- There is much misconception about freemasonry. I think the biggest one I've seen is that it's a form of religion or cult. It is a Fraternity. I am only barely started on my journey, but already I can see how great it is going to be.
Nice! Sounds like all good stuff. I think men are a little lost these days... really important to have a group where you feel you belong and whom offer you an honest reflection of who you are and help you become who you want to be!

@@RepentJC I do confess Jesus is the Son of God and my Lord and Savior. However, I don't do it as a way to merely avoid hell. I do it because He gave His life and rose again that whole world might be saved.
I just have my 2nd degree back, doing the 3rd soon.

Men who make good Freemasons, have two main reasons for joining. They wish to improve themselves and they wish to improve life for others.
Freemasonry encourages men to be the best versions of themselves that they can be and a natural bi-product of that is charity and care for others.
If you genuinely wish to improve yourself and the lives of others, then Freemasonry just might be for you.
I'm also looking into joining. I want to better myself as a man.
It is a phenomenal organization.

I retired from my local fire depth after 21 yrs of service, was looking for something new .
It is great. I was raised to master Mason in December and it has been so great. I strongly recommended masonry to anyone who wants to better themselves. 👍

@East side Merez Did you know that Abe Lincoln was to join Freemasonry, but before he could, his political career took off. He decided that he could not devote the time to Freemasonry that he thought he should and to concentrate on politics instead. If he had joined Freemasonry, he may have lived longer!
