the lovecraft stuff is just an aside. the main story has always been the legion, scourge, illidan's obsession, arthas' turning evil, emerald dream being corrupted etc. The original content has been burnt through; HP Lovecraft stuff was added later and is now being explored because the original story is done.

After Yogg-Saron, the only living Old God left has been N'Zoth, and not only was he imprisoned and extremely weakened deep under Nazjatar, he is definitely not gonna make a move while Sargeras, is hovering all around Azeroth during the antorus assault. The reason Sargeras destroys world souls is so the void/old gods don't corrupt them.
The thing that excites me the most about Argus is the chance to see a Void Lord. They've never been seen on Azeroth because they absorb an insane amount of energy just to physically manifest themselves. For one to show up would probably bring another Cataclysm so we'll most likely never see one there. Argus on the other hand is filled to the brim with energy from the Twisted Nether. A prime location for a Void Lord to show himself to us.
While the Burning Legion is in control of it, absolutely. That would be a dumb move. But I can see one showing up after we destroy the Legion. I mean it probably wont happen but I can hope :3 I'm guessing the next xpac will be Old God/Naga related and will probably have nothing to do with Void Lords.

no, from chronicles we've learnt that places overflowing with the twisting nether energy (argus actually is overflowing with that) can kill for ever a demon... we killed archimonde on hellfire citadel( high nether energy) and kil'jaden dies on the spaceship that collide with argus.... this is it

We've only seen the heads of these monstrosities, and their reach goes DEEP into the earth of Azeroth. Those hives in south Kalimdor are extensions of C'Thun's insectoid body. Saronite is everywhere in Northrend, Icecrown Citadel being built out of it, and that is just Yogg's blood, no idea how super massive it's body truly is, or how deep it's tendrils have dug to the Titan Soul. The Well of Eternity is more proof of how deep the Old God's reach is. Literal planetary lifeblood, a scar left behind from the colossal body of Y'Shaarj.

Thats because Gul'dan was already out of power and injuried to oblivion, Also the power of the Holy Light is much stronger, so it would won't be an easy fight.
Illidan isn't from Holy Light, he's Fel. And it even explains in the comics that Khadgar and the Hero's of Azeroth (us) couldn't even kill him. That's why in the original past timeline when we face Illidan in Black Temple, you see him holding Gul'Dans skull. He finished him alone when in that time Khadgar couldn't nor did us. Read the comics you'll understand.
I'm just saying it won't be an easy fight, Turaylon is the strongest Paladin to ever live. I don't think he would go down easily. But to be fully honest I hope it's Illidan that he attacks, Imo I think Illidan is easily a very awful person.
I belive that 1:15 Turalyon charges at Illidan for doing something they wold not expect or agree with him on that action, unless it`s already been done by force and Illidan explains them why he did it. PS: Think back of what the vision told you, Illidan Stormrage is the key for legions defeat. So only hes way of thinking with one move ahead the enemy can lead to this victory.
~~spoilers, don't read if you don't want~~ Judging by the PTR questlines, Xe'ra tries to force the Light into Illidan since she has her prophecy of the child of Light and Shadow and all that redemption story bullshit. Illidan use his eye beam on her, destroying Xe'ra. (1:06) Turalyon is mad at him but illidan is still alive after the fight. Velen also says "The Light always imposed her ways into us, i cannot judge him because he denied it." or something like that.
Once again the Draenei seem to have forgotten that they are in a fantasy setting, and have brought the space ready capital ships back up to speed. I love those space goats.
Hey Blizzard acknowledged Vol'jin as someone who did something in this expansion. I mean it was just a flashback of him dying but at least they paid a tiny bit of attention to that major event. Though they'd completely forgotten, again.

i want to follow through on the warcraft story and lore. just finished warcraft 3, but dont know how to play WoW since its an MMO with so many paths and no singular campaign to follow with checkpoints and all. Where do i start and which paths do i follow as someone who is primarily interested in the continuation of the story from warcraft 3?

Actually they can, if killed on a World that is so Consumed by fel their essence gets absorbed and said demon is gone. And if Argus is so corrupted by Fel many demons there could see there final days.

