This is an awesome looking headlamp. I really like that you included the red light. I use thatode on my other lights all the time for low-light navigation. The one suggestion I have is to make sure the motion sensor for touchless brightness changes is accurate. I had a headlamp with a similar feature in the past (wave your hand in front to turn the lamp on and off). However, than lamp would turn itself off if I turned my head anywhere close to a wall or object. It was designed for working on cars and tight spaces but it was impossible to use because it would turn itself off every time I moved my head. As long as tou guys have that sensor tuned, this will be a great light!
Focus adjustment is better pseudo-analog (does not depend on the speed of rotation of the knob), deception. Gorgeous optics of the long-range. The red one should have a narrow beam, so that it is not unmasked by insects and people. The knob should regulate the brightness. The charging port is at the bottom - competently. Questions about stabilization/PWM, as well as the reliability of the knob: if a mechanical rotary encoder - garbage, if a Hall sensor - super. For now, the ancient Nightcore HC90 with a Hall sensor and quasi-analog control is the best that exists on the planet in this class (headlamps with analog control). We are waiting for a competently made HD17 ...
Huh that seems to be an interesting mechanism for changing the modes! Too bad the USB-C is hidden behind a rubber flap, not a screw on cap or something
It would be great with warmer color temperature, and also better with rotary dial for brighness and button for different modes. I will wait for warm tint version.
just subscribed. Waiting for my new orange HD10 and TS12 to arrive, can't wait! The new HD16 looks fantastic! I will need to purchase it this coming month to add to my Wurkkos collection, green HD20, orange and black TS11, green TS10 and soon the orange HD10 and TS12. I really like the rotary dial, this will make switching output levels so much easier, the 2500 lumen output is a big plus and the 297 meters of throw will be handy. Will this come out in multiple body colors because that would be very cool, orange please! Thank you for the video Wurkkos!
My suggestions for this light: SFT40 5000K as spotlight, 519a 5000K as flood light, button to change from red to flood to spot, dial for continously variable brighness
Your suggestion is good. But I am not a fan of mixing colors/warmth of light. If they are cold, let them both be cold. Because we need to change modes on the road, it can mix in the eyes. In my opinion, there should be the same diode, flood and spot. But both SFT. Not crappy SST.
Saudara saya baru saja membelinya dan saya coba 1 minggu di perkebunan. Desain dan hasil akhirnya adalah yang terbaik,anodisasinya luar biasa.tapi..modus titiknya terlalu besar untuk senter kepala,lampu merah sangan kuat dan dapat di gunakan,masalahnya ada pada dial,tidak terlalu mulus dengan beberapa transisi yg tidak konsisten antara banjir dan titik dan kadang kadang berubah dari rendah ke tinggi dan sebaliknya,indikator baterai mulai menunjukkan warna merah antara 3,9V -3,8V dan mulai berkedip pada 3,5V terlalu tinggi menurutku,senter ini sepertinya belum selesai dan terlalu cepat di pasarkan.padahal senter ini memiliki potensi yang sangat besar untuk menjadi senter yang sangat baik jika masalah ini teratasi.

I don't understand why you mix ugly diodes with good ones (beautifully lit). A nicely lit SFT diode, and another ugly SST diode (WOULD IT NOT BE BETTER TO PUT IN A SECOND SFT?). Similarly, incomprehensible to me HD15 - A brilliantly lit Samsung diode and an ugly SST-20. Change the diodes, put in a BUCK driver and they will sell like fresh cookies. But every time something is wrong... Is this some kind of sabotage on your own brand?

An interesting solution with controls. It would be great to be able to purchase a lantern with a warm light.
Currently it is 6000-6500K. Maybe we will try to make warm light version in the future if most people want😊

I get it, but sadly the rotary switch is a critical characteristic of the HD16.🧊
how many lumens will medium and high mode throw out? Looking forward to test this headlamp. 4000k whould also be a great option.
