This is me playing 'Don't Cry Daddy' (Elvis) with Bouke Scholten at Omroep Brabant (Dutch radio; 'Muziek Enzo' program w/ Eefke Boelhouwers) on August 10th, 2020. Guitar used: Gibson AJ1935 reissue (custom shop).

@@juliewhereisjfkjr8902 Bouke was born on 25-09-1981 in Emmen, the Netherlands (and he still lives there). Elvis died about 4 years before Bouke was born.

@@dalejopson of course no two are exactly alike, but Bouke is no imitation. It’s his natural voice, and he’s amazing. He adds his own unique touch to everything, and he’s also a brilliant songwriter and a phenomenal performer.
Bouke such a wonderful vocalist, reincarnation of Elvis should do more of concerts in USA and other countries. Bouke should be promoted more and more to bring Elvis alive
I heard him say in an interview he makes a decent living by singing. I don't think he wants the madness of world fame, touring, crazy fans etc. He loves his family, his country and his hometown. He may sound like Elvis but he's just a down-home ordinary bloke. Very humble, very clean. Elvis' story is a cautionary tale.
If you shut your eyes and just listen you would swear Elvis had returned !! Great voice 👍👍

I try to find a difference between the King and him. There are really slidely diference of tone attitudes, but I didn't know nobody on the earth who is so close to the King's vocal. Amazing🙏

Well most think he is an gas a better range of voice. He's nit trying to be Elvis as it's a tribute an must have been good enough to sing at Gracelands for the 35th anniversary an even got to play Elvis guitar. Fabulous voice an does Tom Jones an Cash as well.

PURE RAW TALENT!!!! This man is by far, the closest to Elvis in singing his songs!!!! NOBODY I've ever heard before has sounded so much like Elvis. He even has his body shape in Elvis's younger days. WHY hasn't this man been selected to do the movie ELVIS ?????? They wouldn't have to change much in a movie because this is like a re make of Elvis.
