i grew up playing at this park. Attended many a campfire girl day camp there, and several family reunions. I live nearby but have not been there in many years. Its always been pretty nice. The pavilion is often reserved for parties and reunions.

I'm sure most would like to know how to actually get in touch to camp! Here is what you do .... go to www.hcp4.net/community/parks........spring creek park make reservations, you will have to pick 3 different dates, they will email you back with one of the dates. there is a park ranger that drives around in golf cart daily to check on you and the rest of park. he opens the gates at 6am and locks them at 9 or 10pm campers can not leave or come during closing times. we tent camped on a weekend, because this is a county/city park it is busy on Saturday and Sunday with walkers, cyclists riders and games during the baseball season. The tent camping has electricity/water/ fire ring pit/ grill/ table...there are 3 tent sites with hook ups, a church group camps Friday night set up and leave on Saturday morning at entrance main road and bathrooms, they do not use electricity. there are 8 rv spots with all the works on site. no camping is allowed past basketball only boy scouts. the restrooms near basketball court also has showers. It was not mentioned on video but you also are allowed to fish in creek. dogs are allowed with 10' leash at camp on leash when walking. out of towners, this is a great place to be safe and visit nearby Tomball and Houston sites not worry about your belongings. Just let ranger know when passing by where you are going, so he can keep an extra eye out on your spot. Some may not like a busy body ranger but he keeps an eye out on you and your property, he even helped us set our tent up since we were 2 women team 1st time campers. This is a Harris county park our tax dollars pay for, yes it is geared for the taxpayers but anyone can visit our County, just as long as you give all your pertinent information during reservations. I enjoyed the video we did not get the opportunity to see the historical markers, but will when we return on our next visit. I am interested if there are other counties that has something similar to this park....anyone know?

Campervan Carl in Houston. No WiFi... why go? There are a multitude of boondocking spots nearby with WiFi in range of a decent antenna.
Campervan Carl Never even looked into wifi. You can tell we aren't full time yet.

The web site says that "residents" can make reservations. Is that only Harris county residents? I live in Polk county.
Im not sure, I never made a reservation. I would just call and ask, it may be for the BBQ pits.
