i guess im asking randomly but does any of you know a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost the login password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me!
Hey Rick! It would be really cool if you could do one of these, but instead of famous pianists, do one taking a look at guitarists. Folks like Kurt Rosenwinkel, Julian Lage, Lage Lund and other modern players have alot of really interesting licks and lines I think you could take a look at.
Rick: "Hey Dylan, come here. I need you to transcribe something for me for a video lesson..." Dylan (with his superhuman musical powers) listens and transcribes all examples in under five minutes. Rick: "Thanks Buddy I appreciate it." Dylan: "No problem Dad. Next time give me something difficult. This was easy and boring..." Hahahaha
So funny! I was watching a video and a photo of Champs-Élysées came on and I immediately thought of a walk I took through there in the late 90's where I ran into Ayden Esen and we hung out for a little while and chatted and I thought to myself "i wonder why this is popping into my mind today?" and a few hours later came across this video!
One question, These guys are from the other planet, but why are not mentioned here both, Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea?? Por do you think they are not at this level? It's just a doubt!! Thanks anyway for all the vids!!!
Where do you suggest beginning when it comes to watching your videos? If current knowledge matters, i have gone up to level 10 theory according to the cm system. Thank you for providing amazing content!
Hey Rick! l'm a new subscriber, thanks for turning me on to Aydin, what a great discovery! since l'm new to your channel, l'm wondering if you've done anything with Scott Henderson, l'm a big fan....
fwhy does your studio background always look green screened? are they?! lol - just looks weird for some reason always - never can put my finger on if it's a camera's Bokeh or what.
This level of sight reading should be fairly easy. Maybe not prima vista material, but you don't have to perform it in front of an audience just yet. Study, improvement is certain
Since there is no any substantial harmony to compare against those melodic lines, except some isocrat bass, I don't see the scope of modal analysis as they are mostly interesting for their architectural condur rather than their inspiring melodic line.
Hate Brad's line. Kenny's lines are perfection. Aiden? OMG sounds almost as dreadful, for jazz, as Brad, but so much better than Brad in a pure music sense. Aiden reminds me of Tristano.
Wonderful video! That's enough information to keep somebody going for a month or two! Maybe a lifetime. :-)

The most obvious thing about the Aydin Esen improvisation ove the F pedal is that he doesn't play an F natural once!
+Charles Gaskell He's playing it in his left hand :) That is a great observation Charles!
Great notice!
Hi Rick. your features on Wes Montgomery were facinating and faultless. Amazing my friend
Esen is a UNDERGROUND KİNG
Rick - any chance of a Michael Brecker analysis special?
The real question is, do we deserve brad?
It looks like you're trying not to laugh at us poor bastards lol. #betchacantplaythis

Thanks Rick, Aydin is amazing, I'd really love to get that peace, Monday number 7, and more of Aydin's music. Is it possible to buy it from you?
Easy, anything harder? lol
bob bob Haha! That's what I was thinking at the time.
Amazing! Why is Ayden not more well
known
Nelson Riveros He will be :) give me some time.
Rick Beato you should upload all the recordings u have please :u
i have the same roland, and love it
Does you book also have all these transcriptions of these solos too?
If only I could still sit at a piano bench. No, the Herman Miller chair won't work either. I subscribed.
first!
Wow, great lines! Love your videos.

brad Mehldau-my favorite

No bokeh. Room is pretty much in focus. He has separate light on him that separates him from the tungsten lighting in the room.
SIR I M YOUR NEW SUBSCRIBER IT WOULD BE GREAT IF U WOULD DO MORE VIDEOS RELATED TO BRAD MEHLDAU
Thanks for your videos Rick, I really appreciate them :)
This is the kind of videos I love so much!
Hey Rick! How I can order the book?
if you invite aydin to sounding off again ask him if he thinks in scales and modes when he improvise or he just play by instinct
amazing
can you tell me what you actually should NOT do harmonically?
When it doesn't speak.
Love this.
love it. if next time you put the guitat tabs I'm gonna love it even more

Who are the 6 idiots that put their thumb down?
how can you listen to this and not to be discouraged? :)

Kenny Barron is the master jazz pianist. Two others don't come even close IMO.
I'm not.going to argue with you, just make sure to check out Mehldau's work. He is a blessing to all music lovers :)
vova47 wait, crapper
Mr. Snooty Patooty.
