The manticore is definitely going to need an update for its falsing issues trying to hunt iron infested relics sights with it is a nightmare! I've said it once I've said it a thousand times the legend is legendary for its performance versus price .
I'm glad I was not the only one. I thought it was just learning curve issues and I am just not into playing with settings to get the thing tuned in. I agree about the legend. I am sticking with that machine.
@@802OutdoorAdventures here is my relic/ coin shooting program for the legend I've been testing it for a while now in iron infested sites. Cuts iron like a knife. Don't let the beach mode scare you it does magic in iron. Midwest treasure program Mode: beach Disc: F Freq: MD Rec: 7 (lower if you need deeper) I.F.: 4 Stab: 5 B.C.: 1 (to help big round iron not sound so darn good) Vol: 4 A.G.: 3(for good modulation) Tones: P Tone break: 9 (sometimes 8 to help with down averaging, I had a button in hand made square nails average all the way down to 8 normally a 32) Thresh: 3 Thresh freq: 9 Sens: 19-23(too high and the halo effect from iron is amplified) Side tip for falsing notch the last two numbers out (i.e. 59 and 60 on the legend) usually notching out the last two numbers will negate iron falsing. Or at least help. GL&HH
