Changelog 3.4 - No Major Changes. - Pick up new Holy Dominion and Divine Fervour in the tree for more damage! I guess "Shorter" is a bit of a misnomer for this video, due to having to explain what I am cutting and extra stuff for Uber Elder. These shorter build guides will be shorter in length the future as well as being more abbreviated, cutting: optional uniques, rare affixes, leveling, etc from the video to make producing and viewing it easier. Let me know what you think and improvements that I can make for this format in the future! Thanks!
Engineering Eternity I liked the format of the video, but what if you could put the things you cut in the written guide for people who like those extra details can see them there. PD: I like your work :D
Just finished my first shaper thanks to this bro! Pretty cheap overall without xoph's, decent damage and tanky, , it is truely for the slow ones like me who can't dodge for shit XD
I always love your vids! Since I'm always theorycrafting my builds myself while I'm not the best at seeing good synergies I always discover some good stuff in your builds I can use myself! You're a huge Inspiration!
Great video as always. Really appreciate your efforts! Some subjective feedback from someone who just took this to 70: I changed PoIce to PoElements and picked up Thief's Torment(ring) for onhit hp/mp regen. I also chose Unbreakable third. Took this build into t10 map at 69 and cleared it np; although a bit slow, no deaths. (Lv 70 Def:76%FR, 75%CR, 69%LR, 30%ChR. 4843hp, 14274 armor 0shield)
Just wanted to say big thank you for this build! It's so well balanced for the Uber Elder that I'm proud to say that I did it on one go first time ever. Made many mistakes during the fight and this guy managed to finish it. Mind you i made this build out of frustration cause I couldn't finish the fight with my 2,5mil Shaper dps Champion because he couldn't sustain so much dmg in the long run. Tried it also with Arc Elementalist with 8 sets wasted. Simply they can't endure all the dmg and my lack of skill. This build made it thru. TNX!! :)
Thank you so much for this video, I got my first ever Shaper kill with this build! I couldn't even beat the guardians before :( My reflexes are pretty slow, so the tankiness of this build let me get through the fight. He even dropped a nice shiny Starforge, partly offsetting the massive cost of gearing this beast of a character :)
well this is going to be my race build haha.. I stopped playing the acendent version of this build a while ago and I have been having trouble finding a good jug build to go for.. sooooo.. thanks EE :D
used this guide as a league starter, feels indestructible after you pick up the anger leech on a watchers eye. my plan was to start off by farming guardian maps and shaper sets but that's been slowed down by the new zana mods, so now im just working on burning out my retinas doing delves with ancestral call support linked to MS feels alot better on damage than the EQ build i was using last league
I played this build (with Loreweave and Lioneye's shield) and it's just AWESOME, the dying sun give a huge boost for mapping, but I did most of the maps with bladevortex elementalist first, then I screwed every bosswith the Jugg. I just love the Juggernaut and molten strike
Very nice new format for your guides. I like to watch guides to explore new builds and then for the guide to tell me how achievable it is. I would like to see something like a budget version section, it shouldn't add more than a minute to the guide. Something that shows a progession to the end game items. Eg. Going from Belly of the Beast to Koam's etc. This gives players the ability to gauge how achievable it is.
Maltar Draco ED isnt that good for bosses in general. Allelopathy for Blight is a meh-solution to single target damage. Indigon ED is way more focused towards single target
I like the shorter guides. Anything I plan on using in game I'll be looking at the written guide so I think it'd make sense to keep the vid to 10-15 min then put extra options/super specific things in the written
Leveling the build really was a pain in the *** but anyway : A really nice build. It costs a bit much but its totally worth it. Things i've done so far : All 10 Acts T16 All Guardians (No deaths) Atziri (No Deaths) Shaper (No Deaths) Yellow Elder (No Deaths) Truly amazing , it took me 4 trys (4x6 Portals) to do the shaper without a single death even though i haven't practiced him before. Your Channel is awesome, keep it up :D
I'd really like to see a guide on crossing the gap from yellow tier mapping to actually generating the kind of currency necessary to actually gear something like this
It's all about actually investing currency into your maps to sustain red tier maps. When you get to tier 11+ you should chisel and alch every map, possibly reroll if you get low pack size. getting t14/t15+, use sac fragments and vaal orbs if you're not afraid of bricking maps. If you're running an elder map, use sextants. Other than that, generating currency is mostly about efficiency. You can easily amass the currency needed in yellow tier maps for this build, but not by running 2-3 maps an hour. Doing 15-20 maps an hour is when you're really going to see the currency pile up.
