In the forest, the game actually has circular sensors. As long as Mark runs far enough away from the center, he will always progress to the next area. It's only possible to get stuck if Mark literally stays in the exact same tiny circle (which I think was a distinct possibility.)
The ending message to Lixian makes me tear up. Lixian is amazing, and so talented. I'm really glad Mark knows his worth. Both of them are amazing, kind hearted people, with so much talent. P.S. I decided to come back to watch this today, and I can't believe this was in 2019...Then again I don't like to think about 2020, so maybe that's why lol.

i am so confused at this damien, darkiplier, who killed markiplier, a heist with mark, all the short films and stuff. Like I ARRIVED SO LATE TO THE TRAIN I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE WE’RE GOING AH
Heist is its own thing, just with a couple of references. Who killed markiplier is basically the start of darkiplier, which is damien and celine in one body (along with the entity? I can't fully recall). Also wharfstache going crazy. And now basically all the characters are in purgatory.
If You watch Mariplier's streams on 'Who Killed Markiplier' (You can always look up Mark explains Who Kill Markiplier, same with Date With Markiplier) he explains a lot confusion. 'Heist With Markiplier' Mark wanted it to be separate from all the lore he had created, but with a few references to Warfstache and Darkiplier in there. As with the other two "Wilford 'Motherloven' Warfstache" and 'Damien', Mark did two whole live streams, "Wilford 'Motherloven' Warfstache FULL BREAK DOWN" and "WHY KILLED MARKIPLIER?". These are a little lengthy, but worth it, better to hear it from the horses mouth as I say. If you have time and want to understand the beautiful lore this man has set up I highly suggest watch in the order I listed. *Watch the playlist 'Who Killed Markiplier' (It has all the Lore that he's provided), "Mark explains Darkiplier ending in 'Date with Markiplier'", "Mark explains 'Who Killed Markiplier'", "FULL BREAK DOWN", "WHY KILLED MARKIPLIER?"* I hope I helped a smidge.
I just now rewatched this and just realized Mark said "take that warfstache" as he was attacking the flower I legit didn't notice that the first time he posted this.
Look at his smug face, looking at these characters he created, listening to the lines he wrote... He knows what it all means AND HE'S NOT TELLING. In all seriousness tho, Mark is a brilliant storyteller and I'm so impressed with the way he's presenting this world, this characters. I can't wait to see what's next.
Lixian gets hours and hours of raw Mark footage. That means he not only knew how much Damien means to Mark, but could extend the story close to what Mark actually planned. He also was able to make a horror game that would catch Mark with the scares because he's seen what scares him most in games and can anticipate things like which way he'll go.
Have you guys seen the series? Start with Who Killed Markiplier, then Wilford MOTHERLOVING Warfstache, then Damien :) And the most recent direct tie in was the Warfstache Automated Interview Automaton, although some of the other stuff has Easter eggs for this series

Heist is its own thing, just with a couple of references. Who killed markiplier is basically the start of darkiplier, which is damien and celine in one body (along with the entity? I can't fully recall). Also wharfstache going crazy. And now basically all the characters are in purgatory.
If You watch Mariplier's streams on 'Who Killed Markiplier' (You can always look up Mark explains Who Kill Markiplier, same with Date With Markiplier) he explains a lot confusion. 'Heist With Markiplier' Mark wanted it to be separate from all the lore he had created, but with a few references to Warfstache and Darkiplier in there. As with the other two "Wilford 'Motherloven' Warfstache" and 'Damien', Mark did two whole live streams, "Wilford 'Motherloven' Warfstache FULL BREAK DOWN" and "WHY KILLED MARKIPLIER?". These are a little lengthy, but worth it, better to hear it from the horses mouth as I say. If you have time and want to understand the beautiful lore this man has set up I highly suggest watch in the order I listed. *Watch the playlist 'Who Killed Markiplier' (It has all the Lore that he's provided), "Mark explains Darkiplier ending in 'Date with Markiplier'", "Mark explains 'Who Killed Markiplier'", "FULL BREAK DOWN", "WHY KILLED MARKIPLIER?"*

Lixian gets hours and hours of raw Mark footage. That means he not only knew how much Damien means to Mark, but could extend the story close to what Mark actually planned. He also was able to make a horror game that would catch Mark with the scares because he's seen what scares him most in games and can anticipate things like which way he'll go.
