No. TAGGERT was the perfect person to talk to about her pain. Why the character has been marginalized is a mystery to me. So much wasted storyline potential there. Her scenes with CURTIS as her father looked Fake and Forced. He should be advising her as her Stepfather, and suggesting she reach out to her Real Father (who should at least be coming to mind at this point). You cannot erase their 20-year bond they shared over a DNA test. js

Can't wait for more POV & new layers of Trina to reveal themselves with the new headwriter Patrick M. #TrinasVoiceMatters and we want more of her and her love story with Spencer. The flashback was beautiful but also bittersweet. Good breakdown by Lucky Gold and great dialogue by Cathy in these scenes. Looking forward to Shannon Peace and Charlotte Gibson teaming up to write for Sprina in the near future. They excel at their craft just like TABYANA ALI and Nicholas Alexander Chavez.

He was shocked at how much chemistry these two actors had. I will keep hoping my dear and Todd also said other young actors could cross over to this couple's show.
Curtis has been the calm place of comfort and understanding for Trina and today, he really showed up for his beautiful heart broken daughter. He gave her permission to let go and grieve… pour it all out…I got you, I won’t let you fall… he is her safety net, with him she can rest assured that she is covered. Oh my heart aches for Trina. So glad she has Curtis and Ava too. They won’t let her fall through the cracks of grief. 🥺😢
But she Should have TAGGERT. These scenes seem forced and unrealistic without the man who loved and raised her as his own, all the while suspecting that she was not. You cannot Fake that kind of love. Nor hers for Him.
I enjoyed Shannon Peaces' writing and I hope she is back soon. I enjoy the female directors as well. Sensitivity, diversity and a comprehensive point of view are important points for the new writers. I hope more of the new stories truly reflect the interests of younger generations also.

I miss Taggerts' warmth and humor. He was her great Dad for 20 years. Raising someone with heart is as important or more than (questionable) biology. "Family" can be helpful, but for deep grief "family" can be overwhelmed, and grief counseling can be a better support. I'm so glad to see Trina! Curtis is a part of Trina's story. But he is not the center of it.
Yes bring Taggert back. He was her dad for 20+ years. Now they want to change the DNA test. After all these years. He has been her father. Now she twenty one. And they want to make Curtis her dad. Now that she's grown. I felt sorry for Taggert when the last time. Trina and Taggert. Had a father and daughter conversation at Kelly's when Curtis had got shot. And she left him. (Taggert) Her dad. To go check on Curtis. I just don't like how the writers took. Taggert out of Trina's life. And replace it with Curtis. So unfair. He been in her life all these years. Now they wanna switch dad's. C'mon now. Trina doesn't even ask about him no more either. It's all about Curtis now.

(There should at least be scenes where she is missing her Real Father right now. DNA be damned.) Yet another character with so much potential that the lazy writers just threw away.😢
These were really wonderful scenes, I felt Trina's grief and loss, well done Taby. BUT it can feel sometimes that the writing uses Trina to prop or elevate Curtis, and due to the fast-tracking via bullet/temporary paralysis, their relationship does not yet have the organic feel of her bond with Taggert, of course. But also Marshall. These scenes would've felt more impactful with either her mom, Portia, or her real dad, Taggert or Marshall.

Tabyana Ali did a great job of portraying Trina’s grief over losing Spencer. I want to see more scenes like this. It’s sad that she feels like she can’t talk to anyone about what she’s going through, but it does feel like that during the grieving process. Glad Curtis didn’t try to just get her to move on like her mother did. 😉 Thank you for the flashback Sprina scene later in the episode too. I’m missing NAC, Spencer & Sprina something awful 😢, so it was nice to see them together & happy again. Can’t wait for Sprina to reunite!