At about 4:07ish you mention Soul of Arakaali and "except life gain on hit." The SoA effect actually does work on LGoH since it's recovery, not recovery rate. If it was recovery rate like Trickster's Patient Reaper then you'd be correct, but simple "increased life recovery" works on instantaneous effects as well.
I must say ... Hats off! Not only this guide but the story leveling process are just insane , amazing content and dedication. Now abou the build , ended up having to respec one node of the duelist mana leech after buying grell's and watcher's eye. Ended up without mana sometimes, I'm guessing the solution might be to get some mana leech from the rings but wanted to know your thoughts on it .. again my bro , keep it up !
I discovered this in your pastebin about a week ago. Obviously it was unfinished. I was amazed at the damage output of "Undeniable". I took it at L68 (merci lab). I was wondering if that should have been earlier in the ascendency. I grabbed whatever unique swords i had, but i was impressed by Daresso's Passion Estoc's. I was able to use two of these until the Grelwood Shank's at L66. So very enjoyable, even though i didn't have any of the regular twinked gear.
Shorter format works really well! A bit easier to watch. I find the longer guides a bit of an information overload at times although the niche mechanics you discuss help me learn a lot so perhaps more mechanically niche builds should be longer :)
i love molten strike. i can't wait for them to make a molten strike MTX. anyway, personally i can't get behind using graelwood shanks. i almost always run a helmet with at least 2 extra molten strike projectiles, and 2x wildfire, which i find is plenty projectiles. there is a point with molten strike where you can have too many projectiles and it just widens the spread of them, which won't end up hitting the boss anyway, effectively being useless. thus, i would probably take the opportunity to drop a wildfire jewel or two when using said swords. just pick up a couple other nice rare jewels. i would probably also look to place combustion in another form of set up, so it isn't taking up a spot in your main links. such as on a totem or something that can apply an ignite for you. i run a ngamahu molten strike raider. i love it because i feel quite tanky in being an evasion tank. my life pool is still 6,300 which is decent, so long as nothing one shots me since basically nothing can hit me twice in a row. anyway, what i find works great is using ngamahu axe (molten burst) as supportive effects towards my molten strike main damage, which is in a 6L belly of the best. so in the axe i socket combustion, maim and blind. this lets my molten burst give me said beneficial effects towards my molten strike balls automatically, and effectively. straight up love molten strike. best melee skill IMO and has been since threshold jewels were introduced.
Hi as always high quality content awesome thanks! What items would you recommend to start mapping with to transition into endgame / farm currency? Maybe just a Tabula?
Hi - Thanks so much for all your work on this channel it is a great resource! If you have time I wanted to ask in your "molten strike jugg uber elder farmer" - if you did swap out the kaom's heart for a 6 link belly (with +1 to socketed corruption) - would it be worth swapping out one of the red gems for an empower (lvl4)? Or would it be better to go 4R-2B and swap out concentrated effect for the empower - thanks again even if you don't have time to answer! I know molt str got nerfed a bit via wildfire but I still love the build. I use hrimnor's with the 6L belly to avoid chills/freezes completely and works a treat!!
I feel like this format is great for advanced players and it makes sense that they won't need as much information as we noobs do. If you could make cheaper builds a bit more detailed and expensive builds more compact I feel like that would be a good balance.
can you have a 40% conversion from physical to fire watcher's eye prismic jewel instead of xophs? its literlaly cheaper and doesn't take up the amulet space since molten strike has 60% conversion, you can get exactly 100% that way. This meant that the amulet can be used even further to boost dps making the dps higher whilst maintaining the sustain
Nice, i think it could be shortened to 6 minutes and still be fine. Those who will end up following the guide will use the written one anyway so might as well just showcase it while takling about what's special about it.
