The orange, yellow spots on the roof can be from paint thinning, or in my experience, if the car was stored in a metal barn, the roofs can leak and it stains the paint. I had it on the top of my 68 cyclone. Great video!
Great Video! Fantastic job on an old classic. Glad to see Griot's again. You got me started on Griot's and now I use all their products and polishers. Thanks.
Great job FAB! That old girl looks almost brand new once again. I love those details where they come in in such bad shape and we bring them back to life! Excellent job!!
nice work. I use a Scotts multi use sprayer. fill it with water to rinse and wash the car in the winter. The nozzle has 3 settings. Spray, stream and fan. In the summer, I use it to wash in the door jambs.
I can relate to the car size . I just did a 1960 Pontiac Ventura (Black) and my 65 GTO that is going to the Ames Performance Tri-power nations July 30,31and Aug 1st . Nice job!! That guy should be proud to Cruise in that car !!
Great work, FAB! I love cleaning up cars like that, that is what I learned on and 98% of the cars I detailed were like that when I was younger. Awesome stuff!
Btw, glad to see you are using ear protection. Many people don't. I am now suffering from tinnitus from being around street cars and track cars. Sucks big time. I hear a high pitch frequency 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Very rare I see a detailer with eye and ear protection. Not cool when you pick up the polisher and it is still spinning. Been there done that . LOL
I suspect a bit 'Camera Shy'. I would have had a friggin tear in my eye. Outstanding Work on a Beautiful old machine! God I love Old Cars...I have the underhood of my Hot Rod fairly detailed. Of course it gets quite dusty driving it. I have been playing around with a routine. ONR Misted around and let sit for a couple. Then I have a Ryobi battery opp Garden Sprayer I put Distilled in an effort to avoid water spots. Gently rinse things down and follow with a low power Leaf Blower and Microfiber Towels. So far so good...
Looked “cherry” to use the term of the time 😁 Nice to see you getting back to your roots using Griot’s products. I have a bit of a harder time removing the Best of Show. Would have been interesting if you had used the new Turtle Wax (paste). Anyway turned out nice 👍✌️☮️
I still use the term Cherry! It was nice to use Griots products again. The old formula of Best of Show was a pain to remove but this one is simple. I love the TW Graphene paste wax it’s just so good. Thanks man!
Awesome car it's a tie that Chevy or General Lee / a dodge cornet love the video just like the candy apple red you did great job your the man fab have a wonderful weekend Brian every paint is different hard or soft paint that takes the longest to see what's the best great video thanks fab
Absolutely brilliant job, Brian! Perhaps I’m showing my age (boomer generation), but with every wheel imaginable over the past 60 years, there is still no better high chrome wheel design than the Cragar S/S! In high school, if you were lucky enough to afford your own reasonably late model muscle or pony car, the epitome of “class” was having a set of Cragars to set it off. Thanks for a great video! ~ John in Ohio
This was a great video brother. That thing turned out absolutely awesome.. it's always worth that effort we put in👍 music was nice too. He was blown away man. Love the reactions 🤜🤛 That 64 impala is just gorgeous.. used to build model cars had a bunch of impalas.. 👍
Love seeing your videos with classic cars and how to manage and respect the clear coat. That feeling for each panel I guess just comes with experience but I still learn so much from you. Thank you for sharing these videos. Seeing the customer was priceless as well. I saw the corvette, Thunderbird and impala detailing videos. What’s next, A Chevelle? 🙏🏼 Great video Brian!
Thank you! Clear coat preservation is always the most important thing on all cars especially the old ones. He absolutely loved it. I have a 3 video series on a 52 Chevy Gasser you should watch if you haven’t yet. Thanks
Yeah unfortunately it was overcast the day he picked it up so I couldn’t get any shots in the sun. The camera definitely didn’t do it justice! Thank you
Beautiful hot rod and you put a ton of work into making the gloss drip. You did an amazing job on this car. The exhaust sounded great and makes me wonder what is under the hood and is the motor making over 400 horsepower? Thank you for the video.
Great video Brian👍 It turned out awesome👌 I like when you have the customers reaction😮😍🤜🤛 My father had an amazing reaction when I did his 69 Vette years ago😍😍 It makes it all worth it😊
Great job bringing this beauty back to life! Old school Cragar wheels are the greatest look on an American classic.
Thank you and I agree!

@@FABAutomotiveDetailing definitely gave new life to that car
The camera doesn't do the car justice. That was a polish that needed to be seen in person. Good video though.

Looks good 😎
Thanks!
So what was that stain on the white paint and did you get it all out?
I don’t know it looked like it was under the base coat and it was just painted to thin.
Awesome video
What glass cleaner you use?
I’m glad to see a Chevy

Great job Brian. There’s a lot of chrome on these classics. Did you do much work on them (and what did you use)?
Yes they do! I used Mother Mag and Aluminum polish and hand polished them.

Question is will do a burnout? Do What You Do FAB. HOOF OUT!!!
I’m sure it would!
Just curious why anyone would ruin a classic 1964 Impala Coupe with a non original paint color.
It was the previous owner who passed away that had it painted that color so no one knows why.
