I remember being 14yrs old. Was so excited to see them on television.. what a great show it was.. amazingly savage garden received 10 aria awards that year.. I'm so lucky and proud to have been a teen growing up with this iconic story of great music that will stick forever... they definitely made there mark if it was only a short time.. love u darren and your voice.. saved me to this day...

This is the Australian Version of Truly Madly Deeply and Darren and the female backing vocalist sang live a few times on tv shows before they reverted to the International Version which Savage Garden played fully live.

Darren was married to Colby Taylor in 1994. He was never married to Anna Maria La Spina, who I believe to be his best back-up singer. They remain good friends.

Was not recorded as a duet. So even though it has a bit poorer sound quality, any version with Ana is always better to me.