Amazing guide as always! I'm looking to start an MS Jugg as my second char this league but am debating either yours or the Undeniable guide on the official forums. You use dual wield/kaoms/elder helm & they use 1h/shield/loreweave/rare helm. Do you know if the other one has more DPS?
Hi There. First, thanks for the build ! I have played it over Incursion, and it was a very good one. Now, with Delve, I think we will be limited by the weapons to a certain level. If we can't upgrade our weapons, this build won't be able to compete. Do you think it is possible to achieve it with rare swords ? Thanks in advance.
ok,ok but what about rest of game? U swap gear? I just watch a tons of guids and many of the builds where without chaos res... Im missing something ( noob player here :P)
They are within the Written guides for most all of these. I find it easier and you really dont need the leveling tips in the Video, as it just takes more time showing things that will be read anyways.
Hey man, loved this spec & used to destroy Uber Elder last league. Curious if you are going to update it for 3.5? With the -1 jewel nerf, the amount of proj nerf & grelwood being harder to get, it looks like this won't be as strong to start.
wrong infor. Unstoppable doesnt immune to freeze. When frozen, your movement speed = 0, and your attack speed = 0. Jugg's passive makes players still moving when frozen, but not able to attack. (which means cant leech during the frozen, and might die)
There is a litle failure in this guide. you have to change the watchers eye with the wildfire jewel near the duelist. And i think you have to stop blood rage with immortal call for the effect of aracali. thx for this guide.
How does the tankyness compare to your thicc Jugg build? Your Thicc cleave Jugg is still my favorite to play at the start of a new season but wanted to try this out for the start of the flashback that will be starting soon. Do you think this would be an decent league starter build?
Hey what do you think about the gloves with added fire damage to burning enemies instead? lvl20 -> 22 anger only adds 12-21 fire damage, but the gloves I have add 48-78 fire damage against burning enemies, is there a difference between the two types of damages?
The gloves with aura levels are to push Purity of Ice from +4% max res to 5%, not for anger damage (thats just a sidr effect) also tombfists give ~10% more damage due to intimidate.
Was planning on using this for my league starter in Betrayal. With the MS changes in patch notes in mind, any thoughts/opinions on changes to build, or still viable as is? Thanks in advance.
I am still using and at lvl 60 with 4 link and 1 wildfire have a lit of dps and hp to do almost all just some events bc spamwn so many enemts u can die for bursts
@@pedronabais1456 Up to 86 myself now. Only thing I've noticed on the down side so far is 1) Can't afford a Xoph (haven't found of course), so had to divert a few skill points to Avatar, 2) No Watchers Eye w/ life leech or shaper rings with life on hits = not good. Otherwise, chuggin along np.
Isnt Soul of Arakali for extra life recovery useless when it cancels when you take damage over time like: 1)Your blood rage from CWDT 2)the DOTs from Shaper vortexes and eldritch ground?
How? "50% increased Recovery of Life and Energy Shield if you've stopped taking Damage Over Time Recently" and you are taking DOT from many sources, including Blood Rage, and that soul is supposed to be used because of the extra life leech boost and regen boost it provides to both.
Can not wait to give give uber elder a shot with this build, however none of the passive tree links work for me sadly. Any chance on getting another link? Thanks for the guide!
Lioneye's Remorse provides the most Life out of all the unique shields. The Surrender Life Recovery on Block might be useful, but this build doesn't have high Block Chance. An Aegis Aurora Shield provides another +5% Max Cold Res, and a bit of damage, but has no Life whatsoever.
sounds like a good name, and I bet the board is that flat board lioneye shield. Also, whirlwing blades seems like a good pick for movement. Jewels with mana on hit can sustain just fine.
You're right. I'm playing that build currently, though it recommends either Shield Charge or Leap Slam for movement (since Marauders stack Strength naturally). It also only requires one +2 Mana gained per Enemy hit by your Attacks. It's one of the more successful builds I've used to get to endgame with, though its starting price seems to have risen recently due to the popularity of Juggernauts this league.
Can you comment on when you would prefer your THICC Jugg over this character? This guy seems more than tanky enough to farm lab, but also can do end-game content. So it seems like a strict improvement to me.
