The devs have become so shameless when it comes to P2W. And I say that as someone who owns dozens of P2W skins himself. Adobe can make pixelgaps without build out, shipping container will completely block the pixelgap so no one can even tell it's there and now this. Wish we all pushed back much harder when Arctic suit first came out.

It's 100% a trade off but imo when you then consider using it as a core instead, you can focus on protecting that loot better rather than having twice as many loot rooms
Put all of one's eggs in one basket then make sure the basket is very well protected. That's valid. I think it is easier to just put in more rooms because it should also be easier to misdirect a raider. I normally try to have three different unsplashable locations, and I play solo. If they hit my TC, they only have 1/3 of the loot and loads more boom to get the rest. Any chance of doing one of these for a 1x1? I've gotten one barrel, two small boxes, a tier 2, furnace, and bag into one plus the TC. Most folks don't want to raid a 1x1, especially if it has a triangle with an airlock. @@Reksmore
@@macy1066 well 2x2 and 2x1 will never be considered a good raid since I build empty ones all the time with only minimal upkeep. Pathetic offline raiders are never going to make back the boom they waste on my honeypots.
I love the barrels and stone combination, brings a dwarven motif and is bang on trend. But darling, lighting! I'm thinking open plan, remove one of those gloomy walls and let the sunshine in. Add a couple of windows and some tasteful accessories (skulls are all the rage this season) and you're onto a winner
People complaining about P2W... I think Rust has the most balanced ''P2W'' system I've ever seen. Sure you get more loot.. BUT, that makes raiding 2x1's even more profitable. Same with Industrial doors, sure you can see through but people can also see you when you're coming out. Same with Artic suit and any other skins. It doesn't give you more resistance so just kill them and get their skins? If anything, ''P2W'' skins actually favors people that don't buy them. The only real P2W skins are building but then again, it's only P2W if you are an advanced builder. It allows for slightly better placements in very niche cases. I have 1.5K hours and started buying skins maybe 1K hour in and I never saw a difference tbh.
I cant stand grouping all of my loot together like this but absolutely love it when other players do. A guy I raided recently had a similar loot room like this and made it such a cheap raid for me. I tend to build bigger bases with multiple loot rooms spread out.
It takes more resources to protect multiple loot rooms versus protecting only a small one. It's better to have one HQM loot room than 2 or 3 made of stone. It all depends on playstyle and how much you are willing to farm
Yeah this is not possible for a starter base its unreasonable to assume you have to resources for all those barrel and to be able to have no roof on your base while you sit there trying to place them

You can do this while you are in ur safe base. Just ad a trisngle floor for u to stand on
U can also do it later and use 2 barrels and 2 small boxes insted of 3 for the safety

It's P2W, but fortunately it doesn't affect PvP like some skins do. At the end of the day, non-P2W games are basically non-existent nowadays.
