What a very cool bar and restaurant. Such a unique place. The soup bowl looked amazing. Nice hostel also. The downtown area with the trolley reminds me a little bit like Toronto on the outskirts. Enjoy your time there and thanks for taking us along. Good video Kerry.
That pub and food was spectacular. I just loved how authentic this place looked. They even had the wood burning stove, which was incredible. The trams are a great and cheap way to get around town. Thank you Kat5. 🇸🇰😋🍻🍲
AMAZING! I used to live very near the Slovak pub and I loved it. You were on Obchodna Ulica, right? My old home. Slivovica is a type of brandy, pronounced [slivovit-sa] .
Yes, that's the same street as my hostel too. It was Schoendorf hostel. That pub was incredible and this is a nice street in town. So happy I could show you some old memories. More to come from Slovakia. Thanks Deborah. 🇸🇰🍻👍
Looks awesome kerry. Very Eastern European but surprisingly modern. The high Street looked quite similar to a typical high street here in the UK. That meal looks super filling.

I would not survive in Slovakia with their sour cabbage in everything, I hope they at least have KFC there, that was saving me even in Poland, as a Czech, I eat only goulash, svíčková, schnitzel and fried chicken. 🙂 We also have a lot of sauerkraut in Czech cuisine, but there is always enough foods to choose from which don't have anything sour. But in Poland, options were like sauerkraut with this or this or this.....or sauerkraut in soup, at least they have schnitzels, so poor Czech can survive. Yes, we are cuisine barbarians and we are proud of it. 🙂
