    I lived in Sexy Oregon for more than three years for School. Now Im back to SA. The Love I have for Oregon is way more than any love I have to any thing. It is truely where I realy feel relaxed and free.
    long live OREGON & Oregonians.

    I arrived at this video by changing the State from Kentucky to Oregon in a previous search having to do with gardens. And at this time CHAZ in Seattle has been compelled to be dismantled, so most will know that on this day, the 2nd of July, 2020, I am delighted to be able to enjoy this video and related videos in this glorious section of UA-cam. What a nice break! Great video!

    During high runoff there is a waterfall into the Blue Pool along the old riverbed that used to have running water before part of it was diverted for hydroelectric power. Swimming in the Blue Pool is very cold as the water coming from underground is about 34 degrees.

    I grew up on The McKenzie.
    The 2nd covered bridge was on my school bus route.
    I went through it 2x a day.

      So did I as a kid! Had to cross the Goodpasture bridge every day to go to the MacKenzie Bridge school.

    I have not been there in many years but one thing I remember is that along the trail are Tree Casts and I shudder to think of small children/dogs falling into them...

  • @frankblangeard8865
    @frankblangeard8865 6 років тому +2

    At 0:31 the trail is described as being 'just out of Eugene'. The McKenzie River Trail may start 'just out of Eugene' but it is about a 90 minute drive from Eugene to the trail head for Tamolitch. But of course you could start 'just out of Eugene' and make it a long hike!

    Beautiful. If I ever get to the west coast, I'll have to see it. It'll have to be on an epic drive. I won't fly, not because I'm afraid of flying, but because I despise the way TSA and the airlines treat us as suspects and solely a money source, we're people, and it's sad that's been forgotten. If I do make the drive someday, the Blue Pool is on my list to see...
