Who's here watching MC hammer music video.22"-"2024
I've been watching all of his videos. The documentaries, love performances, even interviews by others testimony of him; from industry personnel to gang members. Until this day, can't touch this lol.
That was a very weak, forty minutes set
Yo, this is a RAPPER's concert yall. Not a ton of goony hype men screaming and hollering and waving their hands. A REAL CONCERT. Choir, band, orchestra, dancers, and the man himself at the top of his game. Incredible.
What rapper was selling out shows in Tokyo in 1991.. We don't give him enough credit. And I been to his concert ..phenomenal
All the rappers who were dissin him were nuthin but jealous a@@ suckers who felt some type of way about his international sucess 😂😂😂
🔨Hammer make you get out yo seat, just like MJ❣️😅
LEGENDS♥️🎶♥️
They silenced him because he was sent by God to uplift people
These artists today..
They stuck in a hypnosis
Exactly
And, the same rappers that criticized him for doing commercials, having a shoe deal, and doing movies. Are the same rappers who started doing the same things. Hypocrisy at it's best.👀
Let’s give this man his flowers. He took a lot of people all around the world on tour with him.
And that wasn't a CHEAP thing to do. The logistics alone were phenomenal.
Hammer was one of the VERY few rappers to use live musicians on stage. As a musician, I can really appreciate that. 🙂
Yea...they sound good! ❤Live Musicians! Hammer is a certain breed, they don't make'em like that no more! 🫶💪❤️🔥
@@ensghost7833 Ain't that the truth. 👍
Damn good, why, where, how come no good bands anymore? Lame ass Madonna 1.3 million to see canned music? Get F outta here !!
@@Junkman2008 what is the reason for the dissapperance of real instruments being replaced by sample and rappers rocking the stage with only a dj and no live band like before ? My uncle says the white racist and jealous industry did that to erase the blackman's musical genius of the memory of mankind. Others claim that the reason behind that is that at the end of the 70's , most blackpeople compared to their elders' era couldn't afford to purchase instruments. I don't know what is true. All I can say is that nowadays young black children and teens don't express any desire to learn how to play any instrument. They all want to be famous on social media or want to be a rapper or a singer. At 15 years old bootsy collins made the bass on sex machine !!!! 15 years old !literally a kid !
@@lorenzbeaumacc1175 The reason is very simple. It's called GREED. If a gig pays $5000 and you have to split that with a 10-piece band, everyone only makes a little money. But $5000 split with less people is a LOT more money for the artist and the DJ. The logistical cost of moving a 10-piece band around is another factor that eats up the amount of money you would make as an artist. You also had to factor in the record company's cut, which was dominated by crooked men, both white and black.
Also, the paying public accepted just having just a DJ and a rapper on stage instead of demanding a good show, like what James Brown brought to the stage on a regular basis. Hell, JB always brought the entire band to Soul Train and we broke our necks trying to get to the TV to see them. For some of us, that was the closest we were going to get to see an artist in concert.
Lord knows that white men pulled the strings back then (and still do), so they wanted their cut. Not having a band meant more money for them also, on top of the crooked bookkeeping they did in order to steal money from the artists. Q-Tip was right when he said, "record company people are shady, so kids watch your back 'cause I think they smoke crack,
I don't doubt it, look at how they act." (A Tribe Called Quest - Check the Rhyme).
The cardio is legit!
MC Hammer was the first hip-hop global idol. Nobody can take that from him, ever. He knew how to give a good show.
There will never be another Hammer, he was in a category by himself. A true world entertainer and workaholic like all the greats!
He was like the James Brown of that era.
La même énergie !
Even James Brown acknowledged that Hammer was him during this time.
Bobby Brown was too he just had the sex appeal of Prince to go with it
@jaygotbandz8717 "TRUE" lol 😆 Bobby Brown was like a ball of wild fire 2 🔥🔥🔥🔥lol 😆😆
Bobby and mc hammer was neck to neck performance wise
このコンサート行ったよ✨ハマー大好き💕彼は凄く優しい人だよね。日本人はハマーが大好きだったよ✨
Hammer was massive worldwide back then, you had to be there. He really put on a show back then, & when you compare him to rappers today they are garbage & just walk left to right on the stage auto tune rapping. Hammer knew how to bring a show, they were great times.
dude was like a ton of bricks ! was there its unforgettable

This was a generation that knew how to entertain and put in all the work. It makes todays "entertainers" look like lazy holes.
Yes these entertainers are VERY lazy 😮
Bringing black memories as kid watching this classic performance! Salute to the legendary MC Hammer.

MC Hammer is the Greatest Rap Performer! #facts
DAM DUDE GOT SO MUCH POSITIVE ENERGY FLOWING IM GETTING TIRED TRYING TO KEEP UP...M.C. HAMMER MUCH RESPECT SON
🤜🏿🤛🏿 🤜🏿🤛🏿
Just to think emcee's use to judge his lyrics calling them elementary but try to do anything else while moving like that for close to 43 minutes. His energy and endurance during this show was like an athlete. Probably due to him playing baseball, he barely broke a sweat in the first 15 minutes. I would have been through in 5 minutes, after seeing this the dude deserves to receive his flowers. Although, he went broke he brought a lot of people along for the ride from his hood and I am sure they still talk about these moments today.
I knew 2 people who did backup dancers for him- hammer is very disciplined. He went broke because he financially supported so many people.
Hell yaaaa!
Hammer was my dude
Best performer hands down
Thanks for sharing
Hammer was a good dude, he was paying all those people on stage so they can have money
No shit sherlock

The Grammy Award Hip Hop celebration in 2023 was trash because Hammer was not on the stage. End of discussion.
That Place Would Have Erupted If The Hammer Would've Performed That Night.
He was on stage. He did a performance with Psy. It was excellent!! 😊🎉
He was asked, he turned them down. Felt he wasn’t appreciated back in the day, wasn’t gonna be fake about it now. Respect.

WOW, what a show...it's 'HAMMER TIME!!!!'😎
Still the greatest concert show I've ever seen and it was my very 1st concert, a birthday present with my parents. I was 11. That's how huge he was. INCREDIBLE performers! Much RESPECT 🙏🏾
To date, this may have been the single best concert in my life that I have ever went to when he brought this tour to LA. I left the concert tired from standing and dancing the entire show. 🙂
Exelente video de hammer
MAJOR PROPERS TO BROTHER HAMMER!! I'm sorry, but these rappers today are robbin' people blind for these 500, 1500 and 2500.00 tickets and no show. Paying this amount of your hard-earned money for a little poetry and music. Hammer brought it all, entertained the people and gave them more than they paid for! And his entire stage of performers and live musicians were all incredible talents. No worries he will stand the test of time when these other guys will fade into obscurity. Blessings for all he did and all the people he helped, trust that God knows.
EXCELENTE ESPECTACULO HACIA MOVER HASTA EL MAS LENTO CUANTO POTENCIAL DE TODOS EMPEZANDO POR EL TALENTOSO MC HAMMER. 👌
I never even knew rap shows in Tokyo were happening back in the 90's.
I didnt realize how much James Brown was in Hammer performances until I saw this.