Yes, he is much stronger offensively and somewhat defensively. However, it is much more expensive, and you wont have all these items like you can get on the lab farmer in the first few days. Overall, starting with this build wouldn't be bad and would allow you to get to Uber Elder in time with investment, where as the lab farmer wouldn't really be able to do that.
Is this build still viable..? I did it a long time ago but a budget version.. now I can afford to do it properly ^^ anything more you would change now other than adding holy dominion and divine fervour to your tree?
I'm a lvl 80 Cheiften Molten Striker. I love the insane damage output, conversion and regen but I feel a bit squishy at times. Should I consider switching to Jugg for end-game or is Cheiften still viable if built right?
Changelog
3.4
- No Major Changes.
- Pick up new Holy Dominion and Divine Fervour in the tree for more damage!

there is a rumor, people saying you're not american but sugondese..
Engineering Eternity I liked the format of the video, but what if you could put the things you cut in the written guide for people who like those extra details can see them there. PD: I like your work :D
Same I think it will be nice if the extra info is added to the written guide for more in-dep info. I personally find usefull the leveling section.
Please do include the cut sections (leveling, uniques etc.) in the written guide for those who want to refer to those!
Add as much info in the writen guide please ^^
Just finished my first shaper thanks to this bro! Pretty cheap overall without xoph's, decent damage and tanky, , it is truely for the slow ones like me who can't dodge for shit XD
hey, this format works for me:) shorter doesnt mean worse in this case since its still good quality build guides!:)
I always love your vids! Since I'm always theorycrafting my builds myself while I'm not the best at seeing good synergies I always discover some good stuff in your builds I can use myself! You're a huge Inspiration!
Good format! I like the idea of this format for builds that don't take much in the way of explaining mechanics.

Thanks for the build guide. I just defeated uber elder with this build. Not deathless but still by first time defeating this encounter; Amazing Build.

nice video, very informative!! +1
I think the new format is great as it cuts down on some of the extra fat that can be put in the written guide.

Wooohoooooo another great build man. Love it. 😍😍😍
thank you for the new build
You're playing this while I couldn't even beat Tier 11 Elder with Essence Drain. This game just makes me feel stupid. Thicc build as always.
Maltar Draco ED isnt that good for bosses in general. Allelopathy for Blight is a meh-solution to single target damage. Indigon ED is way more focused towards single target
i like this format alot better :) Great video!
nice, and still here i am. Awestruck, your hideout man still really amazing
I like the shorter guides. Anything I plan on using in game I'll be looking at the written guide so I think it'd make sense to keep the vid to 10-15 min then put extra options/super specific things in the written
Leveling the build really was a pain in the *** but anyway :
A really nice build. It costs a bit much but its totally worth it.
Things i've done so far :
All 10 Acts
T16
All Guardians (No deaths)
Atziri (No Deaths)
Shaper (No Deaths)
Yellow Elder (No Deaths)
Truly amazing , it took me 4 trys (4x6 Portals) to do the shaper without a single death even though i haven't practiced him before.
Your Channel is awesome, keep it up :D

I'd like to see this too because I haven't gotten any far in Atlas because it bores me a lot and there's no simple guide in progressing.
Nice guide as usual, time to check on those helmets before the price goes through the roof xD
straight to the point, love it!
Ok, after my first playthrough attempt at using no guides I think I finally know what build I want to use.
this guy puts the cream in cookies and cream
At about 4:07ish you mention Soul of Arakaali and "except life gain on hit." The SoA effect actually does work on LGoH since it's recovery, not recovery rate. If it was recovery rate like Trickster's Patient Reaper then you'd be correct, but simple "increased life recovery" works on instantaneous effects as well.
You already said it. Its instantaneous recovery. SoA 50% increase recov rate wont have any effect, you cant get faster than instantaneous.
