Black Jill according to a comment. The case has said to be one of the worst case in the country. So most likely he'll be included in the assignments. I don't think the teacher assigned him to her. She probably chose him because of their similar last name. Cause if we were assigned projects normally we'd get to choose since we're the ones doing the project, not the teacher.
That is not the way thing are assigned in the Uk education system . Normally there would just be a name give to each pupil . Plus the teacher would not know that he was her father as she would not have her fathers name . I remember watching this on the news when I was in high school . He father was going out with the search party’s looking for the girls and was giving news interviews asking the public to come forward with information about the girls . It really was quite sick
Finding out your estranged parent did some sick stuff has to affect your life, especially if it involved domestic violence. The data on the ripples of repeat selection of abusive partners by the victim, observation of dysfunctional and violent relationships that children absorb as normal, then repeat when they grow up, there is a correlation from data that dv in the parents relationship raises the risk for the children to end up similarly. Hopefully this young lady doesn't struggle with it.

They orchestrated the kidnapping of the girls (Holly and Jessica) and there was a huge man hunt, it was awful. Huntley and his gf lured them into the house and we don't know what happened after but, the bodies were found in rubbish bags somewhere in the woods.
Can you remember the interviews on the news with Huntley and his girlfriend asking the public to come forward with information on the girl

I kinda get the turmoil that this poor girl must have gone through, and still go through, in finding out the truth about her father. My father, and my oldest brother, are proud narcissists that lie pathologically. My father is also a serial adulterer. He proudly brags to his own children that he's "always had at least one woman on the back burner", even when talking about his 20 year marriage with our mother. Thankfully, my mom divorced him when my twin brother and I were around 2 years old and our older brothers were in their teens. Even though we're in our 30s and 40s now, he still likes to brag to us about the stuff he would do to avoid coming home to us on his court appointed weekends. Overall, he's not a very good person. Because his narcissism and tendency to lie pathologically was passed down to my oldest brother, I constantly question whether or not some part of that is in me and if I'm a good person. Even though, overall, I do consider myself very kind and genuinely caring towards others and honest almost to a fault, I still find myself second guessing my own character. It's difficult when from a very young age you're always taught that you are genetically 50% your mom and 50% your dad. Even though we were single handedly raised by our mother, a loving and giving woman, you can't argue with genetics. His heartbreaking parade of psychologically abusive relationships with women over the years has butchered my trust and has caused me to have major intimacy issues. I have a hard time committing to relationships, partly because I distrust most men, but I'm also afraid that some version of my father will surface through me and hurt someone else. It may not always be logical, but I guess it all goes back to nature vs nurture. He didn't raise me, but I can't deny that his blood runs through my veins. I feel so bad for what this girl had/has to go through just knowing that his blood runs through her veins. Not to mention every other person that he decided to hurt for his own sick wants. They, and their families, are forever scarred by one man's selfish and horrific actions. I'm sure that the real ramifications for his actions are still rippling outward and hurting people. I can only hope that his daughter and his other victims can find the strength to push forward and make this world a better place in spite of monsters like him.

I actually remember this incident very well. This guy was getting involved way to much with media and he was the last person to see girls. Usually the last person to see victims, will be a suspect automatically, so when police started checking him, they found out, he had pedophilia related criminal record. It's shame for one looser, 2 little girls lost their lives. The actual break in the case was, when somebody reported seeing his alibi providing girlfriend in another town in the evening of girls disappearing.
I knew of this story as a kid when these two little girls went missing.

personally, I belive that all people who commit a crime need to be rehabilitated. there's always a reason that led that person to do something bad and I don't think simply locking them up does enough, which is evident in the fact that people who end up in jail will probably go back.
ya and like they don't learn how to be good citizen while they are in jail so when they come out they aren't going to be any different especially if they have nothing else and thats the only thing they know they will end up going back

Even at home you can experience these types of incidents, in my experienced it's impossible to dodge these but usually they go after you when you're by yourself,you can't always have someone on your side also it depends who you are with the person has to look fearful in order to back them away.
