it was very easy to find but i think he was nervous due to low time, you could tell the nerves started getting to him when he decided to stop yapping and focus up
The Trolley Problem gets interesting when you ask the people who said "push the lever to kill just 1 guy instead of 5", whether they'd push a guy in front of the train if they knew that would stop it and save the 5 lives, and suddenly their answer is no, even though it's essentially the same thing!
About the trolley problem - as much as people say that they would pull the lever to save 5 people, reality is that most people wouldn't. I know that I would most likely just freeze up and my body would refuse to act. Even disregarding the philosophy
wait till you see the one where a trolley is headed towards nothing at all and will proceed as normal OR you can pull the level and have it go over 5 people
I'm still very new to chess but I have 2 questions with this game.. 7:56 Why does Levy not take the Rook with check? 8:02 Why does Levy not go Queen to E3 to pin the Rook to the King ultimately winning the Rook? I'm just trying to learn - Thanks! :)
he was so winning that he disrespected the opponent to show him he is very dead and should stop playing. which is what the opponent did after he ignored the rook like 3 moves in a row
There's an interesting spin on the trolley problem where you are a surgeon that can save 5 people that need different organs transplant by harvesting them from a single healthy patient. So would you do it ?
It's not a spin, as I understand it. It's the question follows the trolley question. Most people say they'd save the 4 in the trolley. The same people when asked about the patient will balk. At least that's as far as my remedial philosophy knowledge goes. Scrubs has an interesting take on the question. In one episode JD fucks up and a patient of his dies. And they use her organs to treat multiple patients of Cox. Ends up she had rabies that assuages the guild JD had but burdens Cox with guilt to the point he quits medicine. Great show...
@@Youboremenow yeah that's the interesting part for me, how the same problem of saving 5 vs 1 can have different responses by the same person depending on the surrounding framework. I would save the 5 on the classic problem but i wouldn't on the surgeon one.
Trolly Question: It depends where the rich people are. If there is a rich person in the five, the trolley will automatically change direction, because it knows what is good for it.
If 5 people are stupid enough to stand in front of the trolley they are gonna "go" a different way if you save them... Don't save them they aren't long for this world
Levy played just like my opponent bruh. Something feels odd about him fr. Didn't pin the rook to the king... Missed taking a rook with check. But the difference is that even tho my opponent finds brilliant move I still somehow checkmate them in the endgame XD. What was that, Levy? Go sleep a bit at least or take a nap cause health is more important than chess.
what if the 5 people originally getting hit by the trolley were there intentionally trying to unalive themselves and the one person on the other track wants to live?
Than it’s obviously morally correct to not interrupt, they gonna unalive themselves later on, so in the end of it you will be just a killer of that one dude who’s actually willing to live
Bro JUST heard about the trolley problem lol
7:55 You know the saying, "when you find mate in 3, find mate in whenever-your-opponents-clock-run-out"

The official NYC Trolley Problem answer is keep on walking like you don't see it.

at the end he hung a rook 3 times after the fork into a fork
2:07 it was in this position that Levy saw rook a4 and liked it
very elite knowledge
Hey I got that reference
We played a nice game. Are you kidding me levy😂😂 you bullied that guy in entire game
7:48 Gotham you missed another fork (Qa5)!!!!
7:55 free rook
now we need to wait for levy to find a fork into a fork into a fork
levy never forks to fork
Oh fork off
Levy never forks to fail
Levy never fails to fork
7:55 😭
7:59 💀
The amount of anxiety I got when he kept refusing to play cxb4
Oh the trolley problems are so fun

If only there was something besides the consequences of actions that mattered when we consider if we should take said action
one guy can't stop a fcking train
3:36 it's +1.7 for those wondering

Because it all doesn't matter at that point. No reason to analyse a completely won position
I think he felt disrespected from no resignation so he played with its food.
The trolley problem should include an option to stop the fucking trolley entirely
Than it’s not a problem anymore
I guess, but of course normally stopping the trolley should be the priority lol not switching the damn track

Not without consent.
Guess it depends on the organs...😅

Bro if he took that rook, it would be mate in 2 or 1 after king moves or pawn blocks.
this guy forks
Deep philosophical dilemmas and then chess! bloody awesome 😊

Not long ago I ve been in similar situation, I had fork where I take queen or I fork king and rock

Where did these fake Chess players come from
A true chess player saves the rook instead of pawn
5 points better than 1
7:55 am i crazy or can you take the rook and follow up with m8?
You’re not crazy, he was just trolling the other guy cuz they weren’t resigning a completely lost position lol

nice! Levy succeeds to fork a rook, bishop, & king! ‼️‼️
Dang it, levy, stop talking and play the game! ;p

No but isn’t that common knowledge?
Nobody mentioning that rook hanging on 7:55?
everyone in chat did...
2 moves later he had Qe3 to pin and win the rook again
Really mean to make his opponent time out
Ohh
