Ngl while pretty cool a lot of this stuff seems unnecessary and quite possibly a balance nightmare, and it’s not really clear which racial passive supersedes others (or if they stack) such as, does Vegito get god passive, fusion passive, or saiyan passive?
I myself don't exactly know the criteria for how characters get a specific passive, and honestly, it's kinda weird how it works. Vegito, for example, has the fusion passive. BUT, Zamasu, even though he is a fusion, gets the God Ki passive instead. This is more of a "you should ask the guy who made it" type of question. But it's a damn good question lol.
Id say they're all pretty good balance changes, not necessary, but good(with my only complaint is that more should be given to lesser used characters, like an orange piccolo form, the buff 100% power Master Roshi, or all turtle students get a single senzu bean charge, considering they always carry at least one)

Unless vanilla is wildly unbalanced (it isn't), tweaking as little as possible is the way to go when attempting to make the game more balanced. Now, of course there's nothing wrong with just adding stupid shit because its funny (see, rainbow edition), but when the tagline is "more balanced than vanilla" and there's THIS MANY unneeded extra bits and bobs added in I'm inclined to think the mod creator might be a mite bit too far up their own ass

amazing stuff, really informative and a blast to watch. Only recommendation id have is don't use visual mods for an informative video, theyre a little distracting and takes away from the content in broly's case.
So, Android 17 is the bonafide Point character, Super Broly is now a fantastic Mid given an Install upon DHC Lv.3 (because 17 will have enough meter by then with this mod, jfc lmao), and Vegito is your Anchor because he now has God Ki Blast priority plus Fusion ki-build. Overall, pretty based. Except for the MUI Goku Frame-1 InvinDP, that can still fuck right off.
Ultimate DBFZ is cool but from what this video shows there's a lot of problems for what's supposed to be more balanced than the base game. It's still a very high quality mod, but the most agregious offender is Android 18. If that barrier was her only change she's still be way better then she should be, considering she was already very decent. Forcing your opponet to play your nuetral where you can pretty much be invincible to anything is too large of a change. The God Ki passive is also a little strange, considering how good the Blue Vegeta and Bluku's ki blasts are, and can straight up invalidate frieza, since he gets the alien buff. But that's just my thoughts and I haven't played it, very informative video, I enjoyed it.

In short, though, if you were to put a thumbstick or D-pad so that you could see the numbers on the numpad through the D-pad (with the center or neutral at 5) you'll realize that every direction corresponds to a number. (2 is down, 4 is back, etc.). It's to make it easier for players to understand moves instead of saying "down-right" or "quarter-circle forward". (Though you are completely allowed to use those terms instead if that's what suits you.) So, quarter-circle back would be 214 which is just down, down-left, and left in one swift motion to execute a move.
Ok so the most broken is gogeta ss4, he is a saiyan so he could potentially get 15% more damage, he is a fusion so more charge and at level 7 he gets broken. Seems pretty balanced to me
What about a mod that gives proper power scaling, so characters like videl just get one shot by almost every character, and other characters like jiren, beerus, and fused zamasu are just tanks.

Once you use the super on a certain level, you keep the buffs/new moves/new properties of that level. If you tried to revert back to, say, level 4 from level 7, it wouldn’t work. You would still have the buffs/new moves/properties as if you were at level 7 until the match is over. So, yes, they stack. And they stay stacked until you go to a higher level or the match finishes.
Yo how often do you play this mod? You should fight with me, Antexous, GR7 and some more in the server. Though be warned we decided to play this at a sweaty ass level.

@@TheWindBlack the majin's passive should have been recovering blue health while in battle with cell and janemba also having the same passive as (imo) recovering all non blue health is a little too good Other passives feel too weak in comparison And some of the character specifics feel like adding things just for the sake of adding things
@@overland_brew8197 Oh trust me, those regen passives aren’t as crazy as you think. Sure it MAY require a 3 touch but it’s never overwhelming. I’ve fought against all three on a cracked team and was still able to kill just as normally as I would in vanilla. What other passives feel weak? Cuz from my experience you’d have to look at each character it applies to and see what’s gotten buffed about them. From what I’ve played against each passive fits right in with each character

In the build notes, you’ll see that Piccolo is counted as a Demon, which allows him to recover blue health when on point.

Does Gogeta 4 levels stacks or does using his aura burst select the boost of the level he’s at ?
Once you use the super on a certain level, you keep the buffs/new moves/new properties of that level. If you tried to revert back to, say, level 4 from level 7, it wouldn’t work. You would still have the buffs/new moves/properties as if you were at level 7 until the match is over.
So, yes, they stack. And they stay stacked until you go to a higher level or the match finishes.
Yo how often do you play this mod? You should fight with me, Antexous, GR7 and some more in the server. Though be warned we decided to play this at a sweaty ass level.

Years of fine tuning dbfz, to the level of international tournaments, then comes a random mod and it should be better?
Yeah, fine tuning like nerfing shit no one asked to be nerfed, to then either be reverted years later on or given to newer, better characters. The finest of tuning of course.
Can someone pleeeease tell me how to make mods like this? I'm a game dev student and would so like to mod dbfz, cuz i'm even making a fighting game. I've had ideas for changing dbfz myself

Speaking from experience, i too thought this version of the game was just gonna be cracked out but then i actually played sweaty ass matches with some high level players and its nothing like how i thought it would be. It just has the initial "Knowledge check" phase and from there its pretty much the same DBFZ except with new flavoring. Well outside of Labcoat and the fusions running rampant.
I got a bunch of matches I need to compile and upload so I can show off a bit more of what the mod has to offer but its a fun time, you just need to sink your teeth into it first.
I cannot even begin to describe how amazingly fun it is. The only downside I can think of to this mod is that it's so fun you won't want to go back.
I mean this positively, i promise. I love the video but the text in this one moved really slow imo compared to similar videos from other creators (only in certain sections). Still love the vid but I did watch in 1.25 speed

@@TheWindBlack the majin's passive should have been recovering blue health while in battle with cell and janemba also having the same passive as (imo) recovering all non blue health is a little too good
Other passives feel too weak in comparison
And some of the character specifics feel like adding things just for the sake of adding things
@@overland_brew8197 Oh trust me, those regen passives aren’t as crazy as you think. Sure it MAY require a 3 touch but it’s never overwhelming. I’ve fought against all three on a cracked team and was still able to kill just as normally as I would in vanilla.
What other passives feel weak? Cuz from my experience you’d have to look at each character it applies to and see what’s gotten buffed about them. From what I’ve played against each passive fits right in with each character
