1:52 Seems to me the portrait of Player 1 is based on an Aliens promotional photo of Michael Biehn as Hicks. And the character is called Dalas. Devs had to be Alien fans.
+alienspacebat The developper is Face and this is their last game I think, and probably their finest. Just before this one, they did Sand Scorpion, an arcade exclusive as well. Other games by them for the PC Engine includes Honey in the Sky, Honey on the Road, Fushigi no Yume no Alice, Cyber Cross and Cross Wiber.
The last two you mentioned are Pc Engine Gems i have a Pc Engine emulator i can play the ones you mentioned except for Gate Of Thunder and Lords Of Thunder don't know why but man what i would do to be able to play em eh at least i have the insanely expensive Magical Chase rom saves me about $2.000 lol
I sold them actually, I play them on the mister fpga now. my original copy were collecting dust and I was never playing them, but ya the mister is the trend now :)
Abstract is the only word I can find to describe this soundtrack. Obviously there is a certain sound the emulator is playing way too loud in some tracks. Anyways thanks for showing us this obscurity
This game looks awesome and I cant wait to play it! Odd thing about it tho it seems the developers had a tight hardware budget. The visuals look appropriate for a 1993 arcade game, yet the sound seems to be a combination of a weak FM chip complemented by PSG (or the developers just made the FM chip sound like PSG), regardless it sounds great. I just find this hardware choice odd for an arcade game closer to the mid 90's.
It uses the same YM2610 sound chip that the Neo-Geo uses and a similarly clocked Motorola 68000, so I don't think it's a hardware budget issue, but they intentionally designed the music that way.

Music sounds like some GBA IGAvania tunes
Yamaha YM2610
I like everything about this, the music and sounds are cool too.
Schlauchi always plays the nicest Games :33
The music really does sound like it could be off of a PC-Engine Hucard
I remember reading about this game in EGM, but never saw it in arcades.
I realize it is kinda randomly asking but do anybody know of a good site to watch newly released series online ?
Very odd title name but wow this looks good, Great long play

第3ステージ背景見たらネオジオシューティングゲーム「ラストリゾート」の第1ステージに似てる
0:04 Wait, are those buildings part of actual Tokyo? They remind me a whole lot of Akira (1988) but I had always assumed that part was fictitious.
By graphic, this arcade vertical scrolling shooter recalls my favorite NEC PC Engine games. What is your opinion, SCHLAUCHI?
This was by the same guys as Metal Stoker, which you guys (Cubex) also introduced me to. Do you know of any other games by these guys?

Come one man, such comments are just negative and free of value on this channel.
this music... it is not very good...
The game have really bad ending earth get destroyed
An arcade game that sounds like an 8 bit game??? Wtf
I found another gameplay of this arcade game. and it sounded better. My guess is, this vid couldn't get the music to work right.
Like you have a life, for coming to a game-oriented. LOL
