’s worked better with my long range classes like Kar and PKM. And the dead silence point is very solid. Great advice, thanks Stodeh!
High alert is also good for Solo sniping. Any long range loadouts really. Saved me countless times.
Ive love high alert in anything more than duos when its harder to keep all elements of gun fight under control. Only thing is you'll have a random Cold blooded person that you don't pick up.
if you're using cold blooded and aim at person using high alert.. it wont register you aiming at him ?

Until 2 months ago I never used anything else than Ghost in my second loadout. 2 months ago I started to casually go for damascus.. Now I am almost done and only need the snipers to finish it off. So I had lots of time to get used to it in multiplayer and high alert was so much more reliable than ghost that I got so used to it. Now I cant think to play without it even if I cant get ghost anymore. Like I dont care if people can spot me on UAVs as it boosts your awareness up to such a high level. Its a give and take and its definitely worth it. Thankfully it is so underrated that noone goes for coldblooded to counter it. Everyone is using EOD or Double Time which makes it perfect to use high alert.
quick fix, high alert, and amped is the way
I find high alert as in reliable, the direction is often wrong. I agree it is handy to have a person in the squad have this, but they can also give you away, as they don’t have ghost.
It also only works within 100 meters, which usually means your dead seconds after the alert. Maybe it works better with the higher FOV.
Can you please tell me what is your primary weapon and set up on that weapon please?

Cool vid! fun perk for sure. Should be noted that it's anytime you are spotted WITHIN 100m, not unlimited ranges or anything like that.
Tune up is goated not only can you revive team mates quicker but your self revives are quick so you can get up quicker and finish the enemy
I've never taken this perk off. It's a no Brainer for me. It's saved my life so many times. Great video.

I use high alert and it saved my live many times. Ghost works if you are hiding in a bush but with hight alert at least I dont die by someone with ghost in a bush.

Tracker. Budget heartbeat that works on ghosted players. If you are running a smg you still switch fast enough

Always keep in mind people using cold blooded will NOT trigger you’re high alert. I’ve been using high alert for a long time and I can say sometime you’ll be caught off guard because your high alert wasn’t triggered
In my opinion Restock is just the way to go. Always having access to lethals comes in clutch time to time.

Love this but it doesn’t always work!!! I run cold blooded! So you wouldn’t see me with my rushing class! But I am the same player as you!. I snipe and hold back, but people I play with loves to push 🤔🤷🏽♂️
This was my original perk 2 and then i moved to Ghost.

People don't use high alert because we don't have 100% competent teammates. Also you guys communicate really well together and that makes a massive difference too. HA gets you killed early game vs all the ghosters... So
That snipe in the intro was so fucking nasty. I can only imagine how the enemy's morale must have instantly evaporated.
I dont know why people dont use it, I mean I like ghost and overkill but I also use High alert based on mood and what playstyle/ loadout I wanna use
If they increased the detection radius a bit then it would be a lot more viable. Doesn’t really help with snipers, but late game it’s great.
It works to an extent,til final 2 circles when your not ghost get heartbeat to death
The problem with high alert is sometimes it shows yellow when the enemy isn't there and it throws you off.
99% off all warzone players wont optimize the footpedal like stod does haha he is the best!

I typically run my HA early and mid game but then end game- run my ghost class because sooooo many people use those baby monitors!!!! Ugh!

not sure... but I do see the yellow indication that makes me think that this was the reason for his comment. funnily the then gets hit by someone from the hill which I think was not the one who triggered the high alert... maybe high alert has a distance limit - so he knows it is not 300meter away? thus "close right"

I normally use it over ghost in anything other than solos.
Given how powerful Ghost is, I feel like High Alert needs a bit of a buff. It should work a bit beyond 100m imo. 100m is more than enough for MW MP...not warzone though.
I use it, but is very bad when you are inside of a house and against a wall and you see the mark that someone just looked at you by the wall.... hackers? Bug? Dunno hahah

high alert confuses me.. every time the indicator comes up it scares me and i dont know which direction it comes from...
I basically use ghost to stop non hackers with UAVs pushing for kills lol. I think I will switch to restock

I use it a lot and it works very well
High Alert is definitely for a higher skilled and faster reflexed/aggro player. It's way more fun than Ghost with the whole run and gun aggro play vs the camp and wait like slower Tarkov gameplay. But don't get me wrong, everyone has their tastes so I understand why folks prefer the slower and safer gameplay.
