Fun fact. If you fight the mob of guys coming down the stairs in the fountain area with the dogs, but ignored the big guy banging on the door, he'll ambush you from behind. I took the mob on from behind by going the back way across the Great Bridge and watched him walk up to the bottom of the stairs and just stand there. This looks like an intentional punishment from the developers for ignoring enemies you should be brave enough to face.
Sam Hayes I forgot him at one point and he showed up at the top. I had already killed all the enemies and was finishing off the last dog. I turn around and he’s just sorta standing there facing away from me looking at the stairs leading up to the bridge with the werewolves. He didn’t attack or anything, it’s like he either glitched or failed to see me when he came up the stairs. Until I read this I assumed it was just a bug and he teleported or something.
This just happened to me and I legit effing screamed after i killed the mob with the dogs. I was so low and I used the fountain in the middle to run around strafing while healing to shoot and then stab him lol.
Same thing happened to me in the forbidden forest when I decided to ignore the werewolf guy on the way to fight the forest beggar. Had to fight both of them...
Pretty much every Souls fan has known this for over a decade but new players watching this video will benefit from that tip. I’m watching this vid cuz I felt like watching some footage of Central Yarnham while Bloodborne installs and I clear it for the umpteenth time although the fast forwarding business I could do without.
I may as well add one myself, it’s worth grabbing the Hunter Set in Central Yarnham after opening the Gate leading to the Cleric beast you can go down the other end of the Bridge down some ladders and it’s on a Corpse guarded by an Upright Werewolf near the edge of a cliff that drops down to some crawling Zombies and the Pig. Massive upgrade over the default foreign rags, especially in Style!
Hey man nice vid. There is two things i did that got me two more items. At the start of the game go back and talk to the girl up the stairs you get a hp pot. After the two bosses i went back and talked to the sick guy at the first bonfire thing and he gave me a flame thrower.

You missed a Blood Stone Shard at 3:58 and other one at 10:28. Also you can go back to Iosefka's Clinic and she will give you a special blood vial similar to divine blessing in souls games. The last thing you missed is the "Flamesprayer" which is rewarded from the sick man at the Central Yharnham lamp after killing Father Gascoigne.

Iosefka you dont need to help you simply exhaust her dialougue then she will give you the special item. Flamesprayer you are rewarded once you kill the first non-optional boss from the guy at the "Central Yharnham" lamp.

This is driving me insane. I'm so sick of doing the same crap only to die and go allllll the way back to the start. Definitely not for the casual 1-2 hours a week gamer.
When do you come across the next save point? ive gotten pretty far in the level about 100 times now and when i inevitably die i have to do the whole thing again its driving me insane
I defeated father gascoigne first and the wolves gave me real trouble prior to that but once youve eventually defeated gascoigne you can pretty much tackle anything so id do that first and level up improve your weapons etc
In case anyone does not know, the NPC hunter he met in the chapel that gave him the marks and cape action, can be fought and killed for a badge which allows you to buy her armor and weapon. WARNING! Extremely difficult fight! Once you strike she will never forgive you. Again! BE PREPARED FOR A FORMIDABLE FOE! Best of luck ^.^ and thank you for the video. TURNED OUT THIS IS EILEEN WTF. Textures and souroundings are invisible when you're farer away and the npc just looks like a shiny item... Took me an hour to realize this...

The guy you compared to that guy from Death Note killed me because some asshat placed a message right in his aggro range, so while I was reading it it murdered me. From then on I made my way to the area with the two giants, into the house with the wheelchair grandma with a gun, past the Skeptical Man and the dogs, into the church and tried to drop into the sewers that way. Died again.
Yeah I guess me personally I explore every single inch of everything. It takes me upwards of 125 hours to beat From games, cause I don't want them to end.
Justin Dloski I searched every nook and cranny as well, I love it, but I missed this one. The game took me 54 hours (and 178 deaths) to finish. Great game! (my first From Software game)
I know this comment is already 2 years old, but if it only took you 54 hours, you did by no means everything (like getting every armor, doing every quest, getting every weapon and Caryll rune and Chalice and every throphy.) Just saying :)
I love your guides but you should do it a couple times and like the 2nd or third attempt you record. You won't have to back Track snd such. You prob get better but thats my 2 cents. Ty tho this helps. Also the pigs are super easy. Just go to their back middle and vic attack.

