ATWT perhaps more than any other daytime drama at this point in time was most effective at having so many veterans of the show, including Don Hastings, Eileen Fulton, Kathryn Hays, and Colleen Zenk. As for Brad and Nick, they were not my favorite characters either, though they were respective catalysts for the memorable nightmare marriages of John/Dee and Craig/Betsy.
how long was this soap opera on the air? I liked it but the story that caught me the most was that of Dr. Reid Oliver and Luke, I don't know why they killed Dr. Reid , he was a great character, it gave me a lot of anger that the writers did that
Completely agree! And what the hell is Lisa thinking, treating Brad like he's the best thing that happened to Oakdale? I think the actor portraying Brad is adding to my dislike of him. Well, at least the Dobsons were probably intending for this reaction.
I find it well for lack of a better word awkward to see negative comments on a soap that was canceled so many yrs ago which I happened to love and I am one of three in my family who watched so did my mother and grandmother on my dad's side who is the one who got my mom started watching
Lisa was the "Erica Kane" BEFORE the Erica Kane. Watch the old Lisa in black and white. LOL

"Nightmare Marriage" Lol XD
The one guy I saw in the disco clip looked like the actor who eventually took over the role of Ed Baur on GL
That's because it is indeed Peter Simon.
I thought that was him thank you
They are also playing the same song that was being played when Luke Raped Laura in 1979..
Guiding Light and As The World Turns are literally sisters.
@@74Spirit1 They were the two best soaps ever!
Hadn't remembered there was a character named Sheila on ATWT

About..50 years I would say..!! Xd 1956-2010..
ATWT was on the air for 54 years. As far as I'm concerned, this soap and GL should still be on the air!!!
LOL. That guy's Italian accent is shockingly bad. And you gotta love a disco where the sound of people dancing is louder than the music.
So far I have nothing but negative thoughts on the two new Hobson's characters of Nick and Brad. Nick is tolerable but I just can't stomach that Brad.
I think Kim and Nick are mismatched - it's as if the writers wanted to give Kim a new love interest and chose "anyone".
Absolutely agreed
