Thank you very much for that tour!!! I'd love to go to that city and repeat your video by my self. It has some kind of magic that i can't explain. Thank you again and greetings from Argentina.
Thanks for you nice comment. I had fun making it, so I am glad someone else is getting some enjoyment out of it. Maybe I will make some more videos like that. Recently, my motivation has waned a bit.
Thanks for your kind comment. It is nice to know that someone other than myself is getting something out of these videos. Yes, Tokyo is an amazing place. I think it is my favorite city in the world....that I have been to, and certainly one of the safest. I hope you can go someday.
guildandepi-san, UA-cam led me to this video and I did not realize it was made by you that I just saw your Kichijoji video yesterday. I enjoyed this thru to the end like walking along with you on my memory lane. in 1950's when I was 18 or so, I worked as a hotel boy/attendant @ Army Hall which was then US Air Force Officers temp residence that became later the Kudan Kaikan. You sounded like you stayed there. Now, I am 80 y-o residing in US for 50 years. While working there, I have increased my English vocabulary a lot. Also, it became my habit to walk circling the Imperial Place from Hibiya-Chidorigafuchi-Budokan-Nijyubashi. Look forward to see more of your video. Thank you.
Satoru-sama, I am glad you liked it. I love Tokyo and want to live there again while my youngest daughter is still living with us. She was very small last time we lived there and probably does not remember much....except for our home videos. I will try to make more videos. Please check out my other city walking tours, such as Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, New Orleans, and Autumn Leaves in the mountains of Utah.
Glad you liked the video. I have a couple more videos in my iPhone that I need to post as soon as I can find the time to edit and post....one is me walking around Shinjuku in Tokyo, and yesterday I was in New Orleans and did a walking tour for JFK conspiracy buffs like myself. Thanks for your kind comment.
Thanks. Glad you liked this. I have more guitar and Japanese lessons up my sleeve as soon as I can find a quiet moment to record them. Also, I have two more walking tours in my iPhone I just need to edit and post when I get the time. One of Shinjuku in Tokyo, and one in New Orleans for JFK conspiracy buffs like myself.
Oh...my guess my first response to you was technically not a response to your comment. I needed to put it below your comment. Anyway....if you liked this one, I think you will like my Kichijouji walking tour as well...one of my favorite spots in Tokyo. Also, check out my Los Angeles and Salt Lake City tours. Thanks for watching.
... or rather, that's exactly what I am planning to do someday, in the reverse direction i.e. from Shinjuku toward Tokyo via Yotsuya (Im a graduate from the univ. there). Very good routing. Thanks you so much for this heart-warming video.
I want to say thanks by this nice tour..your comments are very funny....it's like we're both lost, trying to find the correct path hahaha!!...best rgds from CHILE
I enjoyed a lot in this vid. thanks.. if u don't mind wanna ask about the prices there..the hotels..the restaurants..and the subway or metro..thanks again
Thanks for commenting. Took me only 8 years to reply. Everything is very reasonable if you do the Japanese do and don't expect to have a lot of space. Space is what is really expensive.
If you are serious, and you don't want to take 36 years to learn Japanese....I suggest you go there on a student exchange or something for a while. It is so much easier to learn a language when you immerse yourself in the culture. Go for it, Bro!
Spoiler Warning: In case you did not make it to that part in the video yet, I FOUND that bad boy, but that bad boy had gone out of business, and there was another bad boy in its place that was not that exciting. ;-)
I have been on these exact spots in your video many times myself over the past decade. Love this city.

Thanks for commenting. I'm 8 years late, but I really appreciate that comment. How did I miss it?

I am not traveling at all these days, so I need to re-invent this channel.

I am glad you liked it. I wish I had a better camera that was not so shaky. Tokyo is a great place.

Well, I thought I mentioned it a few times, but in case I inadvertently edited it out, I really do love Tokyo. ;-)

Ouch! You mean I get no credit for walking all day long (at least five hours) up hills, down hills, practically non-stop?
If I ever came in to a lot of money, I would love to visit Japan.
You would love it.
I think you forgot to mention whether you loved the city or not. :P
Tokyo??? Oh, yeah, I can take it or leave it...jk, jk. Love this city.
