I originally bought it for Jukebox Hero, but as I listened to all the songs, I was hooked! The 80’s were some of the best years of my life considering that I still had all my loved ones with me, and great music for a soundtrack of my life. I wish that I could go back!! ❤

This song is really damn good. I'm 33 and single still, no kids. I hopped on my motorcycle last weekend and just thought about everything I've gone through, with this song in my earbuds. I've always felt that my patience will pay off. Even with that said though, at my age, I can't shake the feeling of my window slowly/steadily closing to have a family of my own or the possible realization that I may always be alone? I often think about what I'd give to have someone to come home to, to hold in my arms, to keep safe and to share my experiences with. It's hard not to feel lost at times when I'm on my own. It's for these reasons I choose to ride and let it all go. My job, my responsibilities, my loneliness, longing for that partner that compliments my feelings. I suppose if I can't find that happiness, I can go and get lost on the bike and pursue it through my hobbies as a means of escape. Sometimes, going and getting lost, is where we actually find what we were looking for, which is the self discovery of who we truly are. To all of you that have found your soul's counterpoint in another, I envy you and truly hope you never lose it. To those of you still searching for that love, I hope you too find that one day, are able to experience it and hold on to it, because you deserve that. However, even if it never comes, I know we'll be okay, because happiness comes from our heart and being a good person, stems from maintaining our self worth but most of all, loving ourselves. No matter how many failures we experience, may we never stop reflecting.... and never stop working towards that ever elusive goal. For I feel that a good man will always evaluate what's happened, so he can apply what he's learned. Until then, I will work to improve myself in healthy ways. I actually went on a date for the first time in about a year on Saturday 2 days ago. Date went well and we are talking regularly. So, I continue to reserve judgement as far as compatibility goes but so far so good! Part of my issue is that I work a ton and I have difficulty balancing a love interest with my schedule which is on my shoulders squarely and I accept that. This comment's already 5 years old so I know I'm late, but here's some advice: don't project your hopes on them too much when they're young. While this song is beautiful it needs a certain amount of maturity to be appreciated. It was the same for me, my parents listened to this kind of music often but it didn't sound as interesting to me as other songs. It's only later that I understood how deep the lyrics are, how good the singer is and how even though the music is tame compared to others it creates a unique atmosphere that goes well with the lyrics.
I am 59 years "Young" and all through the 80's along the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, all the Bands were jamming with one another and different guys played with all kinds of line-ups .. the 80's bands we see now are actually the result of a lot of different variations of groups of friends that tried each other out trying to find our path .. there was an electricity in the air .. I KNEW something great was happening I just couldn't put my finger on it exactly .. but I never knew how big the 80's movement coming out of L.A./Hollywood would become :-) I am very please that young people can listen to these great songs and still feel the meaning behind them .. while there was ego, flash, attitude and all that, still, a lot of the songs were kinda' simple in their structure, but the recording techniques, the instrumentation and sound quality was just getting better every step of the way ... the most important thing though was the emotions that were what conveyed the depth of the songs .. some of it was just "Sex, Drugs & Rock n' Roll," but for the guys like me and the many friends I STILL have from those 80's bands, we were just trying to "sound like our heroes" ... but just add a little something in there to try to stand out from the rest of the pack ..

I was curious about what it was, mainly because of the synth riff, And for some reason, I was reminded of it, and needed to find it, but I didn't know what to look for. When this song first came out while my exhusband's having an affair with a married woman and I was told about everything by her husband. With out knowing that I'd found out everything, he'd stopped doing things and just sat there listening to this song. Boy, it'd hurt me so bad at that time. But time's healed all wound quite well. I believe I heard this on the bus to school in the early 90s. I was curious about what it was, mainly because of the synth riff, And for some reason, I was reminded of it, and needed to find it, but I didn't know what to look for. But I just heard it on TV, and the mystery was solved.

My parents also were married at the 80s and they really love each other. They sometimes fight, they sometimes cry, but that doesn't let their love end. I'm just worried that one of them doesn't want to be with the other. You're really a good man who respects his wife to love her. I wish you the best luck for life 👍
