You definitely have a skill that's a amazing knife✌
I try mate, sometimes I even manage to get it right.
@@DownunderFarmandForge this is definitely one of them then🤣
lol Jason I am a lot more fussy about my work than people know, trust me I know every fault in every knife I have made.
Awesome job 👏 👍🏻
Thank you mate
It always amazes me how you can take a piece of Steele, a hunk of wood, and create such a gorgeous and useful object out of them.
lol Patti this handle started life as a pair of my old blue jeans
Very nice build
Glad you think so!
That was really cool, Darren! Thanks for all the effort that went into making this video! Very well done in my humble opinion.
Glad you enjoyed it! These complete build videos do take a fair bit of time and work, but having done a lot of step by step videos, I really do like the complete builds.
Your work always amazes me my friend. Can't wait till your state side with your girl. I'd love to meet up with you both one day.
We are still praying that it happens in a couple of weeks, I have had a rough week so hoping that it does not put a pause on the trip
Oh no! I sincerely hope whatever is causing you to be having a rough time gets resolved asap! We all have been waiting for this special day to come. Sending prayers that everything runs more smoothly for you from here on out. 🙏🙏🤞🤞
Thank you, lots of prayers going up from us too.
Very cool to see the process of making these knives. From your past videos I know how long each step really takes, which can be days for some of them. I told my hubby how jealous I was over all your cooking knives and especially how sharp they are. I have several that I haven't used in years because of how dull they are and the shop that would sharpen them has closed. Well your videos lit a fire under him I guess because a few days later he came home with 3 different kinds of home sharpeners. One by one he sharpened every dull knife I gave him and gave me a small easy to use kitchen sharpener so that I can touch up those that get used every day and always have a sharp knife. Food prep has never been so easy. I don't have to bake a whole Sweet Potato to have them now that I have a good knife with which to dice them with! Lol
lol Jayne I love it. I do love to inspire people and if means you have sharp knives to cook with, that is great. Much prefer that people have a sharp knife in the kitchen, much less likely to cause an accident that way. Because i have laid out the process a couple of times I am tending more towards these complete build videos now with the links back for those who want to learn how to. Means I can entertain more easily now, but the videos do generally take months to make.
@@DownunderFarmandForge I bet they do!
Nice one mate, i am going to be getting a new little grinder soon so i can get back at it myself.
Awesome news mate, if you were closer I would let you borrow the 2x48 adapter I have for a bench grinder so that you could play some more, heck you are always welcome to play with the big one, but that distance thing.....
@@DownunderFarmandForge i think the new grinder might be cheaper than the trip down there
@@MatthewSherriff85 lol true that
