🤣🤣 If you say so buddy. A Rolex looks, feels, and is EXPENSIVE, that Seiko is not. The Hardlex crystal and the tin like bracelet are the biggest issues with that watch, otherwise it's quite decent
Thanks for the video man. I bought this watch brand new a month ago and put a NATO strap on..the best watch I have ever had and I have had lots of divers watches.
I have a samurai, a srp583 monster and a skx009 and if you hold all of them in your hands this ssc015 feels better in every way just something about it makes it my favorite watch
Yes you can take out links they are simple pushpins also you have micro adjustments holes and a dives extension but in my opinion get a nice leather strap or a nato and you can dress it how you like. For 200$ new great price used not so much.
I own this watch. Tough as nails, accurate and dependable. The only problem I have with this, and most chronometers is sometimes it's hard to read the minutes hand as it advances.
Yes I agree Michael I would love if they made this watch bigger in the 47mm range that way it would be much more legible and you could better utilize this watch at this size the dial is just to busy and crowded but still it is a beautiful watch. Thanks for watching.
I’m looking at these now wanting to purchase soon. There appears to be two different styles with different markings on the face yours with an X at the 12 o’clock position and solar in the lower 6 o’clock while others I’ve seen have all the writing at the 12 o’clock position with no X. Are both authentic or do you know?
Sorry I'm not sure the X should be the prospex logo marking that his is a actual diver watch not only cosmetic diver and that the depth rating is 200M but I'm not sure about the position of the X can be a localization marker maybe for different regions they have the X on different place. Anyway it is a great watch you will be happy with it. Thanks for watching.
Robert Usher the watches with the x means it was made after this watch was put in the prospex line of watches the ones without the x just means it was older and made before this line of watches was put in the prospex line
Hi Tyson the red hand is the chronograph seconds indicator and is active only when you push the top side button if you look at the left sub dial you will see that it displays the actual seconds this is common with watches that have a chronograph function. Thanks for watching.
Like a dummy I sat here for 15 minutes watching you fondle this watch. Waiting and waiting for you to hit the button on the upper right and you NEVER DID!! Do you have to pay for it if the function buttons are activated? It's kinda like when George Costanza took a Big Ole $200 book to the loo with him and then was forced to buy it cuz it got flagged! Hey couldn't even return it at a different store for crying out loud! Does the watch get flagged if the buttons are pushed. If so I completely understand.
Sorry Mark I don't know I can tell you only what I found in the specifications : Water resistant to 200 m (660 ft): In general, suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, but not scuba diving
Actually that is not a noob question the answer is because it ha no iso certification so no testing was done on this watch for scuba diving activities at that depth.
Hi Roger Thanks for watching you can always pause the video if you like to focus on some detail or what I would do if I'm looking for a specific detail I do go and search for high-quality pictures wish you a nice day.
Thanks for getting back. I understand and because of your video, I'm pulling the trigger on this model tonight for my recreational diving and beach events at $275, It can't go wrong. Thanks again and I enjoy you videos..
I just bought the same watch, I love it. Seiko will give rolex a run for its money.

a beautiful time piece
Thanks for watching.
No worries, thanks.
Can you adjust the strap on these ?
Would you recommend it for 200 euro ?

I have the non-crono solar (same case) and I adore it. Mine's a Black Series which is more than the regular version, but still an amazing value.
What is the product number of your watch I would like to look it up to see.
How has the Hardlex crystal held out? Many scratches on it yet?

Michael Clonts It’s a chronograph not a chronometer

thanks for the information.
I wish you would have turned on the chronograph. That's why I watched this video.
Sorry I probably forgot.
How to setting calender this time piece, can you teach me
There is only a date complication you can set the date on the first position when pushing out the crown nothing special.
Why doesn't the long red hand move?
Hi Tyson the red hand is the chronograph seconds indicator and is active only when you push the top side button if you look at the left sub dial you will see that it displays the actual seconds this is common with watches that have a chronograph function. Thanks for watching.
You did not measure the bracelet lug width.
Hi Roger the Lug size is 20mm Thanks for watching.

ISO certified?
Sorry Mark I don't know I can tell you only what I found in the specifications : Water resistant to 200 m (660 ft): In general, suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, but not scuba diving
sorry for the noob question but why isnt it good for scuba diving when its a diver's watch and resistant to 200m?
Actually that is not a noob question the answer is because it ha no iso certification so no testing was done on this watch for scuba diving activities at that depth.
nerv5th but overall its still a watch u can use to dive yeah? Cuz I plan on getting one soon if it is.
Yes you can but the seal could fail at the 200m depth co just keep that in mind
where did you get the watch
I got them on ebay from the seller seiko.team2 you will find plenty offering on ebay. Thanks for watching.
nerv5th I can't seem to find it do you have the URL?
I have the url but it is not working anymore. Just type the product number in and you will find a bunch of sellers.
nerv5th I cannot find it. How much did it cost though
I see 30

If you would stay still while filming the watch, it would help the viewers so much more. Your moving your hands too much.