Finally!!! Did you did this video just for me? My last video comments. 8-)
Yeah, with this format I mainly wanted to have it always showing gameplay and being generally more engaging
Never downed Elder, Shaper or ofc Über Elder.. I'm such a scrub. Might have to try this build out. :D
The new format is cool
Might want to retool my RF Jugg into this.
love this format
i love molten strike. i can't wait for them to make a molten strike MTX.
anyway, personally i can't get behind using graelwood shanks. i almost always run a helmet with at least 2 extra molten strike projectiles, and 2x wildfire, which i find is plenty projectiles. there is a point with molten strike where you can have too many projectiles and it just widens the spread of them, which won't end up hitting the boss anyway, effectively being useless. thus, i would probably take the opportunity to drop a wildfire jewel or two when using said swords. just pick up a couple other nice rare jewels.
i would probably also look to place combustion in another form of set up, so it isn't taking up a spot in your main links. such as on a totem or something that can apply an ignite for you.
i run a ngamahu molten strike raider. i love it because i feel quite tanky in being an evasion tank. my life pool is still 6,300 which is decent, so long as nothing one shots me since basically nothing can hit me twice in a row.
anyway, what i find works great is using ngamahu axe (molten burst) as supportive effects towards my molten strike main damage, which is in a 6L belly of the best. so in the axe i socket combustion, maim and blind. this lets my molten burst give me said beneficial effects towards my molten strike balls automatically, and effectively.
straight up love molten strike. best melee skill IMO and has been since threshold jewels were introduced.
New format is great
Thanks for the guide. What MTXs are you wearing in the video?
Nice video!
Hi as always high quality content awesome thanks! What items would you recommend to start mapping with to transition into endgame / farm currency? Maybe just a Tabula?
time to watch:D
As always, Pro!
I feel like this format is great for advanced players and it makes sense that they won't need as much information as we noobs do. If you could make cheaper builds a bit more detailed and expensive builds more compact I feel like that would be a good balance.
could you pleas update your thick jugg build on your page, i wanna try it but there is no passive tree
can you have a 40% conversion from physical to fire watcher's eye prismic jewel instead of xophs? its literlaly cheaper and doesn't take up the amulet space since molten strike has 60% conversion, you can get exactly 100% that way. Nice, i think it could be shortened to 6 minutes and still be fine.
Those who will end up following the guide will use the written one anyway so might as well just showcase it while takling about what's special about it.
For sure, I just like to make sure I cover the important parts in both mediums
Hello! I really liked your build. Is it possible for them to start League Descent?
Good job.
Is there a build like this but that is going for abit more damage? :) Awesome build and nice video! :)
Any changes on 3.5?
Amazing guide as always! I'm looking to start an MS Jugg as my second char this league but am debating either yours or the Undeniable guide on the official forums. You use dual wield/kaoms/elder helm & they use 1h/shield/loreweave/rare helm. Do you know if the other one has more DPS?
how is this build looking for 3.5?
especially with 3 less projectiles due to -1 porojectile on enchant and only 1 wildfire allowednow
mark mcomber despite the changes it is still VERY good and should be about as efficient
hi, can you make a video on ranger?
thank you for your hard work
What would you do to fit aspect of the spider ?
Hi There. First, thanks for the build ! I have played it over Incursion, and it was a very good one. Now, with Delve, I think we will be limited by the weapons to a certain level. If we can't upgrade our weapons, this build won't be able to compete. Do you think it is possible to achieve it with rare swords ? Thanks in advance.
gr8 vid as always! Got one question... What about chaos res.? Don't see many on rings ect...
dont need it for Uber Elder
ok,ok but what about rest of game? U swap gear? I just watch a tons of guids and many of the builds where without chaos res... Im missing something ( noob player here :P)
bring the leveling tips back :D
They are within the Written guides for most all of these. I find it easier and you really dont need the leveling tips in the Video, as it just takes more time showing things that will be read anyways.
Which bandit leader do we go with for this build??? Thanks!
passive points, it's in the path of building
Is there any leveling guide for this or what to get when leveling up ?
What is more tanky, this build or the nebuloch with loreweave? I am curious cause i want to get into delves too.
sorry if this is a stupid question i haven't been playing long but how does leap slam work don't you need an axe or club for it to make it happen?
is immolate and combustion better than firepen+ele focus?
Hey man, loved this spec & used to destroy Uber Elder last league. Curious if you are going to update it for 3.5? With the -1 jewel nerf, the amount of proj nerf & grelwood being harder to get, it looks like this won't be as strong to start.