When i saw all those people i was like "NOPE"... 😂 But all joking aside I've just started this game and dying is as much apart of it as your arm is apart of you. Perseverance is key and with it your confidence will build as you start to wipe the floor with enemies that were once the bane of your existence. Then you'll progress a few yards forward just to die yet another time. A piece of advice for the bonfire group though is to aggro only two or three at a time and pick them off that way. Whenever i run through that part after dying yet again, it almost looks scripted how efficiently i deal with them all now. I kill everything there. You will too just take breaks and don't quit. 😀

+James Purvis I believe its the door from the forbidden woods. In the forbidden woods after the small village entrance the path should fork. Take the left-most path of the three. Go through a cave and it should be full of Giants and parasites. ( the water is poisonous, so make sure to bring antidotes). at the end you should see a cave with a ladder. Go up. Then turn around and it should open the door. The other side should lead into the clinic you began the game of as well
Yes I got that one, it opens the gate left of the bonfire. I'm talking about the gate down both sets of stairs near the executioner in that alley way. Right before there there's a gate blocking the main path and cannot find where to open that from. Maybe it's later in the game but i thought I'd be able to access that area by now. If you send ppl to the clinic the lady will experiment on them and die in the process. But she will give you rare items. Send them to the chapel and they live (as long as you dont send the madman bcuz he will kill them all) but you will get no items. Its a moral thing goodguy/badguy
You have to get later into the game and go to the forbidden forest and there will be an area in the forest with dogs locked in them go behind the house near the dogs and will be a cave go through it and there will be a lake of poison walk through it to the other side and you will find a ladder go up it and then you will be behind the locked gate then you can open it and grab the item and you can go down a set of stairs witch leads to an enemy and a ladder kill the enemy and go up the ladder to the roof and you will find crows kill them and then you can enter the clinic and find the nurse and get a few items and open a door back to the first lantern in the game. I know this is old and I'm sure you've found out by now, but if not there really isn't an option to save anywhere. there isn't even a save option in the menu if I remember right. but if you quit out in the middle of the world, you'll start back where you're standing when you boot the game up again and all the enemies you killed will still be dead.

At the beggining of the video if you get to that cemezery you opened the gate on the left and continue on. But there is one more gate at the right side which is locked by a device and i cannot find a way to open it.
at the start after you get past the wolf you come outside there is a gate you need to unlock how do you do that, is says that it is a way there but I cant get in do you know how????
hi ive never played a game like this before and a total noob in stuck in central yharnam i have defeated the cerlec beast but not the enemy hunter. do i have to defeat him to continue
Ash 2001 he kicked my ass like thirty times. when I beat him it was total luck. I meant to shorten my weapon but hit left trigger instead just he jump my ass and finished him with one death blow. but yeah you do need to kill him to progress.
Slow down your attack, you can't mash buttons when fighting. It's a lot of counter attacks, dodge attack, dodge attack. I smoked a fatty and it actually helped slow my attack down to where I wasn't hitting the buttons 3 times for every hit.

Quick tip of you hold circle you run and climb ladders faster
I literally just found out holding circle was the spint mechanic. This is also very useful. Climbing the ladders are so tedious.

It's not really hard to be honest because almost every enemy in this level can be killed with just 2-3 hits.

You missed one item. At the 4:00 mark if you make a left and break those wooden boxes, there is an item. I believe it's a Blood Stone Shard.

You missed the losefka's blood vial... go opposite up the stairs when you first start to the door and talk...

Same I'm a beginner to this type of game and keep dying every inch of the way but at least the pimp cane is good for keeping mobs at bay.

You have to get later into the game and go to the forbidden forest and there will be an area in the forest with dogs locked in them go behind the house near the dogs and will be a cave go through it and there will be a lake of poison walk through it to the other side and you will find a ladder go up it and then you will be behind the locked gate then you can open it and grab the item and you can go down a set of stairs witch leads to an enemy and a ladder kill the enemy and go up the ladder to the roof and you will find crows kill them and then you can enter the clinic and find the nurse and get a few items and open a door back to the first lantern in the game. is there a way to save your progress as you go?
I know this is old and I'm sure you've found out by now, but if not there really isn't an option to save anywhere. there isn't even a save option in the menu if I remember right. but if you quit out in the middle of the world, you'll start back where you're standing when you boot the game up again and all the enemies you killed will still be dead.

At the beggining of the video if you get to that cemezery you opened the gate on the left and continue on. But there is one more gate at the right side which is locked by a device and i cannot find a way to open it.

For a video that says 100%. It misses a lot of the lore which is crucial for the story.
Lore has nothing to do with getting 100%. This a walk through, it shows you what to do to finish the game without missing anything.

hi ive never played a game like this before and a total noob in stuck in central yharnam i have defeated the cerlec beast but not the enemy hunter. do i have to defeat him to continue

Ash 2001 he kicked my ass like thirty times. when I beat him it was total luck. I meant to shorten my weapon but hit left trigger instead just he jump my ass and finished him with one death blow. but yeah you do need to kill him to progress.

He did kill the pig, and there is only one armor set in the sewers, which he did acquire.

Slow down your attack, you can't mash buttons when fighting. It's a lot of counter attacks, dodge attack, dodge attack. I smoked a fatty and it actually helped slow my attack down to where I wasn't hitting the buttons 3 times for every hit.
