  • Remote Work has obviously exploded and with that comes the rise of digital nomadism which is the ability for people to work and travel at the same time. With a lot of countries trying to get those new people to come to their countries, states and cities are offering huge economic advantages if you come to work and live with them. Let me know if you have any questions or if there are any other spots I should add!

    Portugal is working on that too, meanwhile you can use D7 for freelancer and cost a fraction of the visas you mentioned

      Can you break down what d7 is?

    • @bojanstankovski1123

      @@RunningRemote It is a Visa for those people who have own income (rental properties, holding a company, having stocks in companies) This visa also can lead to PR to the D7 holder as well after 5 years.

    Germany's freelance visa is one I'll be looking at in the next 12-18 months. Would love to spend a year working in Berlin! One of the caveats to this one is for non- artists, you need to have at least one client in Germany. So, I'll be looking for Saleforce related consulting/contracts in Germany in 2023. :D
    The Estonian arrangement looks like a sweet deal as well as Croatia.

    So I can have E-Citizenship in estonia and pay a thousand euros and essentially uproot my business from the US to Estonia and benefit from taxes on profit. Due to the semi-dual citizenship I still must pay taxes to the US. Am I getting this right?

      Not a lawyer or accountant. Your Estonian Corp would be under Estonian law, any money you repatriate back to the us would be under us tax law.

    So there were never any countries an American could travel to without them having to get a visa?

    • @xTismos
      @xTismos 2 роки тому +1

      You can travel to the United Kingdom without a visa for a duration of 6 months (obviously you just need a valid passport). Now for the Schengen territories you will need a tourist visa which is valid inside the Schengen territories for a duration of 90 days within 180 days so basically if you wanted to travel those territories you would need keep track of how long you have been traveling through them because if you are not out in the given 90 days you could face legal troubles. You could spend a month traveling then return to a non-schengen territory for a month (like the UK) then resume traveling for a month and repeat for 6 months if you wish but that may get expensive.
