thank you for your tips! do you also have a video that shows how to sew leggings (from start to finish) or do you plan to? it would be extremely helpful for a newbie like myself, your leggings look gorgeous!!
I know im asking randomly but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot the account password. I love any tricks you can offer me.
@Ezekiel Darian I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
I love your channel! I'm 6 months into what I already know will be a life long love affair with sewing, and I've learned so much from you, thanks a million!
Aww, thank you so much! Your comment made my day 😘. So happy to hear you've fallen in love with sewing, and yes I can confirm it's a very addictive hobby. I've been doing it for 35 years and have not gotten bored yet 😊
My husband bought a really nice machine 2 years ago never did I open it once until 3 months ago n I got hooked. I’m 31 wished I could have started years ago as well.
Great tips! Thank you, Johanna. I found Aeroflock at one of my local sewing machine shops this week. And it was the same sale price that Sewing Parts Online was selling them for. Joy! Thanks for that tip from your recent sew along vlog. I was surprised how few colors were available, but I found 6 that'll be fun to try. I am looking forward to giving leggings a try. Hope you're enjoying being back to work at your day job.
Hi Johanna, I was wondering if this is part of the March series of sewing the Aila leggings. I had understood you’d give step by step tutorials on the pattern, no?
i have hundreds of those clips. they're awesome. I've recently gotten into too the leggings trend because of upcoming gastric surgery. don't care for store bought. too many are just below waist line. thanks for the tips.
These are such great tips. Simple yet easy tips that will help in my quest to make my own sport clothing. You just can't know how much value these types of well done, videos offer. Thanks so much. And I really appreciate the list of sport fabric sellers you put up as well. All great information and very helpful. I can't wait to make my own coordinated sportswear. You are a great motivator too.
Please explain how to layer the mesh and the material and the lining. I have been trying for hours now and am still left with wrong sides together or wrong seams attached....from 3:30 you have lost me. Please help
I need so much help on sport bras for big & heavy busts. I really need to start making my own because I haven’t found any proper one in the market. Thanks!
i have a question..i just recently made a leggings but its kinda loose or baggy in the front..I want like that flat at the front...any advice? i use neoprene fabric
Awesome video Johanna!! I only make my leggings! (never purchase them!) I purchased your Aila leggings pattern and can't wait to sew them up!!! I have a quick question you may have covered in your videos (or your book)...can lightweight scuba knit be used for leggings?
Hi Myra! I haven't really addressed scuba, but I did make a pair of Aila leggings using a "scubai-sh" fabric but with fleece backing instead, and that worked really well. As long the cross- and length-wise stretch is there (at least 65% cross and around 50% lenght-wise) is what I recommend. Please report back if you try as I'm really curios to know if it works!
The Last Stitch Johanna, first let me thank you for a wonderful leggings pattern! They were so super easy to do! And in answer to my question to you, yes they can be made in a scuba knit as long as it is two way stretch (both horizontal and vertical). I will be tagging you tomorrow once I post them and thanks again for a lovely pattern this is going to be my new TNT for leggings!
My insta is @laststitch and yes the most stretch should be crosswise (width), the fabric will be stretching out a lot over the hips and thighs especially
If I look at my store bought leggings, they look like they overlocked the seam and then folded it flat and did coverstitch. The coverstitch is done flat, how are they reaching all they way up inside the leg?
Can you make the waistband WITHOUT elastic? I hate elastic waistbands... to me it looks cheap! But yours don't do the weird elastic pucker (like how children's pants look lol)... how do you achieve the smooth elastic look so they don't look like they're poorly made toddlers pants?

Very helpful
Where do you buy your activewear fabric?
Mostly locally here in Sweden, but I have a big list here www.thelaststitch.com/buying-activewear-fabrics/
Thank you 🇬🇧
Could you potentially do a video where you see a pair of cycling bib tights ?
Hey! Do you have an instagram? I have a question for this video. Do you trace front and back in the front? I'm a tad bit confused and stuck!!
Hi, maybe I can help, but not sure what you mean with trace front and back in the front, do mean the pattern?
The Last Stitch do you have Instagram?

There's a lot of terminology that I do not understand. I need to do some reading.