Easier to update the current engine with newer concepts then build one from scratch. Additionally the lore itself is starting to run dry, so probably not as much reason to invest in one anyway.
The current game engine is fine. All they have to do is keep updating the textures which they are already doing. When was the last time you played WoW? the recent expansions that have come out has the game looking really pretty.
You see how amazing it would be if you make a movie blizzard? You made one continue the story you've started. You have the money, you have the story, you have the fans.☺
What would a legacy server do? You KNOW the zones, you KNOW the lore, you will never experience the first time being in Stormwind / Orgrimmar or whatever zone again. No old zone will feel new, you will just be stuck at low levels for long periods of times, see nothing new. Stepping into the elwynn forest for the first time, that feeling will never be back again. There is no need for Blizzard to waste resources on people crying "LEGACY SERVER".
They have been away fighting with the Army of the Light since W2. They even helped in paladin and priest order halls. And if you mean how they got on Argus, They got there in that light infused ship.

But, Fel counters void, hence why Sargeras utilizes it. I doubt a Void Lord would manifest himself on a planet so satured with Fel.

Illidan would kill Turalyon in a heartbeat. Khadgar struggled to Gul'Dan himself, yet Illidan killed him in one fel sweep.
Thats because Gul'dan was already out of power and injuried to oblivion, Also the power of the Holy Light is much stronger, so it would won't be an easy fight.
Illidan isn't from Holy Light, he's Fel. And it even explains in the comics that Khadgar and the Hero's of Azeroth (us) couldn't even kill him. That's why in the original past timeline when we face Illidan in Black Temple, you see him holding Gul'Dans skull. He finished him alone when in that time Khadgar couldn't nor did us. Read the comics you'll understand.
I'm just saying it won't be an easy fight, Turaylon is the strongest Paladin to ever live. I don't think he would go down easily. But to be fully honest I hope it's Illidan that he attacks, Imo I think Illidan is easily a very awful person.

I belive that 1:15 Turalyon charges at Illidan for doing something they wold not expect or agree with him on that action, unless it`s already been done by force and Illidan explains them why he did it.
PS: Think back of what the vision told you, Illidan Stormrage is the key for legions defeat. So only hes way of thinking with one move ahead the enemy can lead to this victory.

Judging by the PTR questlines, Xe'ra tries to force the Light into Illidan since she has her prophecy of the child of Light and Shadow and all that redemption story bullshit.

i want to follow through on the warcraft story and lore. just finished warcraft 3, but dont know how to play WoW since its an MMO with so many paths and no singular campaign to follow with checkpoints and all. Where do i start and which paths do i follow as someone who is primarily interested in the continuation of the story from warcraft 3?
It doesn't matter much, you can basically choose your favorite race from w3. I only wouldn't recommend pandaren since they kinda jump into the thing later.
I love the lore of warcraft...but sadly it wasnt really set in game well until...maybe wrath...i highly recommend reading novels to get lore

Actually they can, if killed on a World that is so Consumed by fel their essence gets absorbed and said demon is gone.
And if Argus is so corrupted by Fel many demons there could see there final days.

Imagine how awesome this could be with a new game engine. And gameplay ano 2017. Sadly Blizzard will probably milk this old game dry for decades more....
Easier to update the current engine with newer concepts then build one from scratch. Additionally the lore itself is starting to run dry, so probably not as much reason to invest in one anyway.
The current game engine is fine. All they have to do is keep updating the textures which they are already doing. When was the last time you played WoW? the recent expansions that have come out has the game looking really pretty.

What would a legacy server do? You KNOW the zones, you KNOW the lore, you will never experience the first time being in Stormwind / Orgrimmar or whatever zone again. No old zone will feel new, you will just be stuck at low levels for long periods of times, see nothing new.
Stepping into the elwynn forest for the first time, that feeling will never be back again. There is no need for Blizzard to waste resources on people crying "LEGACY SERVER".
I love how everyone seems to immediately assume Illidan is the one that pisses Turalyon off.
To be fair, name ONE character from WoW that messes up or purposefully screws his allies continuously...
