Infatti. L'atmosfera carica di tensione, felicità, energia positiva di quel mese non hanno mai avuto eguali. Neanche nel 2006, neanche nel 2021, a mio parere. Sarà che avevo quasi 14 anni e senza pensieri, ma le sensazioni di quel mondiale non si sono mai più ripetute.

Impressive piece of computer generated imagery for a TV transmission (this was 24 years ago, remember). IMHO, this opening by Telesia Comunicazioni is second to none, even today. In fact, I think the TV broadcast by RAI in 1990 was a milestone, not only by transmissions made with the state-of-the-art equipment, but also by the incredible good taste in every sense. Giuseppe Meazza stadium, superlative architecture, we couldn't expect less from the constructors of the Roman Colosseum. Two thousand years later, they still rule the world of aesthetics.

Tenía 9 años cuando ví esta intro por primera vez y nunca se me olvidó jamás. Muy emotiva la canción ,tanto en su versión italiana como en inglés. Es emocionante volver al pasado y oir esta joya de melodía y el intro.

It was my first World Cup too. I was only 4 at the time, but still - memories are memories. For me the best tournament was the USA'1994 World Cup, most of all because it was the only one that my dear old country DID WELL in.

Para mi, la mejor presentacion de TV para un mundial de futbol: la musica, el video excelente, adelantado para su tiempo, impactante, emocionaba mucho... fue el mundial del Goyco una pena, que no pudo atajar el penal en la final pero Argentina llego alli gracias a el. Saludos.

Bologna (Tower of the little donkeys), then Milan (The Duomo), Florence (The David by Michelangelo), Verona (The Arena) with in foreground Udine (Clock Tower) and aside a group of "Trulli", characteristic houses of Apulia (and therefore Bari); then the Greek Temple of the Concord (Agrigento, Sicily), Genoa (The Beacon/ La Lanterna), Naples (the New Castle/Maschio Angioino); Turin (Mole Antonelliana) and Rome (Coliseum); but I miss one, the very first before Bologna, that white building/wall with 3 arches, it must be something from Cagliari or Sardinia, to complete the 12 cities/regions that hosted the cup, though, my shame, I don't recognise it and cannot name it.

De este evento nunca olvidare el Empate de Germany(1) vs Colombia(1).
Se sufrió, no hay duda, pero puso a gritar a toda la gente de Colombia, que bonito eso si.
Y también cuando se escucho el Himno de Colombia en el estadio de la ciudad de Milan (Giuseppe Meazza), nunca olvidaremos todo eso. Es mas ningún Colombiano que lo vivió lo olvidara.