EE can we expect some build for flashback?
Its there something faster then BladeVortex not sure how it merge with flashback mods mostly on early game
Basically all the builds from last or this patch, even the last flashback video I posted is relevant
How about brutus lead sprinklers?
wrong infor. Unstoppable doesnt immune to freeze. When frozen, your movement speed = 0, and your attack speed = 0. Jugg's passive makes players still moving when frozen, but not able to attack. (which means cant leech during the frozen, and might die)
Could you make this work with War Cheiftan
Shorter video, still the best PoE content on youtube, imo...
good and how to solve mana issues?
Just post a POB and cut the rest, as mathil does. ENUFF for most plebs. Kappa.
Am i am the only one who enjoys in-depth legthy videos?
wah… go watch mathil videos if this isn't your style.
Angry Roleplayer i like these informative videos too.. not as lengthy as yours though man lol
So I'm basically going to do your cleave build at league start and switch to this when I can afford it
There is a litle failure in this guide. you have to change the watchers eye with the wildfire jewel near the duelist.
I'm new to this game, which class do I pick if I want this build?
Hey what do you think about the gloves with added fire damage to burning enemies instead? lvl20 -> 22 anger only adds 12-21 fire damage, but the gloves I have add 48-78 fire damage against burning enemies, is there a difference between the two types of damages?
The gloves with aura levels are to push Purity of Ice from +4% max res to 5%, not for anger damage (thats just a sidr effect) also tombfists give ~10% more damage due to intimidate.
its better with ngamahus flame?
would this work for uber lab farming?
Koam is cowm. Like the animal with an M at the end. Not like comb.
Otherwise, chuggin along np.
is there a pastebin for 3.4? thank you
Isnt Soul of Arakali for extra life recovery useless when it cancels when you take damage over time like:
1)Your blood rage from CWDT
2)the DOTs from Shaper vortexes and eldritch ground?
Nope
How? "50% increased Recovery of Life and Energy Shield if you've stopped taking Damage Over Time Recently" and you are taking DOT from many sources, including Blood Rage, and that soul is supposed to be used because of the extra life leech boost and regen boost it provides to both.
How would you say that this build is holding up in 3.5?
whats goin on with the passive tree links it making this build so confusing u need to update thewm
Can not wait to give give uber elder a shot with this build, however none of the passive tree links work for me sadly. Any chance on getting another link?
Thanks for the guide!
I will updated them shortly. Just have been busy! Thanks for the reminder
Ok, the trees should be fixed
Wow thats some response time, thank you!
Really helps having the passive skill tree when you do not have certain gear pieces.
Ideas on using only one shank, and a shield?
You can use Lioneyes Remorse or the Surrender.
Google for "sword n board undeniable jugg"
sounds like a good name, and I bet the board is that flat board lioneye shield.
It's one of the more successful builds I've used to get to endgame with, though its starting price seems to have risen recently due to the popularity of Juggernauts this league.
what stronger between ele focus and combustion?
Most of the time ele focus, you can get the combustion -res from totem or herald of purity if you want
Even with the +2 mana gained Jewel I still have mana issues, anything I'm missing here?
Seems like I just needed to manage actually hitting mobs lol, works great now!
need the ring
Can you update this for 3.5 if necessary.
4:48 That was close.
this build is abnormal ..morow will start MS -DELVE .i try it on standart and dont regret for any spended exalt for it GJ mate
Is this still viable in Betrayal League currently?
Is this build still viable..? I did it a long time ago but a budget version.. now I can afford to do it properly ^^ anything more you would change now other than adding holy dominion and divine fervour to your tree?
I'm a lvl 80 Cheiften Molten Striker. I love the insane damage output, conversion and regen but I feel a bit squishy at times. Should I consider switching to Jugg for end-game or is Cheiften still viable if built right?
Id say jugg is much stronger, defensively and offensively since you pack the chieftain into the amulet
for hc this wouldn't be a budget build (15ex) but other than that very niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice i like mr. EE
how much dps this build does?
is this build viable for 3.10 ?
is molten strike safe for low end pc?
